Sony NPBG1 Battery PackStrengths: OEM quality Sony Battery, Great shot life when shooting without flash on the W series cameras. Weakness: Battery doesn't last long at all when flash is in use on Sony W series cameras, maybe 60 - 70 shots. Definitely need a backup. I am very pleased with the Sony product line and the price on this battery as a back up is outstanding. As I said in the strengths and weaknesses, this battery takes a lot of pictures without the flash, but if you have to use it at all the battery wears out pretty fast. Since having the backup I don't have a problem with that anymore. I can take all the pictures I want and sort them out when I get home. Sony NPBG1 DSCN1 Battery Pack Y.Strengths: a good back up. $30.39 great price at Page computer Weakness: I don't see any. This is OEM. You should completely discharge your battery before recharging and need a back up as the camera does not take disposable batteries. There is no use in trying a cheap imitation as you spent a lot of money for the camera and don't want to lose pictures. SONY NP-BG1 for DSC cyber-shot camerasStrengths: Made in Japan. Seems to live up to its promise. Weakness: No aftermarket replacement. Expensive. I bought this as a second battery for my DSC-W80 camera. Not much to say about a battery except that this battery provides enough energy for around 130 to 140 photos (no flash). Sony NP-BG1 Battery for Sony N1Strengths: Good Sony quality, last longer than my previous Nickon coolpix4300's battery after charging. Slim and light weight. No memory for a rechargable is good. Weakness: Hope this battery will last for more than a year, my previous experiences are most batteries will turn bad within a year. I will recommend this product since it has Sony's good quality, light weight and high capacity. NP-BG1 Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery PackStrengths: Lithium ion battery doesn't have "memory" limitations like conventional camera batteries Weakness: None These new technology batteries are great! You don't have to completely drain the battery prior to recharging like conventional metal hydride or nickel cadmium batteries. They have no "memory" so you can recharge them anytime you want. This is very convenient if it half charged but you want to start out on a trip and want a fully charged battery. Mis - charged BG1Strengths: Did not have time to really test it. Weakness: Too easy to misplace in charger. I put the Sony BG1 battery from my new H-9 upside down into a generic charger. When it would not charge, I reversed it and it charged OK - apparently. But when I put it in the camera, I get a message that says "For use with a compatible battery only" and it powers off immediately. Sony NPBG1 DSCN1 Battery Pack YStrengths: Ease of use Weakness: None I bought this battery to have on hand as a back-up battery for my Sony Cyber Shot camera. It's easy to charge and install in the camera. Since it is a proprietary item, I did not find any other batteries available for purchase that would work for this camera. In other words, I believe you have to buy this specific Sony battery for this camera. Less expensive options would be nice. Sony battery - GStrengths: long lasting, small size Weakness: little pricy but worth it Recently I got a dsc-w100 and i was impressed with the stamina of the battery. I can take over 300 picture with flash without worrying that the battery is going to die. Just in case though i bought another one. Small battery, works great!Strengths: Battery is light and long lasting (300 pix) Weakness: None I bought this battery as a backup so I'm never caught without being able to take pictures. I would rather the camera took AA's but that's the sacrifice you make with an ultracompact camera you can take anywhere. PowerfulStrengths: Holds up for hundreds of shots. Weakness: Pricey. This is a genuine Sony product so that the fit, charging, and performance are all excellent. I purchased this as a extra battery for my Sony Cybershot DSC-W80. It is the same high performance battery as the one that came with the camera. It holds a charge for hours of use. This battery is used in several of Sony's compact cameras such as the DSC-N2. It also fits my girlfriend's DSC-W70. I am very pleased with this purchase. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Sony battery G typeStrengths: Stamina, quick charging time. Weakness: None! I have a Sony digital camera and this battery allows you to shoot for more than 5 hours. Charging takes only about an hour and lets you use it for more than 5 hours of continuous use. Awesome power. Sony NPBG1 Battery packStrengths: Battery lasts as long as promised. You won't be disappointed with this battery purchase. Weakness: Price is a bit higher than other batteries for comparable cameras. This battery performed admiralably over the past weekend. Even after all of the pictures we took, it still has power remaining. I even brought along a spare battery but never had to use it!!!! Backup battery

Bought this battery as backup for my new DSC-T100 camera. Good thing is that all new Sony cameras use the same battery, so you can switch around cameras. Great addition for your traveling. This battery just keeps going and going. It also recharges in about 4 to 6 hours (depending on how low it is).
