Turtle Beach Video Advantage PCI

Strengths: Stable software and great video capture result. Drive bay is handy. Solution for both analog and digital.

Weakness: None sofar.

Finally a product that delivers, I have tried many others and returned them to the store, but this product let's me capture my pal vhs tapes, edit them and burn a dvd nicely integrated. Installation documentation is complete and accurate. The resulting dvd is of great quality especially considering most of my tapes are over 10 years old.

Review of Turtle Beach Video Capture Card

Strengths: Good Hardware

Weakness: Lousy Software

The software that comes with the card is poor because it does not work the way it supposed to on Win XP. It will not capture with the Full Cap software, it won't edit in another and won't produce a edit in another. So, I have to capture in one, edit in another and then produce. Can't do everything with one software package (you are supposed to be able to!) Very unsatisfactory, so I will be going to Ulead which has been dependable. Avoid Voyetra software! The card seems fine!
