Great Device. Meets Expectations. Bulky but works...

Strengths: Improves the sound quality for both parties as I drive with top down in convertible....

Weakness: Size. Also, based on other recommendations, I bought jabra mini eargels and they work great...

So, I was excited and skeptical after all the reviews. As expected it arrived and works like a charm. I suspect the next generation device will be smaller in size (at least I hope). Otherwise it works great.

Highly recommend AAA+++

Best Bluetooth headset I've found

Strengths: Light, comfortable to wear, excellent sound quality

Weakness: Buttons are strange (concealed under casing), volume adequate but should be adjustable higher

I have owned a wide variety of Bluetooth headsets (about 10 in all), and overall I find the Jawbone to be the best. It's light, rests comfortably on the ear, has excellent sound quality (provided you have it correctly positioned) and very good range.

Pairing the Jawbone was simple - it was detected by my BlackBerry and was working in minutes.

Using the headset is just like any other Bluetooth device. The one very odd implementation is the buttons, which are positioned underneath the casing, so you are actually pressing on the casing to get them to function. This has a strange feel to it, but fortunately you don't need to use these very often.

Like others who have reviewed this product, I bought the Jabra eargels to use with it. Unfortunately, even with them I was unable to find a tight fit in my ear; however, simply resting it on my ear works fine and fits comfortably. I am not thrilled with the volume, but this may be because I am unable to get a tight fit with any eargel.

People I am talking to report excellent sound quality. I also like the fact that I can stray away from the handset and still get good reception - with most BT headsets, once you are 15 feet away or so the reception degrades rapidly. With the Jawbone, I have gotten as far away as 25 feet before hearing a noticeable difference in reception.

Overall I consider the Jawbone an excellent earset. If not for the few issues I have mentioned, it would be a '5.'

Best Performing Bluetooth Headset Right Now

Strengths: Noise reduction, looks great, not as fragile as it looks

Weakness: Not perfect out of the box, requires modification to make it work well, not the smallest, a little harder to put on

The noise reduction really works. I find that it is an ideal pair to the iPhone in noisy situations. It's not the sexiest design anymore; Apple's Bluetooth headset probably takes that award now but it works perfectly for me on the freeway with the top down and the windows up, frankly even with the windows down. There is really nothing out there for better noise reduction. I think the silver is very appropriate for a work environment, better even than the red (obviously) or black (which tends to stand out if you're light-skinned). A Google search will show that many Jawbone users "modify" their Jawbones right away and I can't agree more. The funny thing about the Jawbone out of the box is that people can hear you better than with any other Bluetooth headset but out of the box, you can't hear them. Why? The included rubber earpieces are terrible. So you go to Hello Direct and order the Jabra MiniGels, Part #13059 for $5.50 (www.hellodirect.com/he...)
For $5.50 with free shipping, you simply pluck the old rubber gel off and screw on the Jabra you prefer. The longer one is very comfortable, slides into your ear a little bit, and funnels the sound right to you. It's the best "accidental" modification I've ever seen. The install is self-explanatory and the rubber tips must be standardized or something because they fit perfectly. The credit goes to someone else but other users report this combination is so stable, they can even take the securing wire off. I keep it because it just stables the earpiece even more so that I can move around very actively with no problems. Just slide the hook on over the top of your ear and there you go. It pairs automatically with my iPhone so for those of you with one, it works ideally with minimal fuss one you have Bluetooth on and the two paired.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Good sound volume on the receiving end, works great in the car, long stand by time, and very easy to pair with the iPhone

Weakness: ear loops make it hard to het a snug fit, they break easily, and definitely no the smallest or lightest headset.

I have certainly had my fair share of bluetooth headsets over the years, and after watching the video on the company's website I thought this might finally be the one. When the headset is positioned properly, it is very easy to hear the person you are speaking with - far better than my Motorola H700. Previoiusly, I always had complaints while driving that the other person on the line cannot hear me well. With the Jawbone, i can have the radio on, windows down, or the air conditioning going full blast and people still only hear my voice.

The volume is a little tricky to adjust on the headset itself, but I found using the built in controls on the phone much easier. Beware of the range of this headset. The other day I left my car walked into the restaurant and half way through my conversation it switched back to the headset - which of course was still in my car.

The only gripe I have is with the earloops and trying to get a good fit. I had one loop break already, and finally resulted to using some of the Jabra eargels. Picked them up at RadioShack for $5 and worth every penny. Without the eargels I would have sent this headset back.

Overall a Great Headset

Strengths: Excellent outgoing sound quality. Sleek design. Great signal quality. Good noise filtering.

Weakness: Comfort of the earbuds. Incoming sound is a little "tinny" compared to my old Motorola and Jabra devices.

I ordered two of these; one for myself and one for my wife. It's more pricey than some of the others but it's worth it. This is the best headset I've ever owned.

The noise filtering doesn't seem to work quite as well as the video on the Jawbone website, but then I've never had to use it around a leaf blower or weed whacker. It picks up wind, but is better in wind than my prior devices.

I don't like the earbuds because they can tend to be a little uncomfortable, but I may not have put on the right one yet (it comes with four different sizes/styles). I read another review that recommended using a Jabra eargel thing instead and may try that.

The signal strength is superior to both Jabra and Motorola headsets I've owned. It doesn't suffer packet loss (and stuttering sound) in the short few inches between my hip and my head like the Motorola did.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset in Review

Strengths: Excellent tone quality, the noise cancellation is unbelievable and does function as promoted.

Weakness: Controls are a little awkard to get used to and ear buds while servicable, could be better.

The jawbone was purchased primarily for the noise reduction due to useage in a daily very high noise level environment of a suv and automobile repair facilities. While it took a few days to get used to the slightly different profile of the unit, it has been quite comfortable and once I became use to the switches also easy to operate. Does it work? Many of my customers sometimes accuse me of being in the office rather than on the road since I have changed to the jawbone. Before customers would often tell me to call them back later and or they couldn't hear me for the noise. The voice tone quality is much better than the 3 Motorolas, Nokia, and Platonic bluetooth headsets previously used and then coupled with the amazing noise reduction without the typical loss of volume or echo chambers, makes the jawbone worth the extra expense. If fact we just purchased another unit (Christmas present) for a very good friend that has vehicle noise level problems as well. It will be nice to hear and understand him at a normal voice level.

The Ultimate Bluetooth Headset?

Strengths: Sound quality, noise limiting, charging options, appearance

Weakness: Fit and size

This is my 3rd BT headset so I have tried and failed to receive the advertised benefits from a Cardio700 and Palm Treo. I pair to a Treo650 so that in itself is a problem. This headset delivers in reception on both ends, I can hear them and they can hear me. While background noise is less of an issue, it still can be heard by some. Most importantly, the headset must be in the correct position for optimal noise cancelling effect. This is where the problem is for me. My ears don't take the standard "earbud" headsets. They just don't fit! I tried each of the earbud adapters and earloop adapters and none really fit that great. One works well, but was so painful I couldn't wear the headset, so for me this is the greatest issue. You might have a more "normal" ear and it would work just fine. When the headset is in position, it does do a great job! If I had a more comfortable earbud adapter, I would give this BT headset 5 stars.

Really good looking and great range. Sound is so-so

Strengths: looks fantastic incredible range great noise canceling (usually)

Weakness: hard to get it to fit right earpiece a little fragile

This is the only headset I've ever had people come up to me and tell me how great it looks. Also, if you get it set on your ear/jaw just right, the noise canceling is awesome. Finally, the range is easily double or more anything else I've ever used. On the other hand, people say that my voice didn't sound very good; getting it adjusted snugly in your ear and on your face takes some doing sometimes; the wire in the earpiece tends to snap if you bend it wrong (happened to me and a friend). At least, their customer service replaced the broken ear loop right away. Tough call to make whether it's worth 3 times the price of most other BT headsets.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Silver...

Strengths: Clarity of sound - both receiving and sending is first class.

Weakness: Terrible fit into the ear.

I very much appreciate the sound quality, as did those I called using the jawbone. It is noticeably better than other bluetooth headsets. The problem, which to me is significant, is that none of the supplied, sized rubber ear pieces actually extend into the ear when worn with the over the ear harness. Even when I jam the ear piece into my ear it always pops out. That means that to hear effectively I must hold the earpiece to stay in my ear, which completely defeats the point of "handsfree" - especially important when I am driving. What would cure this is probably a combination of a different over-ear harness, with a longer ear channel capped by a rubber piece that fits snugly and comfortably in the ear - like what Sony and Shure use. A pity about the fit, because the sound is wonderful.

I use my Jawbone all the time. I operate my tractor, riding mower, while driving, doing yard work, building houses, and I could go on and on but I wont. At first I had the same problem you are having until I learned to put the Jawbone on and in my ear. The way I do it is to hock the ear loop over my ear then while pulling down slightly I wiggle the ear bud into my ear canal until it feel secure. You may have to try both size ear loops with each ear bud to find the right combination for your ear but once you do I am sure you will be very happy with the fit. I hope this helps you with fitting your Jawbone to your ear.

Expensive and marginally better

Strengths: -Unique look -Comes with multiple earloops and adapters to customise fit

Weakness: -Marginally better sound quality considering price -Difficult to fit properly -Heavy and insecure feeling

I purchased this based on the recommendation of my brother who uses it almost constantly. Considering the price I do not notice a significant improvement over the sound of the much less expensive ($22) and more comfortable Plantronics unit that this was meant to replace. It also took well over an hour trying to find the magic combination of earloop and adapter to fit and after it was fitted about as good as I could get it, including some slight twisting and bending of the wire earloop it still felt insecure and the rubber adapter that fits into the ear canal did not provide a good sound seal. The problem is compounded by the fact that the earloop is lightly spring loaded to press the sensor against your cheek but this has the side effect of tending to pull the adapter out of the ear. This is likely the reason that I feel the sound quality is not what it should be for the price. Additionally, the material that the earloop is made of is very stiff and apparently a bit brittle since one of the earloops broke near the end when trying to fit it. I am going to attempt to fit the earloop a little better than the fit that I have now and give it another chance but it would be better if the earloop was of more malleable material to allow the user to fit the loop better since, as they note, everyone's ears are different. On a usability note, my old headset made a sound when you lost signal, the Jawbone doesn't seem to do that. I found that particular feature of my old headset very convenient and miss it on this one.

Jawbone = WOW!!!

Strengths: Noise cancellation technology is the best. Stylish look. Excellent call quality. I don't have to raise my voice to talk!

Weakness: Talk button is sometimes hard to press. Can't change the volume unless you're actually connected to a call. There are no seperate buttons for volume increase/decrease. Cycles from low to high.

This is my third Bluetooth headset, and is by far the best I've used. Let me first say that I have put the Jawbone's noise-cancellation to the test and it passed really well. I have talked to people and left long voice mails that I could listen to and I was amazed. I have talked on this: next to a busy highway, while vacuuming, watching television, next to my car's horn as it was blaring, while talking into the fan of a noisy central air unit(with my face one inch from the case while it was running), and a bunch of other places. The thing that I do notice is that when you are talking over a particularly loud/higher pitched noise,(especially vacuuming) my words are understandable, but has a "fuzzy" sound to it. Also, while watching television, the television can be heard in the background at lower levels.
The true test, though, was talking to my mother and friends on the headset inches away from a busy road during rush hour. They did not notice any traffic noise, even after I pointed it out to them. I do not know if the headset has some sort of noise cancellation for the earpiece as well, because I had no problem understanding them. Usually, I'd walk about 50 ft. from the road and have to press the earpiece to my ear and plug the other one just to kind-of hear them, and then they couldn't understand me well and I'd just end up switching to the headset. I don't even have the Jawbone's volume at the highest setting. Wind noise isn't much of a problem. In my experience, most of it gets cancelled out.
Even in a quiet room, I would have to speak louder than normal to be heard well. When I talk to them on my Jawbone they typically can't tell that I'm on a headset.
The headset has a nice look and feel to it. I have larger ears, but my canals don't fit the typical round earbuds that many headsets use, which cause discomfort. Thankfully, this comes with different shaped earpieces with one that fits perfectly in my ear. This also weighs slightly more than my previous headset, but the distribution of the weight across the cheek makes it feel lighter. Oftentimes, I would have to take out my old headset after talking on it for 20 minutes because it felt uncomfortable and heavy. With the Jawbone, I've spent 4 hours talking with it and not had any discomfort.
This is by far the best headset I've ever used. I've seen this priced as low as $69 at some online stores. Which is quite a value if you can find it. After using my Jawbone, even at $120 I think it's worth the money. I normally don't rave about products, but this one has been just fantastic!

DOA :( Cautiously select the merchant you choose.

Strengths: Not sure it was broken when I received it.

Weakness: Not sure b/c I got a defective unit.

I would not question the Jawbone so much as I would the merchant. I don't think this merchant sells brand new unopened products. I believe this Jawbone was used to some degree. I don't spend $100 on something to have it arrive in nonworking order. I don't recommend this merchant, can't really tell you about the product. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Great looking - fantasic sound with BlackBerry Pearl...

Strengths: The best headset I have ever used for sound quality, clarity, and loudness. Shields out background noises. Good looking.

Weakness: Terrible fit on ear even with multiple ear pieces/buds. Proprietary charger means having to haul around TWO at home, work, and in the car.

I have had a cell phone since 1992, but wouldn't use a headset until the BT models came out. I have own several Motorola's, all top-of-the line, and they couldn't come close, even when paired with Moto phones, to the Jawbone in sound quality. It gets loud enough and yet is still clear. It isn't perfect by far...getting it on your ear is a major pain; it isn't a headset you can just slide on with one hand in a hurry. Once on, it isn't bad. I hate the charger...now I have to have TWO chargers everywhere, one for the phone and one for the headset; and they don't even offer a car charger yet - the place you would use it the most? The buttons are hidden, but that sometimes makes it difficult to push. And there appears to be no way to put one call on hold and answer an incoming call via the headset. I don't want my negative comments to discourage you because I think the most important purpose of a headset is the sound (and to look cool, ok, I said it) and for that it is top-notch. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fit and charger.

Good but....

Strengths: Functionally superior. Great sound. Callers can hear me with my window down while driving.

Weakness: Terreble design. The black peice on the end broke of the first time trying to take it out of the charger. I have had several friends experience the same thing. It still works but it look terrible.

I like the look but is it very poor quality from a manufacturing stand point. very dissappointed. Functionally however, it is top notch. I bet they have seen a lot of returns due to this design problem.

Jawbone

Strengths: Ambient noise suppression technology really does work well! It's a terrific product.

Weakness: Sometimes difficult to get on the ear and get a good fit.

The Jawbone is a product that surprised me with its performance: It actually DOES what it says it will do. The noise suppression technology provides for very good sound on the receiver's end, with no background noise interference, even in very noisy environments, like street traffic or crowded places.
It sometimes is difficult to fit on the ear, so the ear clip design could be improved.
But its sound performance is five-star worthy.

God, I wish I could return this thing for a refund

Strengths: Looks cool

Weakness: Extremely poor sound quality. And if you don't hold it next to your cheek, it's almost worthless.

Every single person I have talked to through this headset complains about its poor audio quality. Many of them have asked me to get off the headset and talk through my phone. All of them say roughly the same thing: It sounds you're gargling at the bottom of a barrel.

After listening to the demo video on Jawbone's website, I've come to the conclusion that this gargling quality is inherent in the product.

Yes, the sound cancellation technology is incredible. But since I don't work at a construction site, I'm better off with my old Motorola H700.

For this price, no headset should be this cantankerous.

My deepest regret is that I threw away the packaging. Otherwise, I would return this for a refund.

Jawbone Wireless Headset

Strengths: Great look, long talk time, and easy to set up, good volume

Weakness: earpiece doesn't like to fit great in the ear

Overall I really enjoy this product. The construction makes the product not only look great but also gives you the sense of a quality product, not a cheap piece of plastic. The included ear buds may not fit everyone's ear but with a little modification they fit great.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Silver...

Strengths: Easy to use; charges from PC

Weakness: Cover for connector sometimes comes off unexpectedly. Where to store while not in use.

Jawbone works as designed. It is an improvement over the previous headset I owned. I especially like how easily it paired with my devices. The distinctive shape is easily recognized.

Jawbone Bluetooth

Strengths: Ease of use

Weakness: Users Guide

I received the Jawbone and received the users guide of a half page xeroxed copy of a quick guide. I had to go online to print out the full users guide. Once I knew how to charge, answer, etc, the unit is Wonderful. I highly recommend.

Very Poor Quality

Strengths: Basic bluetooth sounds good

Weakness: Falls apart in to pieces with time. Noise cancelation sounds terrible and does not work in most sityations

I purchased this unit 1 year ago and have plenty of experience with it. Initially when I opened the box it was very impressive. 4 ear loops 4 snap on ear pieces looked like it was made out of metal. Claimed outstanding noise reduction and great battery life + a fancy looking charger. Once I began using it I found that after 2 days the ear loop spring gets loose and the ear piece starts swinging wildly on your ear. In another week the snap-on ear piece fell off and got lost, ok so I have 3 more, now I know why, but they are all different size. After a year the ear loop broke, ok I have 3 more, but they are all different size and different ear. The charger pulled the back off the unit after about 6 month and I was just being real careful with it since then making sure the guts don’t fall out. But wait, at least I have great noise reduction technology, which basically sounds like a metallic squeaky voice – ditto that. Only good news is that it sounds pretty good as a basic headset thought a little quiet.. Final opinion a big waste of $120 + tax.

Jawbone

Strengths: Good audio - even in wind.

Weakness: Has problems with Verizon Palm 700wx staying connected with Bluetooth.

I have checked and I have the latest patch for the Palm 700WX but I still have problems staying connected. I hear the 3 tones indicating that the connection has dropped. Sometimes a call would come in and the connection to the Bluetooth headset is noisy. If I take off the Jawbone to talk direct on the phone - the audio problem goes away. When I talked to tech support, they said that there were other patches coming out but I have not seen anything higher.

The Bluetooth signal stregth between the headset and the cell phone seems to vary. At times I cannot get more than about 5 - 10 feet away when the sound gets bad.

I will be seeking a replacement unit to see if that fixes the problem.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Strengths: Good SNR - Signal to Noice ratio. Overall a good product.

Weakness: Optional ear plugs should include smaller size as well. On/off switch a little cumbersome

Solid product overall - some ergonomics improvement will help it better fit folks of asian (in general smaller) bone structure!

Jawbone Headset - silver

Strengths: Light weight, excellent sound quality.

Weakness: NOT YET

Great product, tried different one, they were less efficient, every time called somebody, they had problem to hear me well, always surrounding noise was a problem, I consider it a very good product, obviously I did not try all of them and I can’t say “THE” best, but this it very good, some time I don’t fell at all unless somebody calls me, paring is very easy just follow the instruction, seller (Only Original) was very professional and I recommend, so, what else should I say, just go for it.

Jawbone

Strengths: Very good reception, it does what is says it does. Remember, the person you call gets the clear reception.

Weakness: None.

I received this item brand new. Out of the box, it would not work. Called Aliph and they sent me a new charger cord, free of charge. That was the problem. It now works perfectly, I can drive around in my convertible with the top down and make phone calls with perfect clarity.

The most overrated bluetooth headset on the net

Strengths: Great incoming and outgoing sound

Weakness: Terrible Fit. Earpiece lasted a week. Too many plastic pieces are recipe for disaster.

Great Sound while it lasted. The earpiece was a chore to get on each time. Then after a week the earpiece kept coming apart...set completely broke when I tried to replace the hook.

Jawbone Headset

Strengths: sound quality is good. sound reduction is great.

Weakness: Feels loose on ear. Earbuds come off easily

I was really looking forward to getting this product, but was disappointed in the fit to my ear. Even with the different size earbuds and earloops it still feels loose. I am also disappointed with the fact that the earbuds can come off so easily. I am planning on replacing it with the Jabra Gel earbuds. other reviewers say they work well.

Fits the jawbone, but not the ear-bone.

Strengths: Light, attractive, easy to charge, volume control, strength of bt connection.

Weakness: Custom fit

Shocking to me that such a well designed and technically advanced headset would have this enormous deficiency. It does not fit well. I read dozens of reviews before buying it, but didn't really believe it when I read others making the same claim. Although it does come with multiple ear loops and ear drum pieces, none of these really fit well. I thought the problem was my own, but after speaking to 7 or 8 other jawbone owners, they ALL said the same thing. Many simply put the jawbone to rest in a desk drawer in favor of another better-fitting, but lower-performing headset. The ones still using the headset bought an eargel from another manufactured and jammed it on to a mediocre fit. I did the latter. So, it is better, but not perfect.
Seems that the fit is the attention to detail Aliph forgot about. Let's hope they come out with something soon so that their competitors don't have to fix a Aliph's product and make Aliph seem incapable of actually implementing a whole product solution.

Excellent Noise Canceling Capabilities

Strengths: I have used it driving on a noisy freeway with the windows down and can both clearly hear the other party and they can clearly understand my voise.

Weakness: It would be nice if it could be made a smaller however this is not a major issue.

The unit has excellent noise canceling features and the charge time is excellent too. It is the third unit I have tried and is far superior to the others. Now if they could make it a little smaller in size it would be fantastic.

Jawbone Headset

Strengths: Comfortable, Noise reduction works as well as advertised

Weakness: Took a longer on the first charge than the instructions said but was fine after that.

Ordered this as a present for my wife. It works as advertised. She's tried it in her car at her work next to a flow hood. Both are noisy backgrounds to talk on a phone. Works like a charm. He voice is always clear. Occasionally there is a water fall noise but she remains clear. Having driven and had to turn off my radio and close my windows to answer the phone this makes things easier.

Worth the money for any serious user!

Strengths: Best in the market at cutting out road/people noise. Stays in your ear better than most and with the least amount of discomfort.

Weakness: Person on other end cannot hear you at all when it's windy outside. Battery dies quickly if it remains on 24/7. If people talk too loudly, it hurts on your end. If you talk too loudly, they get feedba

I and three other people in my family now all have the Jawbone headsets. The other three have tried numerous headsets that are on the market. They all travel in their vehicles and are in very noisy restaurants and stores when talking on their phones. The Jawbone is THE best at cutting down all that peripheral noise. My mom can be in Starbucks with the music blaring and people shouting, and I can barely hear a thing. My dad can be on his 16-wheeler truck, and I hear little road noise. The biggest con is that if you're wearing it outside and it's windy, the person on the other end cannot hear you. That is quite frustrating, though not enough to not buy it. It IS pricey but well worth it! The best thing is, if you have any trouble with the earbuds or anything, you just call Jawbone and they send you out a replacement.

Excellent headset

Strengths: Noise cancellation technology is excellent. Very comfortable with a bit of adjustment. Many fittings to choose from to conform to your ear. Great talk time, will last as long as my phone (SE K55i).

Weakness: Sound quality slightly below average, but clear. Some tones very loud, but tolerable.

This product has proven extremely useful in many noisy environments. I can be in my car listening to music with the window down without hearing complaints from the other end about any interference. Overall I would rate this 4

Jawbone is a disappointment

Strengths: Blocks some of the ambient noise.

Weakness: Doesn't perform as promised.

On a windy day, the other party has trouble hearing the conversation. It is definitely not as effective as the product advertisement indicates. I find it rather difficult to hear the other party even when the volume is turned up to the max level. I don't have my headset on my ear constantly but rather keep it in a shirt pocket. Placing the headset on my ear is cumbersome and is rather uncomfortable to wear. When pushing the button on the headset to end a call it activates the voice dialing program on a Blackberry Curve, which is very annoying. Haven't found a way to prevent this at this time. REM, the Blackberry manufacturer, doesn't know why this happens or how to prevent it.

Jawbone

Strengths: Everything about it

Weakness: None yet

I owned the Jabra before. I thought it was good but I did get alot of ambient noise. People always thought I was on a speaker phone, and I had ocasional static. So far I have not had any of these with the Jawbone. I highly recommend one to anyone that talks alot on the phone.

Great Headset for use with I-Phone

Strengths: Great noise reduction--people can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t tell I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m on a headset. Good battery life. Pairs easily to my i-Phone. First headset I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve owned that had sufficient sound vol

Weakness: Not completely tight against my ear--but still better than any other headset I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve tried.

After trying several different headsets (Motorola, Jabra), I finally decided to try the Jawbone after I was talking to a friend using his jawbone at an airport and I couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t tell he was on a headset or in a busy airport. This is a headset I can finally use in the car where I can hear the entire conversation and people don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t complain about sound quality and background noise. Linking to the i-Phone was very straight forward with no compatibility issues. This is the first headset that I am truly happy with. Only minor issue is fit against my ear, but I haven\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t yet tried all of the earbuds that come with the unit to check for a better fit.

Disappointing

Strengths: Works great. Good volume. Noise cancellation great.

Weakness: Buttons a little hard to use. Reliability poor.

I bought 2 of these and they both worked great until they just stopped working. Their reliability is questionable. The first one I got the earpiece fell off inexplicably and it stopped functioning even after I glued it back on. The plastic hooks holding the earpiece to the device just broke off. The second one I bought just stopped working. My cell phone just could not communicate with it. No matter what I did I couldn't pair up with it again. I had the first one for about 3 months before it broke and the second one only for about a week.

Excellent Product

Strengths: I have been in front of jack hammers and Semi-truck sized shedders and this ear piece perfoms perfectly

Weakness: I had to bend the ear hooks to fit my ears a bit. Nothing major and I would still buy this product if I knew before purchasing.

I was very happy with the condition and operation of this product. I have tried using several other ear pieces and I talk on my phone more than 10,000 min per month. I used to swear by Plantronics but this product is far superior. I also read in Popular Science that this unit uses the same noise cancellation as the helocopter and other aircraft that our military pilots use in their headsets.

Jawbone

Strengths: loud and clear

Weakness: earpiece has to be changed to switch from one ear to the other

Works very well. I deal with senior citizens and they seem to hear me better with this headset than with others I've used. Not the most confortable, but OK. The ear piece is different for right and left. It would be better if I could just move it to the other ear. Instead I have to change the earpiece to make the switch.

Looks great, works great.

Strengths: Small, crisp looking, lightweight, excellent sound & noise reduction.

Weakness: No replaceable battery

I have really enjoyed this Bluetooth. People tell me they can't tell I'm wireless, or even on a cell phone.

The only problem I had was in pairing it with the phone. A small detail was listed on the box, but not in the instructions. Needs to be corrected.

I Love Mine!!!

Strengths: Holds a charge for D-A-Y-S! Easy to operate. Can hear incoming calls clear as a bell. Am told people can hear me fairly well on the other end.

Weakness: Fits my ear better than the other 5 devices I've tried...and at least it stays on my ear and doesn't fall off when I turn my head. But, it is still a little uncomfortable.

In spite of the fact that there are 2 options for the ear hook and 4 for the ear bud, I just can't come up with a combination that really fits my ear comfortably. Other than that, it is without a doubt the best bluetooth device I've ever owned ... or even tried! Outstanding reception, and it really does filter out a lot of external noise! How do they do that????!!!

Jawbone-works exactly as advertised

Strengths: Unbeatable clarity

Weakness: Size

Crystal clear sound. Cancels background noise superbly. The only drawback is its size but it is still light and comfortable. A couple weeks later I bought one for my future mother-in-law

Great...almost there!

Strengths: The BEST noise canceling, very stylish, great bluetooth range

Weakness: Horrible against wind, difficult to put on, too bulky for pocket, uncomfortable ear gel

I've owned the Jabra BT500, BT500V & JX10, Plantronics 610, 655 & 665, Tekkeon ezTalker mini, ezTalker Digital (in no particular order). I use the Jawbone with my BlackBerry Curve. I've had nightmares using Bluetooth headsets with the 8700C. However, the combination of the Jawbone and Curve is a dream to use. The two NEVER disconnect from each other.

The Jawbone is in a class of its own when it comes to noise canceling. I live in NYC and frequent noisy Midtown Manhattan, so I decided to give this puppy a try considering I wasn't able to carry on a conversation with the other headsets. I am astounded by its capabilities. I can speak in a less than normal tone and still be heard walking the streets of Midtown amidst the buses, taxi's and ambulances. I can have the music at 35% volume in my car and still be heard without having to strain. The caller hears very little meanwhile the radio is prominently playing. The same with the bus - it cancels out the engine noise and blaring AC/Heat.

I have no complaints about battery life. The adaptor could use a makeover because it looks cheap and a cradle adaptor would be nice a nice touch.

My gripes - ear gel is uncomfortable after 30-40 minutes in the ear. I have to take it out of my ear at that point and just let it hang from its hook - put it back in when I get a call. I've tried the other gels but they are either too big or too small. I saw from another review that the Jabra ear gels work well with the Jawbone. (I'll have to try that.) My second gripe is that the Jawbone is horrible against wind. The caller WILL NOT be able to hear you AT ALL. Noise canceling does not work in this department. Thirdly, its too bulky to pocket. I feel like I'm going to break the ear hook.

The Jawbone is raises the standards of noise canceling by many bars! I look forward to their future models which will hopefully be more comfortable and pocket-able.

Careful with charger adapter, echo when paired with...

Strengths: Noise cancelling is unparalleled. Quickly charges and looks really "cool"

Weakness: Hard to find the buttons on the ear. Charger adapter clicks on pretty tight, breaks easy. Bad echo when paired with Verizon PN-820

Had a great experience with the headset until tried to remove the charger adapter from the headset. The back broke right off. Perhaps more instruction or easy to remove adapter would be better. After using for awhile the standby time/talk time was great, the unit looked cool, and the noise cancelling was awesome. However, when I paired it with a PN-820 it had a horrible echo and I couldn't easily find the volume controls/buttons on the earpiece without pulling it off my ear. The phone I paired it with just didn't work well, so I returned for Plantronics 655 (light and easily fits in ear without hook)

Jawbone headset

Strengths: great look. very long bat life. most people can't tell i'm using a headset. effective at cutting out background noise.

Weakness: wish the volume could be louder. with the headset and phone turned all the way up, sometimes difficult to hear non loud talkers.

The jaw bone head set is one of the better head sets i have used. I like the design and the many different ear attachments that are supplied. i find it difficult to put on quickly, but once it is on, it stays on.

Jawbone Headset

Strengths: Noise cancellation is great. Sleek look. Great talk time.

Weakness: It is difficult to get it on your ear one handed. Comfort and fit require some bending of the earloop. Those hidden buttons are annoyingly hard to find sometimes. Lack of a real volume control.

Several reviews of this product state that the noise cancellation doesn't work or that it is difficult to hear. Both of these problems are fixed if the headset is fitted properly (as per the directions) in the ear and with the tip firmly on your jawbone. Adjusting the headset to get that fit does take some patience and a little earloop torquing, but it is well worth it.

The "sleek" factor makes this a very attractive headset, but finding those buttons when in a hurry can be a real problem.

The lack of real volume control is more of an annoyance than a real problem.

On the note of annoyances: it does have a rather ridiculous charging plug. At a time when nearly everyone else is moving to the standard mini-USB device plug, they went for a big, clunky, proprietary plug on the headset and a standard USB plug on the charger end. This allows you to charge it with a wall plug (supplied) or a notebook/PC/etc, but a standard plug on the device end would mean one less cord I'd have to carry.

Overall, it takes some getting used to, it requires some tinkering to get right, and a few design features could have been better. However, it's one "claim to fame" feature (noise cancellation) works fantastically (when you wear it correctly).

I'd have no trouble recommending it to someone.
I'd buy another one if I broke this one.
I can't wait for version 2.0. It should be spectacular.

Strengths: Excellent sound quality and comfort

Weakness: No call waiting feature Volume is tough to change

The headset has a very cool design and yet is very functional and comfortable. My only complaints are the lack of a call waiting feature and the volume control. Sound quality is generally excellent. Definitely would recommend.

Jawbone is worth the extra in my opinion.

Strengths: very clear, on both ends. Quick Connects (on my phone at least and motorola razor) and instantly ready for use. Battery life is pretty good too.

Weakness: um price

I had a cheapo 23 dollar bluetooth set before, only because i lose them so i dont invest into expensive sets. I figured theyre ALL the same and do the same. Jawbone, is honestly perhaps worth the extra if youre the type that doesnt lose small things. I tested it out and the Jawbone recognizes and connects with phones partically INSTANTLY with my Samsung A90 and my father

A good quality headset

Strengths: Sound clarity, ease of use, stays connected

Weakness: A bit bulky. I did not experience the loose fit or difficulty over the ear as some other users have identified

I'm very happy with the purchase. The sound quality is the best I've owned both in receiving calls and for callers to hear me. Seems much better for callers to hear me when I'm in the car or out on a windy day. It seemed a bit on the expensive side so I was hesitant at first, but it is a good buy if you want function. If you want style, you might consider something newer.

Aliph Jawbone rocks!

Strengths: This headset is very designed. I tested it with my niece at a very noisy restaurant bar, and she came through loud and clear with very little background noise.

Weakness: Tried all the ear loops and buds combination but could not find a perfectly snug fit. Aliph needs to make earbuds that's in-the-ear like the ones from Shure or other professional headphones companies?

Overall it is a pleasure to use. In CA, with the upcoming law enforcing handsfree cell phone usage while driving, this headset is one of the best. Everyone needs to take a look at Jawbone before getting a cheapo headset being sold at CostCo, Fry's or Sam's Club. Name brand at a super low price does not a good bluetooth headset make.

Jawbone

Strengths: Good sound quality. Please do not realize I am on a bluetooth device.

Weakness: Somethimes loses its connection to the Smartphone. Not sure if it is a Jawbone problem or a Smartphone problem

This is an excellent product and I would purchase it again if necessary. The company provides multiple ways to connect to your ear for better comfort. It is easy to cofigure to use with a Treo smartphone.

Jawbone - Silver and Black

Strengths: Sound clarity and noise filtering is awesome.

Weakness: Kind of difficult to put it on.

Man, I got to tell you, this is the best bluetooth headset that I've ever owned. It's unique look makes it way more attractive than the other bluetooth devices. I recommend buying this product. Once you find the earpiece that is more comfortable to fit in your ear then there will be no problem. I hardly notice it on. I will give you a update after 30 days.

Awesome noise shield

Strengths: Noise Shield, stylish, comfortable on normal to big ears.

Weakness: Expensive, not made for tiny to small ears. Sound quality is so so to standard headset by comparison.

The product worked as advertised, the noise shield is the best in the market in my opinion. However, my girlfriend still complaints that she can't hear me due to low volume on initial conversation, but 5-10seconds later she can hear me better. I think it is because of the volume auto adjustment software didn't kick in fast enough. The volume on my receiving end is a bit low to my taste even when I've set it to max (could be ear problems). All in all, it works like a bluetooth headset with adv. noise shield feature. I give it a 4.5

Ultimate Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Does exactly what Aliph says it does.

Weakness: Big compared to some.

Awesome product. I use it at work, and I work on heavy, loud, equipment. I can talk on the phone about 10-15 feet away from the equipment and people hear me fine thanks to the Jawbone. I can't stand any closer b/c then I can't hear anything. But it actually does what it is advertised to do, unlike a lot of bluetooth headsets.

Jawbone wireless cell phone headset

Strengths: Wired ear loop. I had the nXZEN from Gennum Corp prior, their plastic ear loop broke all the time, this is a refreshing relief to know I will not have to loose the use of my headset for a design flaw.

Weakness: Sometimes takes alittle extra push to answer a call on the headset, but nothing big deal.

Excellent, sound is great. I really like this headset, have been searching for something worth it's investment, this is it. It fits on ear easily and rarely felt it. Would definitely recommend.

The best bluetooth device I have owned

Strengths: Noise cancellation, range, voice recognition, appearance

Weakness: Ear piece fit

Pluses. This is the best blue tooth device I have owned - and I have drawer full of dead ones to prove it. The noise cancellation works as advertised though the sound on the user end is a little "tinny", but acceptable. I have mine paired with a Blackberry 8830 and it is a perfect match. For whatever reason, the voice recognition works better than any other Bluetooth device I have used.

Minuses. The raised "button" that you push to accept and disconnect calls is not nearly large enough to find without running your fingers up and down the device in a frantic search while trying to answer an incoming call. I solved this problem by placing a small dot of clear epoxy on top of the "button" and I can now easily find the spot. The one really nagging complaint are the ear buds/ear loop. For as much engineering as obviously went into the inner workings of the device I would have thought they would have spent more time on the fit and comfort of the ear loop/ear buds - but unfortunately they did not. The ear loop is a daily lesson in patience to get it to fit right and I have tried every one of the earbuds they supplied and each one has its own draw back. I even tried the Jabra eargels one other reviewer recommended and I could not get them to stay on the device.

In summarry, even with the shortfalls I have listed I would still highly recommend the Jawbone. It comes closest to what I have expected from all the Bluetooth devices I have owned to date.

Jawbone for the ear.

Strengths: Easy to use.

Weakness: Ear comfort.

Works fine as I can tell though this is the only headset I've ever purchased. So I don't have anything to compare it to. I like that it has a lot of different ear pieces to help you try and find a good fit, though none seem to fit my ear perfectly as it still tends to slip out every once in a while. Plus I have a heck of a time slipping the ear clip onto my ear. Maybe just takes practice. As far as function goes, very simple to use.

Best earpiece I've ever owned

Strengths: * Great sound clarity * Good battery life

Weakness: * slightly uncomfortable (but that can be fixed)

I am one who usually does an insane amount of research on products before buying them, and this was no different. CNET and PC Magazine both gave this headset some of the highest ratings I've seen and I find their reviews to be fairly accurate. The sound clarity / noise canceling seems to work great. Everyone I've spoken to can hear me clearly, even in the car. This includes my older grandma had difficulty hearing me using my previous headsets. While in the car home yesterday, my wife said it sounded like I was calling her from the house. That's amazing considering the sunroof was open and the radio was on (at a low volume).

As far as hearing others speak to you, this headset also performed very well. Though at times it would have been nice to have 1 slightly higher volume level, you can still very clearly hear what people are saying, even more so than if you just used your cellphone on its own.

As for the comfort, honestly it's not the most comfortable earpiece you can buy but it's not that bad either. It comes with a few different ear buds and I was able to find one that fits well however I took the advice of one of the other reviewers and ordered the Jabra ear-bud gels for $5 to see if that makes it more comfortable. Even if they don't this ear piece is fine for your average 30-45 minute call. It's just not something I would want in my ear for the entire day. I'm not sure if the gels will change that.

In the end, I would very highly recommend this product. I was hesitant to buy it since I never heard of the company, but after a few days I've been so impressed with the product that I have to recommend it.

good but very uncomfortable

Strengths: it overrides the noise "when the noise cancelation works"

Weakness: Very uncomfortable on the ear, very hard to put around the ear

somehow the noise cancellation does not work all the time and sometimes people still tell me that they cant hear me clear enough, maybe it is a bluetooth issue and not a noise cancel issue

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Strengths: Great voice quality on both sides of the conversation.

Weakness: Ear loop tends to pull ear plug out of ear requiring frequent adjustment.

Overall, the best headset in terms of comfort and ability to have a conversation (after all isn't that why we use a headset). Easy to synch with Palm Treo.

Very Pleased

Strengths: call quality - inbound and outbound, easy to pair with BlackBerry 8730.

Weakness: the "default" ringtone is strange - I may actually have to read the manual to change it

I was expecting a headset with good quality that was a pain to comfortably fit. I used the earpiece at a high school football game today - something I could not do with my Motorola 850. It was easier to fit than I expected.

Strengths: Good Volume, Great noise cancellation, comfortable and fully adjustable with the wireframe ear wrap

Weakness: Needs a wider variety of earpiece forms

Jawbone lives up to all the hype!

Strengths: Comfort Noise-cancellation technology Sleek design

Weakness: None thus far

The Jawbone is by far the best Bluetooth headset ever to be released. It's sleek, sexy silver and black design give it a sharp look. It comes with 4 interchangeable earbuds, and earhooks so you can best fit it to your ear. It is also compatible with the Jabra Eargels, so you can wear it standalone without the earhook.

By far the best part about the Jawbone is the military grade noise cancellation technology. It works off of a little sensor that rests against your cheek, (essentially your jaw, hence the name jawbone) and as your talk, it associates that movement with the sound of your voice and cancels out all background noise.

Also featuring the ability to redial the last call made, answer, and end calls, and adjust the volume right from the headset.

By far the best BT headset on the market today!

Jaw Bone

Strengths: Noise cancelling is better than average. Style, and battery life.

Weakness: Bulky, small buttons, and hard to fit.

Exceptional piece of equipment. Good battery life, and pretty good noise cancelling although I was hoping for more. I could easily carry on a conversation with the radio blasting and no one knew the better. When I tested it against an open window.. No dice.. It worked but not up to my expectations. The earbuds are not well made although there was an assortment. Overall its worth buying.. Some short comings, but what do you expect....nothings perfect.

Love this headset

Strengths: Noise canceling seems to work amazingly well. Works seamlessly with my iPhone. Best bluetooth headset I've used. Great quality of call and connection to the phone hasn't dropped on me once!

Weakness: None of the ear pieces really fit for me-- all are a bit too big. My friends have no trouble with this. The headset still stays on, but after a long call, I feel a slight discomfort.

I would recommend this headset. I actually LOVE it. Comes with a variety of ear loops (standard works fine for me) and ear pieces (5 sizes). Am waiting for jawbone to come out with some smaller ear piece sizes. The unit holds a good charge, is easy to use, and the call quality (esp for a bluetooth headset) can't be beat. Have 3 friends with this headset and they all rave about it too.

Worth the price!

Jawbone

Strengths: Noise shield works as advertised.

Weakness: Does not fit securely on ear. Loop and earbud system does not seem to work well. Does not work at all in the wind.

This product works as advertised. I've had no complaints from callers as with other headsets after using in airports, outside, near compressors, etc. as long as it hasn't been windy. The 2 downsides are the fit and the fact that it does not work at all in the wind. Callers can't hear if wind is blowing across the side of the unit. The fit needs to be micro-adjusted, and still (at least with me) doesn't stay on my ear comfortably for long periods.

sweet headset

Strengths: sound, very loud, noise is abated somewhat

Weakness: fit, fragile metal earloop

Not quite convinced this is "military grade" noise cancelation, but it is the best headset i have ever used. It paired with my t-mobile dash with no problems, works great in the car, my caller had no car noise from my side with my tests. I already broke one of the metal earloops and lost the cap that goes on the charge leads, but i dont think its necessary. I recommend this headset.

Incredible product

Strengths: Sound quality is amazing, noise canceling works great (maybe not as great as the company's promo video would like you to believe, but great none the less), comfortable

Weakness: to secure earbuds, you can inadvertently cover the speaker "hole" if you don't put it on correctly (the bud will lock into place but it muffles the sound terribly)

I work as a 911 operator and wear a headset 10-12 hours a day, so I am a little picky when it comes to headsets. The Jawbone is INCREDIBLE! I forget that I have it on sometimes it is so light weight. The sound is so clear and crisp. Now only if I can get them approved for use at work!

Decent all-around sound, Horrible fit

Strengths: Good sound quality for the person on the receiving end of the call.

Weakness: 1- Bad sound quality for the person wearing the headset. It sounds as if the other party is always on speaker phone. 2- The fit is awful. I could not get it to work.

As for fit, I am using the Jabra eargels. Although they fit my ear very well, I had to use strong glue for them to stay on the Jawbone. With the eargels, I don't even use the Jawbone ear loop.

Obviously Jawbone needs to work on their fit but doing this neat trick is worth the effort. Other headsets I've used just have too much background noise for the person on the other end of the phone.

Simply the Best!

Strengths: Superior technology and function.

Weakness: Haven't come across any yet.

Better than they say it is. Can drive with windows down and stereo cranked. Even use it at a music concert, the person your talking to will only hear you, and nothing else. It will also noise cancel for you too, so you can hear the person your talking to perfectly clear and not to loud. I am using it with a verizon LG phone with no problems. Instructions were straight forward and establishing a blue tooth connection was simple. The usb cable is convenient for charging. It also plugs into an AC wall outlet. It also fits well and is not too heavy. It comes with 4 different size ear pieces and loops. Happiness is present!

Nice Product with nice features

Strengths: Reception and ease of use

Weakness: Battery Life

Configuring unit to cell phone is very easy and straightforward. Features like the redial and volume control make this a nice companion to your blue-tooth capable phone. Product for the cost is a great buy.

Don't be suckered

Strengths: cool design

Weakness: FIT, FIT, FIT. This may be a great headset with supposedly revolutionary sound canceling, IF you can get the headset to fit properly. ( in 3 weeks I have NOT).

I have read and tried Jabra ear jells,( could not make it work) Silicone ear plugs, Shaped to fit my ear ( still not good) I was in O’hare and there was NO sound canceling, in fact my father said he could hear the announcements better then he could me.
Look this may work for you; maybe it is the shape of my ear. I have found that it will stay put if I am sitting still, but that does not make for a really good experience. My suggestion is not to waste your money. By a Plantornics or a Jabra , save your self the money and do not be frustrated.

My Wife's and I both have Jawbones

Strengths: Filters some back ground noise. Easy to fit to your ear. Time it takes to recharge is good. Volume is good and clear most of time.

Weakness: Continuous talk time - Actual (Wife's 120-180 Minutes) (Mine 80- 120). Weak phone reception both the phone & Jawbone battery diminishes faster than phone alone. Wind is not filtered

My wife and I like the Jawbone very much. We would probably buy another if one broke. We both have used several other Bluetooth headsets and the Jawbone is the best one yet. We have yet to find one that lives up to the MFG claims and this one is no different in that respect. Background noise IS NOT canceled as MFG claims but is reduced to an acceptable level. My wife uses her during long business calls which go for hours and after two to three hours her Jawbone dies. Myself, I talk about 200 to 600 minutes a month and I have to recharge both my phone (Sanyo 8400) and Jawbone at least every other day if not every day and by both MFG claims once a week for the Jawbone and three time a week for the phone should be all I would need in order to keep connected. I am not complaining I'm just stating the facts as I see them. We have got uses to recharging both phones and Jawbones at least every night because if we don't one or both will die when we need it the most. The only complaint we have is with the charger that came with my Jawbone, and as it will recharge both Jawbone, you have to plug and unplug the Jawbone several times to get it to start charging. We know it's the charger because the charger that came with my wife's Jawbone you plug it in and wait for the red light to turn white and my charger you have to get the white light to turn red which it is not always an easy thing to do.

Great sound, bad fit

Strengths: Great noise reduction and sound.

Weakness: Horrible fit. The included earpieces and ear loops just don't do it for me.

Overall this is a good product. Certainly it's sound quality it great because of its amazing noise reduction technology. However, the included earpieces and earloops did not fit my ears at all. I kept feeling like the Jawbone was going to fall out. It was absolutely not secure in my ear. I ended up using Jabra replacement eargels and so far it's worked great.

Hated it

Strengths: Looks cool, pairing was easy, and I love the charger.

Weakness: Difficult to put on, sounds horrible.

I've read other reviews. Some people have great sound, others have poor sound. Paired with my Treo 700p, the sound was awful. Very "tinny" on my end, and those I spoke to told me I sounded like I was "in a tunnel".

I suspect I'd probably get better at it over time, but it was very difficult to put on quickly. I don't wear a headset all day. I pick it up and put it on when the phone rings. I missed a few calls because I couldn't get it around my ear in time.

Pairing was a smooth process. The combo USB/wall charger is fantastic.

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Earset

Strengths: It kept its charge. The selling merchant was great.

Weakness: VERY difficult to press the buttons. Extraordinarily poor reception. Noise cancelling made me think callers had hung up. Did I say poor reception?

Admittedly, I am picky about the various phones I use; especially those that require you to stick them in your ear. The Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset was advertised as being the most scientifically advanced of such machines available, and at more than $100 each I was hopeful. I'm no speing checken and my hearing isn't what it once was; however, I think I hear as well as most people my age (six and a half decades).

After charging overnight and pairing the thing with my phone (easy), I tried a few calls from my office, home, and outside in NYC. Well, placing calls was easy but the reception was terrible. What frustrated me most, though, were the buttons for raising the volume, answering and ending a call. There is no tactile response or any sound - at least I heard none - so your left pressing the suface of this tiny thing all over hoping for a response. I actually had terminated a call and re-dialed it before I gave up on the thing. It didn't matter because I couldn't hear anyhtiong much above the squawk. Don't waaste your money or time.

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Earset

Strengths: Coherent noise removal, much better than other active cancellation headphones

Weakness: A bit big, as is the price tag

The unit certainly performs as well as all the mainstream reviews suggest. The listener on the other end can hear you loud and clear even with all kinds of music and conversations going on in the background. I'm impressed.

Jawbone bluetooth wireless headset

Strengths: great voice quality voice dailing works very well noice cancellation is excellent

Weakness: a bit bulky a little bit difficult to wear especially with one hand

Overall the Jawabone wireless headset worked as advertised. It is a bit bulky and difficult to wear with one hand. If you dont want wear it on all the time and want to wear it quickly after you have received a call, it is a bit tricky.

The Jawbone is wonderful.

Strengths: The Noise Reduction works wonderfully in most cases. Battery life.

Weakness: Wind - it has a problem with wind noise but I have yet to find an earpiece that doesn't

The sound that others report hearing from me is great. The noise reduction does work well except for wind. I can drive the car, have TV on in the background and the other people do not hear any of that.

I can hear people crisp and clear all of the time. The battery lasts longer than all of the other headsets I have used before both in standby and during usage. It gives you ample warning that it needs to be recharged.

It is comfortable to wear although I don't forget I am wearing it.

The button is easy to push and functions very well. You can turn off the noise reduction if you want too for some reason and that is easy to do while wearing it as well.

My advice is to make sure you fit it properly though when you get it. If you don’t take a few minutes to fit it right away people may have a hard time hearing you.

I love the Jawbone for its sound quality but I can't get it to stay on. I purchased the ear gels and they just fall off the ear piece. The ear gel fits great but it won't stay on the Jawbone. Help????

Works great with my motorolla Q

Strengths: no fuzziness. fits well. I can listen to music through the headset.

Weakness: NONE

I read somewhere that this headset did not work well with a Motorola Q. So far, I have had no problems with it at all. Works great, no complaints from callers on the other side.

Sound is great for me and callers agree

Strengths: Very good volume for me and my callers agree sounds like I am speaking normally into my phone

Weakness: For my Treo 650 range isn't the best - I need to keep the phone about a 2 feet away. In the car that isn't too bad but usually keep my phone in my pocket and that will have to change.

Best Bluetooth headset I have owned for my Treo which has been rather picky with other headsets. I am very satisfied with the quality of the volume for me and those I call agree sound quality is very good for them. The earpiece is not that difficult to use as other reviews have stated. Perhaps this is because this isn't as effortless to put on as other headsets. I would agree with that but it isn't that hard to put on once you get used to it and it feels comfortable.

Excellent Highly recommend

Strengths: Out going voice quality is excellent. People comment on how clear it sounds even when I am in noisy environment

Weakness: sound is a bit hallow similar to digital phones. a bit bulky and somewhat difficult to fit.

All in all a terrific headset. Had the Plantronics discovery 640 which is excellent but the Jawbones Noise Shield technology is terrific close call if it is worth the price. Although I have recommended it to several friends and as I got more use to it I like even more.
