This QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe was a treat I decided to have. My laptop already had a camera and the price on this one was very good... It came on a very compact packaging and after installation I was very please how fast it setup to MSN messanger... It gave me more image adjustability options than my current camera. Worth every bit of the price I paid. It is a vert easy to use Webcam provides loads of software and functionality for basic photos, video, and video instant messaging with the perk of 100% interphase with MSN, AOL and yahoo.



Installing the Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe is easy: insert the installation CD and follow the prompts. In addition to MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger, the CD includes drivers and plenty of software: Logitech's QuickCapture app for taking still photos and videos, an application for sending e-mail with video, and Logitech's desktop messenger software, which automatically checks for software updates. You can select the software you'd like to install or install all of the programs at once. All of the software is easy to use and fairly self-explanatory, but other than a quick-setup guide, there's no documentation. However, Logitech does offer support through its Web site and a toll-free phone number.

Good buy

Strengths: Price, size, weight

Weakness: None

One of the best protable web-cams I've tried so far. The image quality for well-illuminated conditions is above average in its class; not so good for twilight conditions but I never heard about consumer-grade web-cams performing well at dusk. Installation is a breeze (as usual for Logitech products), the construction does not look very sturdy but it's expected from portable light-weight cam. I've tried it with couple of online-messengers and have no reprimands so far.

Big things in small packages.

Strengths: Compact. Solid. Decent quality. Strong clip.

Weakness: Not the latest technology (i.e. 2 megapixels).

Not much to say about this except it works good for what I need it for, which is using it with Skype. Easy to install and setup, was using it in no time at all. For the money, after a rebate, there is no better deal on a laptop webcam.

QuickCam Delux Webcam

Strengths: Small, cute, easy to use, teavel case included.

Weakness: Image & sound quality is not much better then STX model

Logitech brand Webcam is great then other brand. QuickCam Deluxe Webcam is very small and cute. Easy instalation CD & Travellig case is also included. Face detection feature is very nice. I am not very much happy because image & sound quality is not good.

Excellet webcam!

Strengths: glass lens, good perfermance under low lights

Weakness: not true high resolution (by interpolation)

Overall this is a very good webcam. Glass lens does make difference on the image quality. Compared with my previous webcam, this one produce much clear picture and overall color is also more accurate. I think the "rightcolor" technology also makes its performace under low light acceptable. Logitech's driver for this webcam is a little bulky, not what I like.

QuickCam Deluxe Webcam

Strengths: easy to use, travel case & instalation CD.

Weakness: poor image & sound quality.

I have 3-4 Logitech brand Webcam. QuickCam Deluxe Webcam is very small and cute but not great. Easy instalation CD & Travellig case is also included. I like Face detection feature. I am not very much happy because image & sound quality is not good. Not expect more in low price

a small cute webcam with decent image quality

Strengths: easy to install and use; cute and stylish appearance; decent image quality; RightLight Technology; small and easy to carry (Free protective travel case)

Weakness: None. What can you expect more at this price?

So far, so good. Nice and clear indoor image resolution, it is easy to install software and easy to use the webcam. RightLight technology works. For the price, it's a decent choice! It is perfect for a 12-inch laptop!

Very good quality images and video, very easy to set up and use, work well even in low light conditions, high quality mic. 1.3 mega pixel camera provides sharp images.

A nice webcam

Strengths: Easy to install, small, good quality

Weakness: none so far

This is a good notebook webcam from logitech. The installation is quite easy. It is small and portable. The quality is pretty good, even in the low light condition. There is a built-in mic, and it can take pictures of 1.3M pixel. Generally, it is a nice webcam for daily use.

nice little webcam

Strengths: image quality

Weakness: the clip is kind of weak

I use this webcam with windows live messenger and it does the job pretty well. The image quality is good enough and I like the blue LED indicactor when the cam is live. Only thing I'm not too happy is the way the cam clips on the laptop. It's too easy to move and I have to adjust it everytime to have a good view.

Great webcam

Strengths: Very clear and sharp... Quality is excellent.. nice cushing padding to avoid scratches to your laptop bigger lens than other notebook cameras.

Weakness: none...

This is a very good product... i have a creative notebook webcam but that cannot be compared to this webcam... logitech products are great and this one just proves that...
Very clear picture... good zoom and good brightness...

Logitech QuickCam Deluxe Webcam for Notebooks

Strengths: Good in low light, Face detection software, size, price, travel case

Weakness: None that I can tell

I use this webcam for video chatting, and it does a good job. There is a nice face detection feature in the software that adjusts the image as you move. It zooms in and out to keep you in the frame as best it can. It seems to work well in lower light conditions, too. The only drawback I've seen is you have to be careful not to press the button on top when adjusting it, or you make take some undesired still images. Overall, I think it is a good webcam for laptops with nice features.

Small, Portable and easy to use WebCam

Strengths: Small, portable, clear video, reasonably priced.

Weakness: None seen till now

I bought this camera about 2 weeks ago to allow video conferencing from India with my family. It works great, and greatly enhances the video communication. I really like that it comes with a travel case, since I normally keep it in my laptop bag. It's very small and portable, which is the best part in it. Was easy to install and it is easy to use. Gives a nice and clear picture. Works very well with Skype, the people at the other end gets a clear and quality picture.

Weakness: 1. image quality is average

I liked this small little webcam, which fits my girl friend's 12 inches laptop very well. The most important thing about it is to easy to carry it on your trip. It has stylish outside. The image quality is average but acceptable. In total, this webcam is a good tradeoff between portability and image quality.

I bought Logitech Quickcam Deluxe camera to use with my notebook and it works great! The image quality is better than my current Creative webcam, especially under low light. The built in microphone is very convenient, so I don't need to connect an extra microphone for chatting. Overall this is a great product from Logitech.
