DIY Podcast

Strengths: No driver required, stand, retro look.

Weakness: Only 16-bit (CD quality)

I got this as a gift for my partner that has gotten into creating his own Podcasts. He was originally using the internal Mic built into his iMac's screen. This Mic simply plugs into your Mac's USB port and is recognized by any audio app like Garage Band or Logic without having to install any drivers! You simply navigate to OS X's Input tab in the Sound preferences and select this Mic. It couldn't be easier. After listening to one of my partner's published podcasts, the sound is much richer and warmer than a lot of professional podcasts I've listened to on my iPod. Highly recommend!
