For Those Who Want The Best

Strengths: - Looks Great - Can Hear Caller Clearly - Caller Can Hear You Perfectly - Great Noise Cancelling Technology - Well Built

Weakness: - No Call Waiting Function - Unique Charging Connection

The Jawbone bluetooth headset is for those who want the best headset you can buy. You can't get any more stylish and the noise cancelling technology works like a charm. It can't block wind or sharp sounds close to the headset, but you can have loud music on in your car and your caller won't hear a thing besides your voice. If you are like me and depend on your voice dialing, then this headset will make you very happy. It understands everything you say with more precision that even the phone itself it seems. The only negatives I can find are that it actually has no ability change calls with call waiting, so you have to use the phone to switch between callers. This can be annoying while driving, since it then does not stick with the whole hands free concept. The other thing is that it uses a unique charging connection. It does not use a standard connection, like a mini or micro USB. It of course comes with a charger, so it causes no issues, but you can't use any existing chargers. It does come with dual charging capabilities though. It comes with the USB charging cord and an AC adapter to plug the USB cord into for charging on the go. The adapter of course then can even be used by any other USB charging cord you may have. It all comes down to whether or not you have the money to spend. If you do, then this is the headset for you.

Great Product

Strengths: Great sound, easy to use, sleek design.

Weakness: Doesn't fit in ear as snuggly as I would like.

Overall I like this product a lot. I wish it fit in my ear better, but other than that I have no complaints. I have recommended this product to friends and family.

Great Sound Can Be Painful

Strengths: Unparalleled clarity of sound, both receiving and outgoing.

Weakness: Ear wire is not comfortable nor especially secure - they do send other ear wires, but they all seem to be exactly the same. Smallest ear bud is too big for small ears and rubs painfully.

Someday, someone will invent a Bluetooth ear piece that both fits comfortably and provides superior sound quality. The Jawbone is amazing as far as sound quality, with great background noise elimination and clear speech reception and transmission. But the ear wire leaves something to be desired, and the hard ear bud rubs my ear raw if I leave it on for too long. Still, overall, this is the best Bluetooth device I've owned, and believe me, I've owned just about all of them!

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Clearest I've had. Easy to use simple touch-located buttons to answer/end calls, change volume. Comfortable and light weight...

Weakness: a little hard to place in ear..ordered the Jabra ear buds which are softer. Interfers a little with glasses.

Use with TMobile Dash w/Windows Mobile. Great technology -syncs with all the WM features: Great voice announcement feature: calls, appointments, emails. Simple charging:like the usb charge option, much handier than having to plug in and has good battery life. Works well in all situations except strong wind, but that is true for any open microphone. Overall the best I've had in cluding the $150 Jabra.

Jawbone is Top of the line !!!

Strengths: Sound Quality, Durability, Looks good, Lightweight, Actual working range between headset and phone, noise reduction.

Weakness: Size (a little bit big and bulkier than most), Earhooks are fairly easy to snap off at insertion point.

I believe that the designer of this product thought everything out very well. It took a little bit of time for me to find the appropriate earhook and earbud setup to suit my needs and in the process of bending an earhook around I did snap one off at the point where you would insert it into the headset, so be carefull not to bend it much at that point. I found that the ear-gels made by Jabra was the best earbud for me and works great with this Jawbone headset too. I was extremely pleased when I got on the phone and placed my first call with it, the other party could not believe that I was actually driving along in my noisy truck which with any headset previous to this one they complained of heavy noise sounding like a wind storm (even with my windows shut). Well with the Jawbone they barely heard any noise with the windows open and no noise with them up. I can actually walk away from my phone and still maintain a clear connection. It was money well spent, no doubt! ***

Excellent Product and Buying Experience

Strengths: Call quality, volume. In ear buds.

Weakness: Ear buds a little too hard. Non-replaceable battery.

This is the earpiece I\\\'ve been looking for. Can hear callers in my noisy car and outside without having to crank the volume to harmful levels. Earpiece stays put altho it takes a bit to learn how to get in on. And the vendor Quack Quack was a breeze to deal with and provided the high quality product and low price I was looking for.

Jawbone Review

Strengths: Noise cancellation qualities. And, it does look good compared to most other such devices. Other functionality is standard.

Weakness: Ear piece has broken off. The ear canal piece easily comes off in my pocket when not in use. Takes overly long, like all other bluetooth devices, to sync with the phone and be truly usable.

From what I can tell, however, this is one of the premium devices in the marketplace. It is, perhaps, that the phones don't implement the bluetooth standard right, but it almost seems as though bluetooth isn't ready for prime time. I am disappointed, but the alternative of holding my phone while I am driving is even less enticing. Yes, I'd buy it again, but...

Good quality for a reasonable price

Strengths: clear connection light weight

Weakness: the fit

The jawbone does what it says and I haven't gotten the complaints from people I talk to like I did using my old ear piece. It does take some time to get it on and it a good position, but it gets the job done. I really only use it when I'm in the car, so the fit is not too annoying.

Great Sound

Strengths: Crisp, clear sound

Weakness: Fitting is a bit loose

Great sounding headset. Very good looking. It is easy to operate. Only complaint is that it does not fit snuggly around my ear. However, it does come with additional earpieces.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Comfort, Noise cancellation, battery life

Weakness: Battery charger, volume key

The Jawbone is my 3rd Bluetooth headset and best I've used to date. Noise cancellation works great in cars and airports without having to mute. Ear buds have 5 shapes to fit most ears with comfort, though they could be a little softer. Ear hangers are comfortable and the unit balances for long wear without discomfort. Volume key takes getting used to.

2 Gripes, 1/ Throw the rubber connector cover (never shown in the sales images) off a bridge. You'll know where you lost it. Seat belts, coat collars and other items can strip it off without notice. 2/ The charger is unique and another cable you have to carry when traveling. Aliph should have used a standard mini-USB cable as I have half a dozen for my camera, phone, GPS, et al. Lose or forget the charger on an overseas trip and you aren't talking more than 6 hours as some countries outlaw cellular use while driving. Hope the next generation is standardized.

Great Headset

Strengths: Great sound quality. Stylish design. Light weight.

Weakness: Battery charger feels like it will break when it is disconnected form the headset

This is a great headset so far. The background noise is almost gone. I talk to my friends on the phone while I am mowing my grass! I had my daughter call my on my home phone will standing in a room next to her radio and I could still hear her clearly. The bos is even nicer than the box that came with my Iphone. I have read many review about how bad the ear clips are but I have not had any propblems with mine so far. I wera my headset in the morning when I run and I have not had any problems with the headsets fit. The headset charger quickly and the USB adapter is great because my Iphone car adapter has a USB plug in it so my house charger is also my car charger. I like this feature alot. This headset repalces my great Plantronics 645 headset. The Plantronics sounds good the Jawbone is the best headset I have ever owned.

Jawbone Technical Support

Strengths: When it works it works well.

Weakness: The charger attachment is easily damaged.

I am very dissatisfied with Jawbone's customer support. I called and submitted my problem. The agent wasn't very friendly and I haven't heard back from them and it's a week later.

I disagree with this review. I've had two problems with my Jawbone and everytime I contacted the CS dept., they replaced my headset no questions asked.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Black...

Strengths: 1. Clarity 2. Blocking background noise

Weakness: 1. Earpiece fitting

I like the clarity and noise blocking. People have no problem hearing me and often don't realize I am on an earpiece and/or out of the office. The earpiece fitting is not the best. The earloops don't work well for me. The earpiece often falls away from the ear canal and has to be repositioned.

Original Jawbone

Strengths: Good sound quality.

Weakness: Ear Loop

The Original Jawbone Ear Look no longer available from manufacture. Discontinued. Custom support will only help if unit is less than a year old. Customer support gives you the runaround. Very poor customer service.

Jawbone Bluetooth

Strengths: Low or no background noise for the party on the other end of your call. Good sound quality in earphone.

Weakness: Ear clip is not secure feeling. Feels like it could fall out anytime.

I have tried all of the included ear clip sizes and cannot find a good match (and no, I don't have cauliflower ears, thank you very much :)) Other than that, it is a great device.

best non-wind noise cancelling?

Strengths: cancels most of the noise, looks pretty cool too

Weakness: big, not the most comfortable bluetooth headset

first of all, I should say this could be the best noise cancelling headset in the market

there are only 2 buttons (hidden) on this headphone, one for turning on the noise cancelling feature and the other for on/off/activate

for those who complains about the mic volume, please make sure the boom is touch your jaw. the thing is, to do this, you need to switch on the right hanger, which will feel quite odd when worn for a long time. the motorola h-700 is much better on this, also smaller. battery life is so-so.

the other complain is about the wind noise, well, it's not doing it, when wind blows directly to the mic, it can't do anything, period.

overall, great!

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Black

Strengths: The voice quality (both incoming and outgoing) is very good.

Weakness: When wearing the headset, it is hard to turn off. The Jawbone must be removed from the ear or press extremely hard against the ear/jaw.

I like the headset. Still trying to get a comfortable fit in the ear. Must be turned off and/or on with the Jawborn off the ear. The one I received must be pressed very hard for the three seconds to turn on/off. Otherwise, I love it.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Excellent noise reduction, works very well in my jeep

Weakness: very poor ear pieces, and interface with ear canal. The bulletin board suggestions about using the jabra gells attached to the Jawbone ear pieces don't work very well.

Excellent Noise reduction, terrible ear pieces and ear canal interface, frequently need to push against my ear to hear well, Jabra ear gells help, excellent technology poor packaging and delivery.

Low quality headset

Strengths: None

Weakness: Poor connection quality

I am using this with a Palm Treo 700wx and the bluetooth connection is full of static even at just a few feet. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Jawbone Review

Strengths: Battery life

Weakness: None found yet

I have been hesitant to purchase any type of "Star Trek" head set but I decided to take the plunge and try the Jawbone. So far it has been great. I am anxious to try it in the field because most of my work will be in the cotton fields of Texas and the wind creates a real problem.

Aliph Jawbone

Strengths: Easy integration with my phone and BlackBerry. Excellent sound. Good fit.

Weakness: No carrying case; can damage easily.

I've been using the headphone for approximately 2 months and have no complaints. It works perfectly. Aliph needs to offer a carrying case since the product can be damaged fairly easily. Otherwise, it works exactly as advertised.

Static and bad fit....getting replacement

Strengths: Can't really list any at the moment. Jawbone will replace unit even if bought elsewhere.

Weakness: Sound quality and fit. Jawbone won't refund unless you buy from their site.

I am exchanging this unit to see if the sound problems go away, but the static on the listener end is very bad. People have had to end our conversation out of frustration. I also cannot hear very well using this headset while I am driving.

The fit is not good, which they say may be causing the sound problem. They provide 2 "earloops" for each ear. Both are too big for me. Other headsets I've tried have fit fine. Jawbone recommends I buy an earloop from another vendor. Other customers must have complained, too. My ear hurt after wearing it for only a short time.

Unit is also larger than you would expect from photos, including the one on Jawbone's website. I'll report back if the replacement unit works properly.

Quite pleased

Strengths: Fantastic noise cancellation to eliminate background noise behind your voice, auto adjustment of earpiece volume based on noise level, general wear comfort

Weakness: difficult to carry around in your pocket safely

Its noise cancellation feature is the real deal.

Volume auto adjustment is usually adequate, although there are times where its loudest isn't quite as loud as I would like.

While not as comfortable and secure as the Plantronics Voyager 510, it is generally comfortable to wear after experimenting to find best combination of fitting components. Definitely better than the Jabra BT800. The spring-loaded wire ear support does fine holding the vibration sensor to your face.

There is no particularly good alternative to carrying it around when not wearing it. Carrying it in your pants pocket can bend the wire support, and the earphone tip occasionally gets twisted off.

Silver Jawbone

Strengths: noise suppression

Weakness: ear loops

Headset is top notch, noise suppression really works. Headset does everything that is advertised. I've had seven different headsets and this is by far the best on the market at this time.

Aliph Jawbone bluetoothheadset

Strengths: deceptively lightweight, very good distance from the phone, no problem connecting to Nokia 6126 or E62, good noise reduction, nice packaging

Weakness: more expensive than other headsets, multiple hook-insert combos to get the best fit, proprietary charging cable,

This headset was as good as I expected though the Noise reduction is a little over-hyped. While it compensates for especially loud noises, it still picks up background conversations clearly. The headset is larger than most but that is mitigated by its stylishness. The indicator lights are white and red as opposed to the customary blue- not a problem, just duly noted.

I like the sound and the overall operation of this headset. I have had Jabra and Cardo units before and this one is better than both of those. I would have like to have had a holster or clip to carry it when it was not in use but it is comfortable enough to wear for 8+ hrs without strain. A small note, I like that the light turns from red to white when charging completes rather than just going off. It makes it easier to locate and remember it when leaving the room. Basically, I would recommend it to my friends.

Jawbone Wireless Cell Phone Headset - Black...

Strengths: easy to set up, great sound, looks good

Weakness: doesn't fit the ear very well despite the four different removable pieces.

Best bluetooth headset I have ever used hands down. I have used a lot of headsets in my life. All have been subpar in quality. This headset actually enhances the quality of the phone. Everyone says they can hear me better.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Strengths: Great Noise reduction

Weakness: Buttons

I have only had it one day but it is very good. I tested it while driving with my windows down. With my prior headset everyone said it was too noisy to hear me. With the Jawbone they didn't even know my windows were down! At home while watching football at a loud volume my girlfriend could hardly hear any of it over the Jawbone. The volume is good. Actually can get too loud for my ear at times which is good because usually these headsets don't go loud enough. The two buttons get a little getting use to, it feels like you might break it by pushing them. But that's probably just in my head. Comfortable as well and I have no problem getting it fit with the ear piece shipped on the item. I'm using it on an iPhone.

Sleek and classy, but too pricey

Strengths: The design is stylish and it has great sound. I can hear the person who is using the bluetooth very clearly.

Weakness: The earpiece may be a bit uncomfortable to wear and there is some echo. Also, it is a bit pricey.

I am bit scared to store this bluetooth because I am afraid to break it if I put it in my pocket. Overall, it is could be a great bluetooth depending on the person and phone using this.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset - Black

Strengths: I can hear the person I am talking to, even in a noisy environment. They can hear me well and without the ambient noise even in the wind. It fits my head/ear. The Black one looks REALLY COOL!

Weakness: Only comes with one charging cable. Only two buttons for all the functions.

I had been on the fence regarding whether or not to purchase this headset for quite some time. I have had 2 different Jabra's and liked them both, and this cost more than either one of them. The shortfall of the Jabra in my opinion is wind noise. The Jawbone deals with this very well. When I am speaking, the wind noise is gone and everyone can year me. When I am not speaking, they can hear some wind noise, but this really only a problem on conference calls and is easily fixed by muting the phone.

I was also concerned that the Jawbone might not be loud enough. No problems here, It is plenty loud and I can hear it even in a relatively noisy environment. And I have not even tried using any of the other 4 ear gels that came with it, I'm just using the one it shipped with.

It is different in that it is an on the ear as opposed to an over/behind the ear as I am used to on the Jabra. I am getting used to it and it feels lighter to me. I am beginning feel that it is more comfortable for long periods of time than my previous units.

So far, I love this headset and would highly recommend it.

Best bluetooth headset for the price

Strengths: Calls are very clear, battery lasts long, looks cool, really cancels noise

Weakness: the earpiece seems flimsy

This is the best bluetooth headset I've ever used. It cancels noise like it says it does. The headset itself is very sleek and sexy with its glossy black finish. The battery lasts pretty long and pairing it up with my Nokia E61i smartphone was a breeze. Definitely get this headset!

Needs to be within 18 inches of phone

Strengths: Looks cool

Weakness: Has to be within 18 inches of phone to get good reception. Also volume needs to go much higher than it does.

I was very excited about this model until I used it. What a pile of crap. Maybe my unit is just defective, but for this kind of money I expect it to work. Now I will have to deal with the manufacturer to try and get it exchanged.
