Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Good overall feel, nice size

Weakness: buttons have a different feel

Overall, the controller is very nice. It has a nice finish and is a good all around size. The triggers and thumbsticks have a nice feel. The buttons have a short throw--sometimes I can't tell if I clicked the button or not. For a good price, this controller is a great value.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: - Very responsive buttons and thumb sticks - Looks good - High quality construction - Thumb sticks have good tension - Size is similiar to the Microsoft Controller-S

Weakness: - Smaller hands may have to "reach for the "Y" button (really not a problem)

This is a very well built controller. As usual Logitech leads the way in controller technology. Don't let the low price fool you, it's just as nice as the original Microsoft Controller-S. Matter of fact, I use this one instead of the original controller. Only thing better would be the cordless version of this, which is also available.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: THIS IS AN AWESOME CONTROLLER. IT FITS PERFECTLY IN YOUR HANDS, MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONE YOUR BOX CAME WITH. NONE OF THE KEYS ARE TOO SENSITIVE AND THE TRIGGERS ARE IDEALLY PLACED. GREAT FOR THE PRICE

Weakness: THE WIRE, BUT IF YOU WANT ONE WITHOUT, JUST BUY THE WIRELESS FOR A BIT MORE.

THIS IS A GREAT CONTROLLER. PROBABLY THE BEST ONE I EVER GOT FOR THAT PRICE. THE CONSTRUCTION IS THE SAME AS THE CORDLESS VERSION AND IT FEELS PERFECT IN YOUR HANDS. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECCOMEND IT FOR ANYONE LOOKINGFOR A CONTROLLER THAT WILL LAST, FEELS GREAT AND ISN'T TOO EXPENSIVE.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: The price. No feature missing compared with the MS controller.

Weakness: Biggest controller ever used. The construction is not as good as the original MS controllers and Logitech gamepad for PC.

When I write this review, I have three different kinds of xbox controllers - The original MS controller-S, a Logitech Precision Controller and a Logitech Thunderpad Controller. So I could compare them side by side and give a fair review for all of them.

First, don't expect the quality of Logitech controllers to be the same as the original MS controllers. Usually you can expect to get third-party accessories from logitech with the same or better quality compared with the ones from the original manufacturer. However, it's not true in this case. The quality of logitech xbox controllers are MUCH WORSE than that of the MS controller-S.

Second, a comparision of the size : Logitech Precision Controller >> Logitech Thunderpad > MS Controller-S. Logitech precision controller is the biggest controller I have ever used. It's much wider than the other two controllers. IMHO precisoin controller is the worst of the three in shape.

Third, the button layout is a slightly better than that of the Logitech thunderpad (the four primary buttons in thunderpad are too crowded to press). The ananlog controllers in both of the Logitech controllers are too soft use according to my personal taste.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a third party controller with the same quality as the MS controller-S. Don't buy this one. If price is your first priority, this controller is okay. If I have to choose one of the logitech controllers, I would choose Logitech Thunderpad for its size and two additional "autofire" and "acceleration" buttons.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Smaller than the original; well made

Weakness: More expensive than the off brands

my kids didn't like the size of the original. I have the Logitechs also, which are nice but bigger. We found with the Gamecube, the knock-off brands don't last as long, so we bought Microsoft.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: plays just like controller S, large and solid

Weakness: may be large for some people

This is a good, solid controller. It feels just like a controller S, but is larger. Some people may like the extra size. This was my first Logitech product, and it left me with a good impression of the company.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: First off - this puppy is solid. This isn't your sissy five dollar Madcatz controller - this feels sturdy, like the official S-controller. It's fairly inexpensive and pretty dang responsive.

Weakness: The size, which is a whopping 6.5 inches across (compared to 5.5 inches for the S-controller and 5 inches for the Nintendo controller.) There's also no concave surfaces for the analog controls.

If you're a seven foot tall basketball player, you have definitely found the ideal controller. But the start and select buttons are located approximately five miles away from the center of the controller, and for my girly hands, it's kinda inconvenient. Not to mention that the analog controls are a bit touchy until you get used to not having a convenient concave surface for your thumbs to rest - the joysticks are completely flat! Other than that, this is a dang fine controller for the price.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Comfortable layout, feels sturdy.

Weakness: The D-pad is a little too smooth and doesn't respond as well.

The Logitech Precision controller is excellent, and well worth the money. I picked one up so that I could play co-op games with others, and it feels great. It's slightly bigger than the Xbox controller S which might be a problem for some people, but since I have fairly large hands the controller is very comfortable for me.

Since this controller is $15 (Or more) cheaper than the controller S, I highly suggest getting it if you're looking for another controller. Well worth the money and a great controller. It even has a one year warranty!

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Loose joysticks, decent triggers

Weakness: too wide, start/back buttons in hard too reach spots

This controller is well manufactured. The triggers are nice, the joysticks are loose, and it looks cool.

It has some drawbacks versus a basic microsoft s controller.
1. It's too wide. Way too wide.
2. The joysticks are longer and looser, which is a curse and a blessing in different areas.
3. The start and back buttons are in the middle, and hard to reach.

Overall this is a well made controller with some serious design flaws. Next time I'll go with an s controller.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Much easier to handle than the controller that came with the box. It seems to fit my hands better.

Weakness: Took some getting used to after the original but I am now comfortable with it.

A good solid controller. Nothing exceptional but nothing negative either. At least as good as the original if nothing else. A good second (or third or fourth) controller for the money.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: *A bit larger than the standard "controller S" that now comes with the Xbox. *Seems to have a slightly rubberized feel making it easier to hold onto

Weakness: *Still feels awkward in my hands because of it's slightly irregular shape. *location of black & white buttons is hard for me to get used to

I like this controller overall, but it just doesn't feel quite right in my hand - maybe I just need to give it a little more time...

The buttons all feel really solid as does the overall build quality, but I'm still a sucker for the original larger Xbox controllers that you can rarely find nowadays.

Precision Controller Game Pad for Xbox

Strengths: Very responsive on the buttons. Analogs are Awesome, not too tight like the factory controller. Comfortable grip.

Weakness: Triggers are placed awkwardly, very unfamiliar feel.

This is the best controller I've owned in a while for the Box. I have already had 5 other Logitechs, and they are definitely the best brand around. This control will take all the abuse your thumbs can give it.
