Buddy Hub not my buddy...
Strengths: Easy to hook up. Comes with power supply.
Weakness: Slower than Christmas. is only USB 1.1, not the faster 2.0 A simple device might be OK, but hook it to a scanner and this thing will take ALL DAY!
I wanted to connect 2 PC's to one scanner, and this looked like the ticket. My fault was not paying attention that this was a USB 1.1 device, not 2.0. This thing will really slow down the works if used. Simple devices that don't move alot of date might be OK. Would not buy another one of these things.

As of 17-Nov-07, the manufacturer's web site contains a PDF product description of the Hub Buddy which clearly states that the device is "Certified High Speed USB", shows the standard logo, and claims a transfer speed of 480 Mbits/sec. which is the performance of USB 2.0.
I'm sorry that the reviewer got an earlier unit that didn't meet his needs, but the deficiency his review pointed out has been corrected.
