Strengths: Off-the-air and cable signals can be utilized

Weakness: high price

I bought this because of good reviews from hdtv tuner.com. This works pretty good and I like its capability to capture cable signals. One complaint is high price. Another plus is you only need a USB cable which makes it a simple connection to a PC or laptop.

Almost perfect if your graphics card is strong

Strengths: Compact, easily mobile to other computers, HDTV, smooth operation

Weakness: A powerful graphics card is needed to display full-screen HDTV; sporadic software glitches

Overall I'm very pleased with this HDTV tuner. It replaced an AVerTV card that had no Vista driver, and operates more smoothly; no static sounds while switching channels; no sudden change in volume just by turning it on. Its included HDTV tuner works very well, and it has a very nice infrared remote control, as well. Its only problems are (1) a sporadic no-volume problem, that seems completely unpredictable, and (2) if you want to enlarge an HDTV channel to the full screen, you'll need a VERY powerful graphics card to achieve a smooth picture - like an 8800 series. I started out using a 7950GT card, which yielded a lot of flicker; putting in dual 8800GTXs in SLI has changed it to a flawless picture.

GT Mobile HDTV Tuner.

Strengths: very clear , great resoultion, easy to browse the HD tv channel, can record

Weakness: hard installation

Hard to install, spent lots of time figuring out what to do even followed the menual. The Auto startup CD doesn't auto install the USB connection, always pop out failure installation, kind of frustarated.
