M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Surround Sound CardStrengths: simply amazing sound, great control panel better than audigy in my opinion, for music at least. i like the in-game sound too though, even though many would choose audigy. its a professional-grade card, so expect professional-grade sound. i would recommend to anyone. i am using the coaxial out and it sounds great on my theater sound setup. 100% of readers found this review helpful. M-Audio Revolution 7.1 soundcard review
Let me introduce to you M-Audio’s Revolution 7.1, powered by VIA’s Envy24HT chipset, the card internally supports 24-Bit/192kHz for up to 8 (7.1) channels. Free from AC97 limitations, the Revolution doesn’t resample sources below 48 kHz, something pretty much all consumer soundcards do (Audigy 2, Santa Cruz, etc., most obviously with CD playback, which has a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz). <p>... M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Surround Sound Card
Strengths: Excellent digital quality sound output when combined with good digital speakers.
Weakness: Haven't found any.
Revolution 7.1 includes a well written, easy to understand quick start guide and manual covering installation and features. Easy Mac setup. Works flawlessly with my Boston Accoustic digital output speakers. Impressive surround sound features.
