ABIT Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI Motherboard

Strengths: Support a wide range of Intel LGA775 processor from Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo etc. to Pentium 4.

Weakness: A little cushion for the mobo will be nice. As it is the only support is the card board box but it arrived safe.

Great mobo geared toward gamers. Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel endorsed this product with his signature and abit of history of himself.

Had no problem installing this mobo. Work as advertised.

Another thing I like about this mobo is the support of two PCI-Express X16 NVIDIA Scalable Link Interface graphic card. Plus Silent Cooling hardware creating a totally silent mobo solution.

What this motherboard is and not

Strengths: This motherboard is sleek and looks wonderful. Has a on/off button on the bottom right, so you work outside the box for the DIY people Has a HD audio cable for sound systems -a program for flash bio

Weakness: Hard to make it work. Needs a 24pin and 8pin. flash menu

This motherboard is really great when you get it working, but the biggest problem would be the 8pin power connecter, since power supplies that have this type of connector are 90$+ or get a connector that makes the 4pin into 8pin but my opinion is a bad idea since its not made for the power supply to begin with. At the plus side the motherboard has the HD audio which you don't need to buy a sound card for this motherboard and the forum support they have, which will help you in your problem and the added.

If you are a advanced user and a gamer then this motherboard is for you. If your the casual gamer that has basic on computer building then get the $115.99 ASUS its more user friendly and is a dual SLI motherboard.

P.S. ATX form factor= medium PC cases and large PC cases,
ATX mini factor= small PC cases

ABIT Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI Motherboard

Strengths: With Bios Update v1.6, support CPU FSB upto 1333Mhz, HD Audio, Fanless Mobo setup for silent, Supported Max DDR2 Ram upto 8GB per slot x4 = 32GB Max

Weakness: Bios V1.0 and V1.1 Not Vista Certified, V1.2 to 1.4 Vista Certified and best for OC'ing V1.5 to V1.6 OC will cause unbootable and have to clear CMOS

Great Mobo for gamers and affordable, no problem on getting this mobo to works and very stable only tweak a few steps up from stock from stock voltage, OC'ing CPU FSB can achieve up to 1100 Mgh with C2D E4600 @ 2.4Ghz OC running on 3.3Ghz with bios v1.4.

Inexpensive 650 SLI board, easy setup, works fine,...

Strengths: the board is very easy to setup and it only takes me less than an hour to make it work. It has HD audio, which works great at my home. 32 Gb memery. inexpensive 650i board.

Weakness: it is only x8 PCI-Express when works at SLI mode. it require 8 pin cpu connector, so be parpare for your PSU.

Small noise comes out when I connect it to my external tv receiver using line-in and line-out ports. Computer freezes several time when I copy large files (> 4 GB) from external hard drive to the internal hard drive. Problem only occurs when I connect it to the front usb port, not sure if it is the motherboard problem or my external hard drive, but my external hard drive works fine on other computers. Overall, it is a very good motherboard and I like it. I have only 4 pin cpu power connector but still plugged in because abit guys told me this board is backward compatible with 4 pin connector, but if you want to overclock, I recommend to upgrade your PSU.

Fatal1ty FP-IN9 mobo review...

Strengths: This thing is amazing! Sweet color too...

Weakness: None that I could find. I dont know why these other people had problems, my build went great, fired up on the first run.

This board has everything you could possibly want, holds up to 32!!GB of RAM, has a nice bios setup, and its solid. Nice to have the reset and power switch on-board, makes the build a little easier.
