Good budget cardStrengths: price, DVI Weakness: not for you super cool gamer-types I got this to replace an old 128MB card. I wanted something with at least 256MB memory and with DVI so I could use the digital connection to my LCD. This card does the trick. However, when looking at other reviews before I got this card, it doesn't seem to be very popular in the gaming community. It works fine though for 1080 video. It is also "Vista Premium" ready, which basically means it'll work with the supposedly spiffy new Aero interface which some editions of Windows Vista will use. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Great card for daily use and games.Strengths: Powerful. Adequate, and inexpensive. DVI output. Weakness: None. Bought this card at a very reasonable price (after rebate). Very satisfied with its performance. Good enough for playing games and great for viewing photos. A great card if you do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on an exorbitant video cards. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Amazing dual monitor cardStrengths: 256 MB memory, dual monitor support, it can run Windows Aero, DVI and VGA Ports, moderately cheap Weakness: Not as fast as you would want for games. Drivers on the disc don't work for any OS above XP. SLOW on Vi$ta. This is a great little card for aging systems. I have a 1.66 GHz AMD Athlon XP, and 1.25 GB DDR2 RAM. It runs both my monitors in extended desktop mode (1440x900 and 1280x1024 are my monitors' resolutions) and can STILL do 1080p video. It also runs Aero across BOTH monitors, with no lag. Great for Photoshop and light video editing too. I can play Portal in a (small) window at 40-50 FPS with high settings. Other than that, it's not very good with games. My only recommendation is to use the Windows 7 Beta (A LOT faster than Vi$ta, trust me) and to get drivers online from the NVIDIA Website. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Best valueStrengths: Easy install, affordable, more than enough RAM for most games. Runs very quiet. Weakness: None thus far. I bought this card for my older desktop and it plays games like NBA Live 2007 and Winning Eleven perfectly. Vice City also does not lag and every single detail is displayed. Recommend this card to anyone who wants a decent card for some pocket change. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very good valueStrengths: No fan noise, 256 MB Weakness: N/A I am using this card on my newly built PC and it is working perfect. It runs my games fine on medium or high settings( Need for speed underground, Serious Sam, Colin Mcrae Rally). It is compatible with Vista as well. I don't think it can handle recent games that well but if you are only an occasional gamer, it would be a cheap onboard video upgrade. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Good card for this priceStrengths: Good price for 256MB card, Support two monitors Weakness: None Because this card is cheap enough, I purchased it to replace my very old 16 MB card. This card is easy to install and I can connect my new LCD monitor and old CRT monitor into the same computer. It is very convenient to display two different programs into two monitors. I can sometimes watch the TV and sometimes play game. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GeForce 6200 Video CardStrengths: excellent video card with such a price. It is decent and worth what you pay for it. Very smooth for the 3D game. Weakness: Meet a little problem when install it, but not a big deal. I love this card. It is compact designed and works pretty good for most of the games. For watching DVD, it did a great job. It is a good replacement for my old video card Ge force 4200 80% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great card for older system if you are not into...Strengths: Works on 4x AGP systems, DVI, small, DirectX 9 support, low price, silent. Weakness: Not for gamers, but I knew this going in. This card was perfect for my needs. I had an older Shuttle XPC (about 3 years old), and it only had a single 4x AGP slot that allowed for a very small card. The Shuttle was using on-board video with shared memory and did not have a DVI port for my LCD. This card worked out perfectly! 75% of readers found this review helpful. Mediocre video cardStrengths: 256mb of onboard memory, heatsink no fan, overclockable. Weakness: Can't unlock the extra four pixel pipelines. 64-bit bus This is not a high end gaming card. It works all right for most gaming. I can play call of duty at the highest settings on everything. It doesn't make any noise because of the heatsink. Will need third party cooling if you overclock it. It is supposedly SLi compatible but I have yet to confirm that. All in all this is a pretty darn good card for $50 and is actually able to provide high graphics for most games. I would buy again and might if it is indeed SLi compatible. 73% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Ok Card. Good for general used. Not for gaming.Strengths: Low price. Cheap. Low profile, good for HTPC. Weakness: Very limited 64bit Memory Bus. No fan. Poor performance. 4 PixelPipelines Wats the point of having 256mb with crappy 64 bit memory bus. I rather have 128mb and 128bit memory bus. There is no fan on it, even after I stick a fan on it. Card lags when playing game after few hours. Well card runs ok for low to med settings gaming. Not for gamers. Also get this, this card can't be unlock, like the older 6200 cards. 67% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Nice card for those who are not gamersStrengths: It is inexpensive; it is an AGP card and it works Weakness: Not powerful for 3D gaming (which I don't care) It is a perfect card for me and I am not a gamer. I don't care if it powers the latest games well. Things I like about it: 67% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Cheap but greatStrengths: Cheap card but definetly worked for my purpose. I wanted to have 2 monitors hooked up to my old Dell computer. Weakness: Not the best card for gaming This card is an affordable solution for anybody that just wants to have two monitors at the same time. Multiple resolutions are supported but be aware that the 2 monitor set up will slow down the computer. I had some minor problems with the card but XFX support was great. I would buy from them again. 67% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Overall a worthy buy.Strengths: Good quality, enough for many video games. Fanless so it's quiet. Reasonable price, Weakness: Not powerful for 3D gaming. The card uses the Geforce 6200 chipset with the 44a core. This means it's not over clockable nor can it have it's pipelines unlocked to increase parallel processing to the capacity of a 6600 series. If you want 3D performance, stick with a PNY card, otherwise this is a fine addition to the home user who doesn't need serious gaming power. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Inexpensive dual monitorStrengths: Inexpensive, dual monitor, quiet, DX 9.0c support Weakness: Not top of the line This card is pretty good. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the latest and greatest. I can play Company of Hero's but with the settings on medium. All in all it is a very good card for the price. Unlike my last card, this card uses a heatsink so it doesn't have a noisy fan which is a plus. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Works just fine. No noise is awesome.Strengths: Fanless design with large heatsink. Plays low end games just fine. Price. Weakness: Not competitive with high end cards -- obviously. I bought this card to replace a GeForce FX5200 that I had paired with an Athlon XP 2400+. This card made a slight improvement in the games I play (nothing high end), but it wasn't revolutionary. In my case, my gaming graphics are probably CPU limited as this card has pretty good reviews when paired with a more powerful CPU. But my main goal was noise. I love the fanless design. My system is now so quiet that when the montor shuts off, people actually hit the case power switch thinking the computer is off. 30% of readers found this review helpful. xfx geforce 6200Strengths: nvidia/price/performance Weakness: none noted yet Had to buy a new video card for my Dimension 8300 because the old one would not display graphics any longer.Didn't want to break the bank on an old computer so i picked this card up at amazon for $41.The reviews i read were accurate as this is a pretty good card for the money. It displays the higher screen resolutions of todays flat panel monitors and the few games that we play run much smoother now.I'm so thrilled with the performance boost i went out and bought 2gb of memory to really supercharge my aging Dell. XFX Geforce 6200 ReviewStrengths: Pros: Decent 3D performance considering entry-level card. Good for Windows Vista. Silent cooling (no fan) and low-profile/half-height. 256MB VRAM. DVI, analog VGA, and S-Video out. Weakness: Half-height bracket not included (but can be purchased separately), only for desktops with older AGP slot The XFX Geforce 6200 is an overall good basic card for the money. Available as an AGP card, it works well in Windows Vista in Aero (3D graphical mode), scoring a 4.0 in Aero Desktop performance and 2.7 in 3D graphics performance—quite respectable given the card’s diminutive size (half-height) and silent cooling. This combination of low cost, small size, passive cooling, and decent performance makes it a good choice for those building a home theatre PC or PVR. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

A decent graphics card for budget systems and...Strengths: No fan - No noise Low profile - fits in most HTPC boxes Weakness: 64 bits so probably doesn't use all 256MB of memory It's a decent graphics card for the price I paid. I do NOT recommend using it for serious gaming. I generally play my old games such as Age of Empires on this machine and they work pretty well at 1280 x 1024 resolution. In addition, the other reason I purchased this was to free up the RAM that was tied up by the integrated graphics shared use of memory. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

XFX GeForce 6200 AGP Video CardStrengths: Excellent price to performance ratio Weakness: Surprisingly Cheap Packaging, Not for serious gamers This card was an excellent upgrade from my GeForce 5200. When you can find it on sale, it's an excellent "Bang for the Buck" solution. This is, of course, not a card for serious gamers. I was also surprised that the card itself arrived in a retail box without any padding. The box was basically the same size as the card. This is generally not a good idea for graphics cards. Good for the moneyStrengths: 256M Onboard memory, fanless heatsink, DVI Out Weakness: 64bit bus, not for serious gaming first I never had a problem to install the driver -- yeah u can find the latest driver on nVidia website but the one on the CD should do the work. Good card for the priceStrengths: Easy setup. No fan so it runs quiet. Weakness: None so far. This replaced a ATI AIW 9000. This card is faster even with 64 bit path. Plays video back with good quality. Sharper and smoother than ATI. It is also Vista compatable. This is my first Geforce card always had Ati. Would buy Geforce product again. Great Video CardStrengths: Low Profile, No Fan, Decent Power Weakness: Not dual DVI This is a great card I have this installed in my HTPC set up and I am very happy. It can power a larger screen monitor without any issues and I have also used attached to my big screen TV. The best feature about this card is that there is no fan to deal with which makes it perfect to use as a mid range HTPC card. Would definitely recommend this card if you are looking to upgrade or create a mid range HTPC. The only real drawback is that it is not dual DVI, but that is not to much of an issue since I rarely have a need for the second DVI connection. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Good for the priceStrengths: Price Weakness: Performance It's a low profile card so I would expect it can handle the mainstream game well. In fact if I choose lower settings, it can run most of the games smoothly, probabay due to its Direct 9.0c compatibility. Also it would be a great card for DVD play back. I am quite happy with my purchase Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Not compatible with my motherboard
Strengths: Good quality, reseanable price, enough for a video card starter
Weakness: Not compatible with my motherboard
I have the Elitegroup P4M800PRO-M motherboard and it says it support 8X AGP. But this card does not work on the motherboard. I think it might be the problem of the motherboard. But anyway, if you want to use this card on this model of motherboard, don't buy it. Otherwise, it is a nice card with reasonable price.
