The Saitek P2500 is an extremely versatile gamepad capable of satisfying anybodies needs. It feel's extremely solid in the hands, but is also quite comfortable. I've used it for hours on end in games and have never experienced hand fatigue. The red button allows you to switch to another profile, allowing you to reprogram every button a second time, effectively doubling the number of buttons available.

Not long after I bought my original Saitek P2500, I encountered a mysterious problem where it stopped taking power. The people at Saitek Technical Support were extremely helpful, and although they were not able to solve my problem over the phone, the full 3-year warranty the gamepad ships with came in very useful at that point. All I had to do was ship the gamepad off to the company (regretfully there is no DC for them in my city) and I got a new one back in two weeks.

I haven't had another problem since, and I've owned it for about 1 1/2 years now.
