Orange iPod ShuffleStrengths: Great little compact mp3 player Weakness: No screen The iPod shuffle is a stylish little player at a decent price. It is a great, compact, way to carry around a decent mini-collection of songs. The only problem with the device, of course, is it's lack of a screen which many other players in the same price range have (even if it is just for text). But if you have a pretty fixed selection of songs, or just use it to listen to your latest podcasts then it certainly does the job. As with all iPods the integration of the device with iTunes and ease of managing content is very elegant. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Apple iPod Shuffle (second generation, 1GB, orange)
THE GOOD: The competitively priced iPod Shuffle has a dead-simple user interface with satisfying tactile controls, and its integrated belt clip provides a handy way to keep track of the player. The Shuffle is available in five, metallic colors, and the package includes a cute little syncing cradle. THE BAD: The iPod Shuffle has no screen, so theres no way to navigate easily among artists, albums,... Top

Clip music on the go.
Strengths: Size, Sound Quality, Craftsmanship
Weakness: No screen, Proprietary USB cable
If you're a fan of Apple and you use iTunes this is a great MP3 player to use as a workout music player or in situations where you'd rather not take your full size MP3 player. One of the biggest strengths of this items is the fact that it's used in conjunction with iTunes which is very easy to use. The lack of screen rules it out for use as your primary MP3 player as it can get frustrating to find a specific song to listen to when you have 1GB worth of music. When compared to other MP3 players in this size and price others can be had with screens and FM radio. The big draw here is the fact that it's made by Apple and uses iTunes. As a secondary iPod to take to the gym with a few songs to just get you through a workout it's a great choice. It's clip is functional and convenient and the player also offers great sound.
