Good Little WebCam.....As Long As It Fits Your...

Strengths: Good picure quality....Size, it's very small and light.

Weakness: Does not fit certain models of notebooks. Can get a bit hot.

I would have rated this webcam higher than three stars if not for one thing...If it would fit my notebook!!! I have a Compaq R3275US and because of my notebook design, my monitor has a small lip on the end of it, it does not fit on the top of my notebook. So I have had to arrange a different setup for it to work and I mounted it on my desk. Other than that I really don't have many complaints. It does get kind of warm but that's not really an issue for me. Picture quality has been good, as long as your in good light. If it's in dim light, picture quality does deminish a bit. Overall a good camera, but I wish it would have had a different clip so it fit my notebook.

Excellent notebook webcam

Strengths: Picture quality, compact size, carrying case

Weakness: Cumbersome software, clip can be improved

This camera provides excellent picture quality. I have been using it with Video Skype and have no complaints. The clip is not secure enough and it's usefulness will greatly depend on the particular laptop model. I found the software installation and use unintuitive and cumbersome. It sure looks pretty but could be more streamlined. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this webcam.

Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro

Strengths: Extremely compact, great quality picture and sound

Weakness: None

This is a very good quality camera in a very compact, portable package (with a good carrying case, too). The built-in microphone works great, and the Right Sound technology is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended for those who need a good quality, portable webcam with a built-in mic.

Nice webcam if it fits your notebook

Strengths: Face tracking, image effects, image quality

Weakness: Preferences do not always "stick." You have to turn on face tracking manually after using any of the digital effects. Did not fit my Toshiba Satellite M55 very well

This is a very svelte, stylish webcam for notebook PCs. Unfortunately the clip does not work well on my Toshiba Satellite M55 laptop due to the rounded edge on the top back of the screen. Sometimes I can get it to sit still, but usually it will end up sliding out of position after some time. The spring loaded clip is meant for the standard boxy laptops and fits well on a Thinkpad or probably most other brands of laptop.

The performance of the webcam itself is very nice and I was very satisfied with its performance other than a little quirks in the software and the clip design.

ready-to-go webcam

Weakness: The price might be a little too high.

Like the Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP, this webcam has a build-in microphone that can save you some space and money in buying another external microphone. It uses a USB 2.0 connection so that video and audio stream can be transmitted from the same plug. It is very light weighted and compact to clamp on any laptop. I highly recommend this webcam to anyone who would like to own the first webcam for their laptop.

cool notebook webcam

Strengths: great picture quality

Weakness: clip not fit well with my Dell notebook

This notebook webcam delivers great picture quality, but the clip does not fit well with my Dell laptop. This clip is made of hard plastic, so that's why it just won't "snug" in. It's always loose. Other than this issue, it's a pretty cool webcam. It works for desktop, too.

nice little cute webcam

Strengths: great pic quality, sturdy, nice looks,

Weakness: gets a bit hot, clip little cumbersome

I bought this camera after having notebook deluxe. It looks kool. Its very sleek. However, I found the clip little difficult to use and occasionaly it was about to hit the screen. But once accustomed, it works gr8. The pic quality is really nice. The software has got nice funny features. It gets a bit hot but nothing much to worry about. Currently, it seems overpriced. Recommended if you find it in a good deal.

Charming Web Camera

Strengths: Powerful and littiel webcamera

Weakness: More expensive than its peers

This webcamera is nice design and the installment is easy and fast. The quality is better than my previous logitech webcamera. My friend in foreign country told me that my image was better than before. The earphone, which comes with the webcamera, is not very comfortable if you want to chat for a long time. The attached bag was very convenient to hold the webcamera and earphone. The best notebook webcamera in the market

QuickCam for Notebooks Pro

Strengths: Small size, carrying case, quality of picture and built in microphone

Weakness: clip to hold the camara to the computer

The quality of the picture and microphone are almost equal to the larger logitech fusion webcam. The clip on the Notebooks Pro doesn't hold well on a thicker tablet PC, but it is still fuctional. The software is easy to use and install, but is an earlier version than the software that came with the Logitech Fusion. This is ultmately not a big issue since there was an even newer version on line.

Decent camera

Strengths: Good picture, fun software, small size with included carrying case for easy transport, reasonably comfortable headset.

Weakness: Didn't work with the new AIM talking to my wifes MAC. Had to find an AOL CD to get the old AIM software that it supports.

It clips on the top of the laptop screen but the clip is hard to use and while it holds on fine if I don't disturb it, sometimes if I try to hard to adjust the aim it pops off. Not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. Also if I arrange the cord right I can set it on the table next to my laptop and it aims at about the right place for me. I did a lot of online research before buying this and it seems that there are no good cameras. If you've got a MAC, buy an iSight, that's what my wife has and it's way better, but for traveling with a laptop, this is just fine.

Excellent notebook webcam

Strengths: Excellent image quality, Small and cute, Carry case, Additional headset

Weakness: Expensive, Runs hot, Clip does not fit all notebooks

This is probably the best notebook webcam in the market.Installation was easy and integrates well with most of the IM programs.I was amazed at how small this webcam is, and the image quality it produces for its size.The software that comes along has some cool features too.However, this cam runs very hot.Also, make sure this cam fits your notebook.I had no problems on my Hp notebook but couple of my friends had prolems clipping this webcam to their Dell notebooks. Logictech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro

Strengths: easy install, easy use

Weakness: None that I have yet found

The QuickCam was very easy to install and begin using. I feel that it will be very useful in communicating with our young grandchildren and children, one of which is in Europe and not home often. I am also encouraging friends to purchase and do the same with their grandchildren and children.

Quickcam Notebooks Pro

Strengths: Easy to install, documentation was pretty good.

Weakness: Audio was not as good as I expected

The Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks Pro came in very quickly and the installation and configuration software and instructions were pretty clear. The camera installed and the video was very good. However, the audio was not as good as I expected. Overall, the camera was very good and I would buy it again.

Laptop Cam

Strengths: Fits on computer back well with no sliding, easy to adjust, quality images, easy connection

Weakness: A little slow when transferring image to person on the other side. Less then frequent stops in imaging.

The camera overall is a excellent deal, it's affordable and perfect for people who need to communicate overseas. It's very easy to connect to any computer and very fun to use. Highly recommended for anyone trying to keep in touch.
