This is the most desirable card; you could address...

Strengths: Where to begin? Well most important this is one card that should come with every first name that little blue and pink baby book at the grocery checkout cribs, because that's exactly who they're for.

Weakness: Control Panel for this product is not user friendly and can suck you in to try adjustments that are regulated through your computer Bios and XP operating system. Live with this 6800 GS CO as it comes.

Now here is the qualities you will enjoy!
The fine folk at eVGa set the core clock and Vcc memory frequency to 450mhz / 1.05Ghz in this plu# P2N389AX without realizing they are giving this card away for 10% less money on this very page they are selling the 6800 GS plu# P2N386AX card that I bought online for that price with complete satisfaction. I messed my up by learning the ways of the force from the Cheetos Geeks that discovered wire frame glasses and suffer eating Sushi twice a week. Only to find that the P2N389AX has the optimal factory chipset bios for every Dell Dimension, Compaq Presario, Hp Pavilion and Sony Vaio Desktop with x16 Pcie support.

VERY IMPORTANT!!! the (2x) 4 pin to 6 pin connector is NOT a Pcie power connector for the non SLi motherboards USE ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PLUGS WIRING HARNESS TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR CARD. Let the left side wire 4 pin plug hang and you will never have any issue. This card does not need a +5v power supply to satisfy the 300w,350w and 400w unprotected non-voltage regulated (PSU) ATX wiring harness that come with the Big Four (oem) computer manfacture. Check with eVGa at registration of your product if they have finished testing of the Ultra Products Plu#ULT31216 Molex 3x3 SLi Pcie power cable. They are exciting and a beautiful accessory utility; MSRP is projected at $4.49.

The 80.1v Driver that come with this card will over write any Ati graphics driver installed in your HDD without any problems or fear of loosing your screen during bootup. You can rest ashured connecting your vga or DVI monitor and let Windows XP or Media Center guide you through the installation proccess like any other Plug and Play device.

eVGA GeForce 6800 GS CO SE

Strengths: Extremely fast card. Had ATI 9800 Pro in older system and this card is totally cool. Running everything at full settings. Half Life 2 is amazing. Run's cool, love this card.

Weakness: Nothing that has come up.

Would recommend this card. With the High Definition component video that comes with the card, can't go wrong. I had never owned an eVGA card before and based on other reviews I've read there are many happy owners of this card. Go out and get one if you can get your hands on one.

Excellent Card

Strengths: One of the best mid-range cards on the market, period. 256-bit architecture, 1+Ghz memory clock speed, SM 3.0

Weakness: Only has 12 pipes; would have also preferred 2DVIs instead of 1 DVI & 1 VGA; can also be a little noisy.

EVGA also has their 90-day step-up program which makes it a low risk card for those who are stuck in between cards such as this one or a 7900GT for example. Not only that, but you also have a great warranty that allows you to flash the BIOS. This easily makes them the preferred brand for gamers. Compared to the 6800GT which has 16 pipelines but only 128-bit architecture, I'd easily give the nod to the 6800GS because it's the better bang for the buck. For benchmarkers this card is up to date and will run all tests on 3dMark06 Basic.

Great card

Strengths: price, prerformance

Weakness: none yet

this card works as good as the GT version which is much more expensive. Haven't got two so can't go SLI yet, but I read a chart that said it will give you performance similar to 7800GTX is Quake 4.

Great card for the money.

Strengths: Peforms like a 6800gt, good pirce, good performance, fast DDR-3

Weakness: Heatsink is nosiy

This is a great card for the price, it could be found for around $155 after rebate. It peforms much faster compared to the 6600gt. This card performs as well as the 6800gt pci-e, but at a lower cost.
