Most powerful motherboard I've had...Strengths: Finally getting the best out of my e6600 - p5b-e plus was ok but felt lacking. Striker extreme was unstable and blew it's stack - will be selling replacement. EVGA's board just works, NCQ is even on.. Weakness: None stability wise, just difficult placement of main SATA bank and case pins..apart from this minor thing, I have found no issues and boy do I know issues!! Maybe just luck? Not a chance... I love this motherboard!! The last board similar for mine in stability/fun etc. was, yes A7N8x, nf2 mobo..This is similar feeling, everything works, stable up to 430fsb so far with Flex9200...My Striker Ex. was rubbish from day 1, had to use a 7800gtx to install XP ffs!!!Eventually Striker died, vendor gave me wrong mobo back, so I took a chance...Will be selling said Striker:) 100% of readers found this review helpful. Evga 680i MotherboardStrengths: Lifetime warranty, great for over-clocking, HD audio. Weakness: The optional fan is a little loud. My first Evga product purchase, I'm pleased with its performance and ability to over clock my Q6600. It still seems a little expensive; the upcoming Intel chipset that offers PCI-e 2.0 should hopefully take care of that soon. I have read a few complaints (from the Evga forums) about how the board’s manufacturer (Foxconn) used too much heat paste and that causes some problems down the line. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Quality motherboardStrengths: Overclocking, onboard error display, onboard power and reset buttons, 3 PCI Express slots, lifetime warranty when registered. Weakness: None. This motherboard was built with gamers in mind. It possesses the ability for extreme overclocking and doesn't have all odd colors motherboard colors! It has been quite stable in the months that I have used it and had no problems whatsoever with it so far. I would recommend it to any gamer looking for a powerful motherboard with all the needed features without the extra junk. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very Satisfied.Strengths: Endless overclocking options in BIOS. Onboard POST LED. Weakness: NVidia nTune (provided) has bugs. SATA connections don't match manual. South bridge is impossible to get to. This board is running a E6420 @ 3.3 GHz, FSB @ 1.4 GHz, OCZ DDR2-8500 @ 720 MHz 33331T, and EVGA 8800GTS OC'ed. Make sure you have plenty of room in your case to take advantage of all the features this board has to offer without crowding it with cables. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Fantastic motherboard
Strengths: Easy set up. On board LED gives status codes (even before POST beeps). It comes with all the connectors and cables you'll need.
Weakness: SATA connections - they are not numbered according to the manual, and 2 are parallel to the board, so are difficult to connect to once the board is in the case.
The board was easy to set up, and the documentation was reasonable. It includes IDE, floppy, and SATA cables, as well as backside/card slot connectors for USB (4x2.0), Firewire, and serial ports. It already has USB and Firewire ports on the board, but if you need a lot, or have a serial device, it's nice to have all of those connectors.
The BIOS was easy to flash from a CD at boot, and recognized all of my components properly. It also has plenty of ability for overclocking in 'expert' mode.
