MSI PM8M3-V Desktop Motherboard - VIA P4M800CE...Strengths: Very stable and easy to setup. I also use the msi pm8m2-v and it also Stable and just as easy to setup. Weakness: Onboard Sound. If you connect the Mic into the speaker output on accident like my daughter did. The Sound will go out on the left channel. I have to buy another motherboard or Put in a sound card. I would rather see a board with the same features but support 4gb of ram and have dual channel support and come in ATX full size with 5 pci slots and support for pentium D cpus. I would be glad to pay $60 to $70 for it. But just as long as pc that using this board thats stable its worth what you get. I would like to have seen a protection on the onboard sound just in case someone plugs in a microphone into the wrong connector and warn you about it instead of frying itself. But that was just user error right there. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top
