Great deal!

Strengths: Easy to load, setup, use

Weakness: None that I can see

This really makes printing super easy! And if you have a Mac like I do with a Intel Core Duo, it works 'ambidexterously' (on both platforms). I would definitely recommend this

One more tool to make you lazier

Strengths: Does work

Weakness: Irritating Blue light, Range could have been much better

I got it for my HP 8250 printer. First of all, this adapter has normal USB A interface not USB B common in most of the printers. I am using IVT bluesoleil software for my bluetooth card. It was easily recognised by my laptop and a connection was made. I was successfully able to take printout in about 10 min. The negative point about this adapter is that the range isn't quite impressive. After 4-5 few meters, the printout comes out in like a min or more. One minor gripe is its irritating flashing blue light. I am still playing with it and will update if I find something else.

Very versitile

Strengths: Works on Laptops and printers

Weakness: Many confusing services

I originally bought the device so I could beam documents from my DELL X51V AXIM to my new HP deskjet 6980. When I received the BT450 I noticed it also works on PC's. So I installed the software on a DELL inspiron 6000 with windows XP/PRO SP2 and a Compaq presario 2100 with windows XP/Home SP2. Both laptops work with my DELL axim and with a cyber-blue bluetooth USB dongle that I have on a windows 2000 server PC. I have only used the PIM transfer option so far to beam documents from my DELL AXIM to my PC's and printer. I do not have any other blue tooth devices so I disabled all the other services that come with the software. My WIFI network handles my main printing and data transfer needs.
