No complaints here...Strengths: If you never saw the 8800GTX power, you'll probably believe this bad boy is a GTX and not a GTS. It's been overclocked, I mean superclocked up to the level of a GTX so it capabilities are fo-realz. Weakness: The price is still up the for must people. I mean I could have bought a WII instead, but then I wont be happy. This card is long and if your rig is anything like mine (lanbox lite), you probably need to do some adjusting first. I went with this card because of EVGA step-up program and I wanted something that will hold me over another a new card comes along. Guess what, it's doing the job quiet well. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Superclocked!!Strengths: This baby is factory overclocked!! Surprisingly quiet with mucho powah! Weakness: none, really This card may look big, but it fits my board and case no prob. My case is nothing special, just some piece of crap I bought back in 2000 and not too big, either. Takes a six pin pci-e power plug, but the box comes with a molex-to-pci-e plug. 94% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

SUPER CLOCKED WOWStrengths: Loooooks really advanced, makes my games look better such as half life, counterstrike, and WOW Weakness: it isnt free, its fat and get hot really easy, plus its costly The card itself is really big but in spite of its size, this thing is worth the money invested in it. Although I recommend you to buy something to cool it faster, as I bought a pci expansion cooler with 3 fans on it to cool this baby. Although it is pricey, the amount of benefits you get including the graphics boost and the lag free gaming is well worth the trade off. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Best cost/benefit relationStrengths: Price, overall quality. Weakness: Stability - I can use it to fry my eggs in the morning. This board is something. This is the best you can buy for 200 bucks. On the other hand, I must advise that if u want to play on this, it is better to buy a better and bigger cooler...or you can use it to warm your coffee. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

time for a secondStrengths: works well with 100% of DX9, and 90% of DX10 games. Weakness: crysis spanks it with the eyecandy on. now that this card has come down in price, and others are coming out, a 2nd factory OC'd card in SLI will handle all crysis and (near) future games. Excellent performanceStrengths: Play without having to turn detail down Weakness: Not high end anymore, but it's expected since it's been out for a while. What can I say? This card has been awesome at running everything I throw at it. Only in the newest games (Crysis) does the card begin to show its age, but it's still perfectly playable with the eye candy enabled. Drivers are very stable and seldom cause crashes. With the 8800GT out and soon the revised 8800GTS, it's a sure bet I'll be upgrading to another Nvidia card. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Superclocked EVGA 8800GTS 320MbStrengths: This card it Very Fast. I was had a 7900GT prior to this one was thinking about just getting another for SLI. From the reviews I have read I heard that this card was faster and it is much better Weakness: Very Big card. It was 3x the size of my 7900GT card. I now have one less PCI slot to use. Need fan adjuster on card This card was exactly what I was looking. I seriously thought about purchasing another 7900GT for SLI mode but heard this One card would be faster. It is faster my scores in FEAR more than doubled from 35-40 fps to 80+ at MAX settings. Am using Riverturner to adjust the fan because the card gets very hot and the default fan speed is only at 60 percent. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great card...Strengths: Fast, cheap, and can actually run DX10 games. Weakness: Newer cards coming out. Great card: fast, cheap, and can actually run DX10 games. I've had good luck with eVGA and this is one more example. I didn't intent to buy overclocked but at only $5 more I'll let them tinker instead of me... Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Awesome Graphics!Strengths: Runs all games at maximum settings with no problems. Quiet as well. Weakness: Rather large card. A bit expensive. This video card came very well packaged, but was missing a software CD, which EVGA replaced immediately, great customer service. Install of the card went fine, nothing special to it really. Those with smaller cases or funky motherboard layouts may have some trouble. This card is large, taking two free slots, and rather heavy, but the substantial feel of it is nice after spending $300. The stock cooling solution is also quite hefty, and I am happy to report it does the job well with no excessive noise. Most importantly, the performance of this card is phenomenal. I upgraded to this card from one a few generations older, and the difference is night and day. This card plays everything I throw at it at max settings with no glitches thus far. I am quite satisfied with this product. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Simply amazing.
Strengths: Runs ALL my games maxed out, full resolution (my monitor maxes at 1650x1050), 70-300 FPS, depending on the game (70 FPS avg. in F.E.A.R., 300 FPS in BF2). Runs quiet. Super stable. DX10!!!!
Weakness: Nothing at all.
This card was the original "budget" DX10 card, but now it's more of on the high-end list. The 8500 and 8600 are the budget cards now, and are SERIOUSLY underpowered. This 8800GTS 320mb Superclocked works perfect. Unlike ATI video cards, it never causes BSODs or crashes/restarts. Perfectly stable 24/7. Games look and run amazing. 16x AA and AF, with transparency supersampling AA with gamma correction. Games have never looked more brilliant. Uses the same GPU as the GTX and Ultra, so you get an amazing experience, but with limits. 320mb only goes so far. Although better than 256, it could still use more RAM on it for more resolution and no slowing down with AA. If you don't want to shovel out the dough for the GTX, this will definitely keep you in the game(s) that are coming out. Should be able to handle Crysis on medium-high, depending on your AA settings. We'll see :)
