Reviews for OCZ Technology 1GB Secure Digital Dual Card - 80x

Quality problems, horrible customer service

Strengths: Dual SD/USB interface (if it had worked)

Weakness: Card did not work in SD slot -- only worked in USB port. For warranty return, they sent me a slower (60x) plain SD card without the USB interface.

I will not be making the mistake of buying from OCZ again. I'm willing to accept that a manufacturer will have the occasional defective unit, as long as they stand behind their product and replace it under warranty. But after my SD/USB card arrived, and it worked in the USB port but not in my SD slot (it wasn't over 2GB, so this wasn't an SDHC incompatibility), I went through their RMA process (spending half the price of the card on return shipping). Two weeks later, I received a slower SD-only card of the same capacity, and when I complained to their customer service, they claimed that their warranty only covered replacement with a "comparable" item.
