DomeHub USB 2.0 (7 oirts)Strengths: Weighted bases Weakness: None Having used many different USB 2.0 hubs, the Kensington 7-port DomeHub USB 2.0 has no weeknesses. My main problem is the other hubs usually have to be taped down so that they don't move. This is not true for the DomeHub Which is a great relief and neater looking. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great usbhubStrengths: works great Weakness: bulky This is a great usbhub. I had an old usbhub which is much cheaper but always worked abnormally, so I decided to buy this one instead. It works smoothly, and with seven ports, it provides enough connections for my usb devices. The design is quite unique, but is good especially you need to plug in several flash disks at the same time. The included flylight is a good gadget for use with laptop. This product is really a goodbuy with high quality. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Kensington DomeHub USB 2.0Strengths: Weighted base (awesome!); quick access port on top of dome; round base makes rear port access easier; dome looks cool Weakness: pricey I recently did an across the board update on my aging computer system and needed to get a new USB 2.0 capable hub. One of the most annoying problems with my hold hub was that it was in a constant state of limbo between falling off the desk and pointing into the air. Kensington has come up with a solution for this. Their 7 port DomeHub is weighted so that it stays still even when all 6 rear ports have cables in them. I love this feature! In addition, the hub has a quick access port on the top so that I can plug my digital camera in to grab pictures quickly without disturbing my carefully routed cables by moving the hub to find an open port. Another benefit of this base is its round shape. This allows more horizontal space between the USB plugs so that your fingers can actually grasp them along their sides rather than requiring the base to be moved so that you can grasp the plug on its top and bottom to pull it out. The only drawback I found on this hub is that it was about $10 more than other comparable hubs that weren't weighted (or round). Obviously, I decided those advantages were worth the extra $10 (and more). 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great ProductStrengths: Very easy product to setup and use. Everything worked instantly and it had no trouble with devices not being recognized. The USB light that was included is a nice touch. Weakness: None noted. This is my second one I've purchased; first was for me and this one for my wife. I only wish they all worked this way. It is well worth the money. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Kensington USB DomeHubStrengths: Compact size. Very stable - weighted. 7 ports. Ease of use. Weakness: None to report Until I purchased the Kensington USB DomeHub, all the USB hubs that I have purchased have the same inherent problem - difficult to make them stay put and not move around a desk or table. The Kensington USB DomeHub is weighted and very stable, and therefore stays puts. Also having 7 ports is a big plus. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Sturdy HubStrengths: Weighted so it stays put, 7 ports Weakness: Slightly awkward angle for plugging in devices So far, so good. I plugged everything I wanted into the hub, and plugged the hub into the computer, and have not had any problems at all yet. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Excellent HubStrengths: Weighted base, nice extras (flylight & USB extension cable), easy setup. Weakness: AC plug covers up multiple outlets. This is the first time I've spent more than $15 on a USB hub and I have to say that it was worth it. All of the other hubs I've tried have had major deficiencies and various problems. I had no trouble installing this hub and the weighted base makes it easy to plug in devices. The extras included in the package were nice: a flylight and a USB extension cable. Great hub
Strengths: 7 ports. easy setup
Weakness: none
7 ports give plenty of room for devices. The hub is heavy so it doesn't slide around when plugging and unplugging devices. Lights on the front show when a device is active. The setup was easy. It has a free flylight which is very handy.
