MAXELL DVD MEDIA

Strengths: Great qualities of disc. High rate of successful burn.

Weakness: Nothing that I knew.

Maxell manufacture high qualities for there dvd media. I have been burning many maxell dvd disc and experience little or no problem. This disc were either group as class A or Class B disc. Highly recommended for their qualities, would purchase this item again.

Maxell 4x DVD-R Single Sided Media - 4.7GB - 50 Pack

Strengths: Very reliable if you can get your hands on the one made in Japan.

Weakness: Expensive dvd-r brand

The one I got was made in Taiwan. The media code was Ritek G05, not MXL03 which are made in Japan. I burned through a pack of 50 and had 2 coasters.

Strengths: great price

Weakness: none seen yet

This is a great DVD for burning files such as music files and video files. Finally I now have back ups of all my pictures that were on my computer.

Printable DVD-R Maxell disks 50 pack of Coasters

Strengths: Unsuccessful burns out of 14 in a row. Sony DVD writer and an HP writer. Even tried different projects. No success. Pinnacle Liquid 7, Studio 10.7, and Nero. They don't work.

Weakness: Will not accept any data. Total coaster pack.

I will stick with Verbatim from now on even though I have to order them online because there are no local retailers. I really hoped these would work because I have several projects to complete. I tried several different combinations of burners, software and projects lengths but these disks were all coasters. I am taking them back to the retailer - Sams Club tomorrow.

Great Deal on these hard to find DVD-R's

The quality of recording on these DVD's is excellent. These are hard to find and the quantity of DVD's you get for the price is a really good deal. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and will definetely buy more in the future.

Maxell DVD-R

Strengths: good quality and brand

Weakness: none

Good media for data storage and video playback. The quality that you can expect from a good brand. Compatible with many DVD ROM drives and DVD players. So far, I am satisfied with this media.

MAXELL DVD REVIEW

Strengths: Coaster Free Burning

Weakness: Expensive

I've burnt multiple packs of these Maxell Dvd-R disc on my NEC 3540A Dvd Drive. I use the disc for backing up my photos, music, and data without one coaster. Even though expensive, you definitely get what you pay for.

Strengths: this item has no problems at all.

Weakness: none

This is a perfect deal for anyone that have never used it before because it can be burned up to 12X with no errors. Furthermore, it made in japan. Nice deals!

4X 4.7GB DVD-R Media (50-Pack, Spindle)

Strengths: 2nd Class Media by RitekG05 (Taiwan.

Weakness: Burning is not reliable Not play on my Symphonic DVD/VCR Player. Golden surface was not printable.

I used NEC ND-3520A Burner with Nero 6 to burn some Maxell DVD-R media, then use Scandisk, it shows few bad sector here and there. I use Verbatim DVD-R disk, I burned it perfectly on the same ISO FILE.
Conclusion, it is not a good disc and it is not a burning reliable. The DVD/VCR seems not to recognize the media. It played well on Memorex DVD Player.

Maxell DVD-R Media

Strengths: Excellent Media. Works on any DVD burner.

Weakness: Media I got was manufactured by Ritek.

I have been using Maxell primarily for burning family photos, videos, etc. I never had problems with any of these blank media. Apart from Maxell I have also used TDK, Verbatim. I would highly recommend this media.

Excellent for all purpose burning

Strengths: fast burning speeds, all purpose disks

Weakness: none

I used these discs with my nec 5240 dvd burner. They burned 100% with no coasters. I would recommend these for anyone who needs good discs for a cheap price. Maxell dvd-r is definitely worth it for the money.

Good to burn and print...

Strengths: Error free burning

Weakness: Off white color

Good burning from one of the only three companies we use (Verbatim, Fujifilm, Maxell), but the off-white color to print on isn't appealing (looks dirty). Would like it to be a white or silver like Fuji.
