Great Case

Strengths: Cooling Cooling Cooling, there name isnt Cooler Master for no reason!

Weakness: Heavy, case is all steel. Alone it is about 20 lb's and with all the components inside it tops the scales around 40 lb's.

I bought this case for the great value ($40 after rebate at zzf). Also I bought it as it was one of the few cases that came with 3 120mm fans. It also had room for 4 more fans but I only added the one fan behind the motherboard for now. Also this case is great to use with the geminiII cpu cooler (big cooler that many places have for cheap).

Overall I cant complain about this case it fit everything perfectly, 8800GTS fits w/ room to spare. My power supply just barely had enough wire to make it to the top of the motherboard (p/s on the bottom in this case). The heavyness I can get over as it wont be move much at all.

I give it a 4 because it isnt perfect but I would purchase again.

Solid case, great price

Strengths: Size, cable organization, price, ventilation, looks, top-cover usb, firewire, esata, audio/mic ports, comes with three fans

Weakness: Slight misalignment of silver finishing

Solid case; it is heavy and feels solidly constructed. Rubber feet lift it off the ground and there is room for a bottom mounted fan. This is a bottom power supply mount case so make sure your main 24(20) connector is long enough to reach the motherboard.

Comes with three case fans installed, the front one has a blue led. They are placed for good ventilation but I found the side fan to be loud so put the front fan up at the top and the side fan in front so now the whole inside glows soft blue and the temps are pretty much the same.

Some people complain that their hdd's don't fit in the trays, I think this is more of a problem with IDE drives than with SATA. It is easy to hide cables behind the side panel as well..

I think dust may be a problem but overall this case is excellent.

Awesome Case

Strengths: It has great airflow, where it sucks in air from the front and side panel, to exhaust to the upper back. I like the hard drive trays and top panel for USB and stuff. Tooless installation on cards.

Weakness: The PLED light is very bright compared to the Activity Light. HEAVY, but who moves it often? A little hard to install the motherboard. Awkward power switch location.

Despite having an overwhelming PLED light, power switch, heaviness, and slight difficulty in installing motherboard, it is a great case. The cable routing things made it slightly difficult to install my ABIT IP-35 and made it difficult when installing my IDE cables to my motherboard. Take your time installing your things into this case. Other than that, it is a darn good case. Larger than my old mid tower too. Case comes with SLED which is like the PLED. So for those who don't know what to put into your 3 hole PLED slot on your motherboard, it goes to the 2 hole SLED. And it doesn't come with a case speaker because most modern motherboards have an onboard beep. This is a great case and all those weaknesses are just because I am picky, and those are negligible. Rated 5/5.

CM 690 Black Midsize Tower

Strengths: GREAT AIR FLOW, MANY FANS INCLUDED, MANY MORE FAN BRACKETS, PRICE, GAMER CASE

Weakness: NO SIDE WINDOW, TOO LOUD FOR HTPC

Cooler Master has also given the user the chance to add two further fans on the ceiling of the case. These two fan grills can also take any fan between 80 and 140 mm. That makes for a maxmium of seven large fans within a mid tower case - very impressive. Once everything was finished, the side panels were placed back on the case and the entire PC was turned on. Even though there are three case fans, an OEM CPU cooler, 120 mm PSU fan and the graphic card one thing was missing - vibrations. The fans emit a clean "wooshing" sound if connected directly to the power supply, but are nearly silent when plugged in directly into the mainboard.

Awesome Case

Strengths: Mesh Design, Room for 6 120mm Fans, Cool Front LED, Dust Filter in the front and Bottom of the Case, Tool-less design on Hard Drive Rack and 5 1/4in drive bays, Peripheral ports on top for easy access

Weakness: Tool-less design on add-on cards is not very good and does not provide much tension so the cards do not fit in very tight, Hard Drive Cage limits airflow into case, included 120mm fans have low cfm

Overall this is a very good case that is quite inexpensive after mail in rebate (mine was about $35 and I've seen it go for cheaper). However, the original airflow with this case is less than stellar. After I switched from a Raidmax Smilodon to this, my temps went up by about 2 degrees celsius for each part except for my hard drive, which went up by 5 degrees celsius. However, this can easily be fixed if you have a screwdriver and/or some extra 80mm or 120mm fans laying around. All you need to do is flip the side fan that blows in cool air to the motherboard so that it exhausts it instead. Then, you simply add the other fans to the top and side so that they exhaust the hot air as well. This way, a negative air pressure will be created inside the case for cooler temps. After I did that, my temps when down considerably and it ended up being cooler than my old Smilodon. I would definitely buy this motherboard again.

Love this case!!!

Strengths: Cooling galore!!! Very easy hookups on everything.

Weakness: NONE that really stand out.

Is this heavy? Yes. If you want light and portable, buy a notebook. If you want a gaming monster that gets hot, and needs help staying cool....THIS is the case. Whats that, you want to add water cooling? YEP, you can do that with this also. Pre-drilled holes to run your lines through the back of the case. Quick install of hard drives and optical drives. Plus, no more using screws for your additional cards (video, sound), because of the quick connects for these items also!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE!!!! you can NOT beat this case!!!!

CM 690

Strengths: fan placements, roomy

Weakness: mobo tray not removable, IDE HDDs do not fit without slight mod, my HDD activity LED is not functional, because my mobo (ip35-e) doesn't have the + and the - side by side, they are split over 3 prongs

Roomy case, but my cables all still reach. I have 6-7cm left, after my 2x120mm fans on top of my GeminII, until the inside of the side panel. And, my PSU cables, Earthwatts 430, all still reach. I had to run my 12v 4pin up behind my PCI cards to reach the top of my mobo. But, the rest I was able to route through the hole right at the end of the PSU and bring back around the edges of the mobo tray.

It's like Cooler Master didn't even try to fit an IDE HDD in this cage. Both the PATA cable and molex hit a 90degree bend in the metal at the back of the cage. However, all you need is a small set of pliers to straighten out the bend. I have two in the cage, one out of it, because my IDE cable coming from my controller card wasn't long enough to reach :(

If you have a longer than normal PSU, you will cover up the hole in the mobo tray they intended for cable management.

cable management clips: not really a con because you can just unscrew them, but not useful at all

included fans: useful, but don't move a lot of air, they would be ok for running stock, but if you plan on OCing get at least 4 120mm medium flows

speaking of fans: I drilled some holes and put a 120mm above my floppy and below my optical, and then cut out as much metal as I could in front of the fan
I plan on putting a 120mm behind my HDD cage, to help the one in front of it pull air across my HDDs.

I could (with some careful razor action) get my HDD activity LED to work, by cutting the jumper in half lengthwise, but I don't care that much about it.

Cooler Master 690

Strengths: Great airflow. Quiet. Fan locations galore.

Weakness: Power buttons on bottom right of case. USB, Firewire, Mic, Headphone, and eSATA connectors are on top of the case. No removable motherboard tray. Not really a weakness as I wouldn't expect one.

This is a very well built case. The power supply mount is on the bottom so you'll need one with long cables. The PS fan can be oriented facing down with the bottom being vented underneath. There are places for additional (up to 140mm) fans on the case with 2 on top, an extra on the side, and another on the bottom of the case in front of the PS. There is also a spot for an 80mm fan on the right side behind the motherboard's CPU location. The front and top are metal mesh so the addition of a few fan dust filters would have been nice and should be used on any of the intake fans. I listed the location of the external connectors and power buttons as weaknesses only because they're not where I would have preferred to have them. This is a very good case at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

PROVANTAGE

Strengths: Haven't got the item yet

Weakness: It's been 3 days since I placed my order and still no sign of shipping. I emailed the shipment department 24 hours ago, and no response yet. I think they build the case themselves before shipping.

Horrible shipping speed compared to neweggs. Should have just ordered from there. I have all the other parts delivered from neweggs within 2 days, while Provantage takes 3+ days to even ship.

Amazing buy, fantastic design.

Strengths: Airflow, space, sound, easy to use, SPARE SCREWS in the perfect place. cable routing. tool free design, with option to use screws.

Weakness: Doesn't play well with IDE, The side panels like to fight. The power button is a bit odd. Not enough room for 38 mm high fans.

I bought this case to alleviate some problems with my Antec TX 1050.. This (CM690) case has good hard drive air flow for 6hdds, and the hard drives don't block the video card. The drives fit in, but the side panel needed some slight coaxing to close up the back side.

While I was able to install a 38 x 120 mm fan on top of the case, it obstructed the 4 pin mobo power connector. The 38mm fan was too bulky to fit in to bottom intake spot as the PS cords were all pushing against it. The 4 pin power was able to reach to reach the motherboard plug, but it was tight, so I added an extension.

The HDD screws are in the case screwed into a holder, where they are hardest to lose.

The power supply was mountable in two orientations. The tool-less mounting works well. This has reduced HDD noise by a considerable amount. The case lets sound out easily.. However with quiet parts this case becomes quiet as well (fan-less CPU cooler and graphics cooler).

If fans aren't screwed all the way down this case amplifies the fan rattle.

The top connections are easy to deal with. with removable cables

If you use the bottom IO card slot for a NIC, removing the cable can be a trick (possible physical obstruction depending on the nic cable lock orientation).

Great case

Strengths: Great airflow, good cooling

Weakness: Little bit difficult to install the motherboard, powerswitch is easy to break

Despite of the little bit difficulty in installing the motherboard, CM690 has very good cooling with great airflow. You can even install extra cooling fans to cool the system further down, you can install up to seven fans. This is a good case at a very reasonable price, people who interested in overclocking shall take a look at this case. I like this case and will recommend it to other people.

Roomy, Good Cooling, Looks Nice

Strengths: 10 drive bays, mounting for many large fans, attractive design.

Weakness: Thin, somewhat flimsy door panels that don't slide on easily. Bad pushbutton design for power and reset.

This case is roomy and can hold many drives (10 total, 5 exposed). Hard drives mount in plastic carrier/rails that help reduce noise/vibration but may not be durable long term. The power supply is located at the bottom of the case which requires long cables for some motherboards. There are many places to mount large fans (which is good) but side panel mounts may not be ideal due to thin panels that may vibrate. Another minor complaint are the power and reset buttons that operate via a poorly designed lever action that makes the buttons feel awkward.

Cooler Master 690 Computer Case

Strengths: Affordable, Great cooling, Plenty of space

Weakness: None yet

This is a really great case than can be had for a cheap price with the available Cooler Master rebates. I picked up mine for $19.99 after rebate. This case has several fans and has the option of adding more. Just make sure you select quiet fans or the noise can become significant. With all the cooling, this is a great choice for a gamers case or someone who wants to overclock. Overall this is a great case at a great price.

CM690

Strengths: Value

Weakness: None

This case is a solid VALUE. If you shop around and time it right, you can get this case for under twenty bucks. It's well built and allows quick swapping of internal components with mostly no tools required. The included blue led fan is a nice touch. The ability to hold seven fans allows for plenty of cooling for a gaming PC or a server.

CM's Best Case to date

Strengths: Very versatile Price Design/Layout Tooless Features Roomy Front ports (HD audio, mic, rc97, usb, esata, firewire)

Weakness: Restrictive Grills Noisy Side Panel Fan No removable motherboard tray Hard drive vibration Steel (heavy)

This is probably my second favorite case after my main case (lian li v1000). It has so many features to name. Installation was very easy and there was plenty of room left over. Cable management is made easy by routing things behind the tray/panel so things look neat and organized. It's got plenty of holes for routing cables and water cooling. It's just a great basic case that has potential for modding.

The steel grills should be removed for better airflow as some are just unecessary. Another thing that bothered me was the sidepanel seemed kind of flimsy and was catching on the fan (i think) and it was causing a bunch of noise.

Other than the weaknesses I named, it's a great case for the price.

Nice Functional Case

Strengths: Clean Design, Lots of Hard Drive bays, good Cooling

Weakness: Does not come fully equipped with fans, power supply position not compatible with some power supplies

This is a very well designed case. It uses a half-way BTX design by putting the power supply at the bottom, but does not flip the case fully around. As a result, my Antec Earthwatts power supply's 12V CPU connector was not long enough to reach the motherboard. An extension cable was needed and delayed the build for a few days.

Otherwise, there is very little to complain about. The numerous large but quiet fans keep the CPU and graphics card nice and cool without sounding like a vacuum cleaner. There are more 3.5" bays than most other cases, and all of the drives are positioned sideways so long graphics card do not interfere.

I would recommend this case, but make sure your power supply's cables are long enough for it.

A Lot of Bang for the Buck

Strengths: Cheap, roomy, 7 120/140mm fan holes, folded steel, easy to disassemble.

Weakness: No painted interior, no option without side grills.

While the quality is not near my Antec P180 case, it is still very well made for the price it comes to after rebates. CM has designed a very well thought out interior that accommodates up to seven 120/140mm fans. Having the PSU on the bottom of the case helps get it out of the way and the case has a couple cable routing holes.

Best computer case so far

Strengths: Upto 7 cooling fans, easy installation

Weakness: none

I have had about 8 cases and this is the best among them. First of all, the case comes with 3 fans and 4 more can be installed. Supercool inside. Also no tool is required except motherboard b/c no screws in hard disk and pci installation.

It's all about the airflow and cable management...

Strengths: Massive airflow - Integrated cable management clips - Simple removable hard drive trays - Tool-less 5.25" bays - Unique screw management - Top-mounted USB, Firewire, audio, eSATA!

Weakness: Noise and no dust filtration other than front fan intake (must pop off front panel to get to filter)

All I can say is -- WOW! These cases have been as low as $19.99 + shipping after rebate. That's an amazing value! Don't hesitate to buy this case for anywhere around $40 or less shipped!
-
Ships stock with 3 x 120mm fans (one blue LED in front, one in back and one in the side), with room for up to 4 more (or swap them for 140mm fans). All 3 are 3-pin with included 3 to 4-pin molex adapters.
-
There's plenty of room to work inside the case, and the integrated plastic clips for cable routing/management were well thought out. The top-mounted USB, Firewire, audio and eSATA ports are extremely well placed if your case is on the floor, and super easy to connect to your motherboard.
-
If you need to keep things cool, this case is probably 70% open for air flow. A unique feature (that we'll probably see more of) is an open vent in both the motherboard tray and side panel for keeping the UNDERSIDE of the CPU socket cool. Big thumbs up there. The downside to all this openness is that there's nothing to keep noise from coming out.
-
If you like the exterior looks of this case, there's nothing bad to say about it. The tool-less hard drive trays and 5.25" bays are literally a snap to use, and all of the screws you'll need come installed in pre-drilled holes on both sides of the 5.25" bays (very convenient). The only thing that would make this case better is if there was dust filtration for all of the intakes, but considering that they've been practically giving these away, it's hard to complain.
-
Keep in mind that your PSU is bottom-mounted in this case and will need to have cables long enough to reach the top (most +12v connectors for the motherboard are there).

Classic Styling With Great Cooling

Strengths: 3 120mm Fans included(1 with LED), Mounts to add 4 more fans, Great price, Good Cable management

Weakness: A bit loud compared to my old Sonata

Over all it's a great case. Lots of room for a mid tower, much more room than my Antec Sonata. Cooling is great with the 3 stock fans(1 on the rear, 1 on the side panel for cooling the NB, SB, VGA, mem, 1 on the front to cool the HD). A bit loud compared to my Sonata, but it has only 1 case fan. To reduce noise, you should plug the case fan into the mobo instead of straight to the power supply.

Cooler Master CM 690

Strengths: Huge mid-size case, multiple fan options (up to 7 120mm fans!), tool-less drive bays, making this an easy case to work with!

Weakness: Side panel with the two fan openings is a bit flimsy. Power/rest button takes a bit getting used to. eSATA, USB, Firewire, and sound plugs on top (prefer in front).

Beautiful quality black steel case at an excellent price point! I'm only using the rear and front 120mm fans as the the airflow in this case is quite good. The only tool I needed was a screwdriver to fasten the motherboard and power supply onto the case. The tool-less feature to install the add-on cards and drives work better than expected. Supposedly, Cooler Master will have a side panel available early 2008 which will be icing on the cake! Overall, this is an excellent value case!

CM 690

Strengths: Multiple 120mm fan locations, cable management, mesh front panel, price, rubber feet

Weakness: weight, mb tray is not removable

The interior with the cable management system and tool less design for the harddrives is a plus. there are locations for 8 fans including a 80mm behind the cpu socket. Three 120 mm fans are included. The motherboard standoff screws are on the case interior supports. I like the front mesh for air cooling circulation. Rubber on hd mounts, power supply mount and bottom of case cuts down on noise. Has a lot of room for oversized video cards and power supplies. For the price this is one of my preferred cases.

Coolmaster CM690

Strengths: Large, many fans, stylish, price, cooling ability

Weakness: side door, blue led fan (minor annoyance), possible dirt buildup on filters, need long power supply cables

Received this case a few days ago and am very impressed. Firstly, the case is very large, especially deep. It seems well constructed with decently thick metal. The finish is very nice and it has an overall very nice appearance (could have dropped the chrome but will live with it).

The number of fan choice are outstanding, especially since they are 120mm variety (think quiet), however, I have replaced the blue LED fan at the front with a simple 120mm Yates Loon fan for quietness and to remove the blue light.

The case door was somewhat difficult to open, but once inside, the case is quiet large and manageable. One point is to make sure that your power supply has long cables, especially if routing behind the motherboard tray.

The case is quiet, even with 5 fans but I will attempt to quieten them down to inaudiable with a fan controller.

Overall impression is a great case for the money. The appearance is very nice. Rated A-

Great case for the money!

Strengths: This case is pretty good for the money. Simple but good styling, no front door (personal preference), lots of toolless brackets for drives and expansion slots, and LOTS of potential for fans.

Weakness: Kind of a pain installing the motherboard. There are already cords strapped down inside the case that go to front audio/usb/firewire/esata and you have to maneuver the board around to get it to fit in

It's not a bad case, but there are definitely a few things that could be improved. For the money, it was a fine purchase, but hindsight is 20/20 and I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to others.

Great Case!

Strengths: -Layout is great. -Great cooling. -Looks amazing.

Weakness: -power and reset button placement and feel.

Out of all the cases i have ever owned this one ranks at the top. Great look, good layout, and a solid feel to it. Other then the feel and placement of the power and reset buttons i have no other complaints about it. Good thing my power supply cables reached the motherboard. =P

Great Case

Strengths: Great air flow great price

Weakness: CAN'T INSTALL AN IDE HARD DRIVE IN IT

This thing is one of the best mid-towers I have ever used. Greta air flow, good looks.Price is also good. Case comes with 3 120mm fans but has space for EIGHT 120-140mm fans (2 side, 2 top, 1 back, 1 bottom, 1 front + 2nd front w. opt. drive bay mount) and one 80mmx15mm fan behind the mobo

Great Mid-Tower Case

Strengths: 1)Many locations for fans to keep the case cool 2)Tool-less install 3)Built-in cable management 4)HDD grommets

Weakness: 1)Front panel is a little flimsy 2)The location of the power & reset buttons could be better

I really like this case. You get a lot of features with this case for a great price. It comes with three 120 mm fans, with the option of adding four more 120 mm fans. That's a total of seven 120 mm fans, plus there is a spot for a skinny 80 mm fan on the right side of the case to cool the rear of the motherboard. The only thing I do not like about the case is the placement of the power and reset buttons. They are located on the right side of the case towards the front.

Overall Good

Strengths: toolless hardrive idea. lots of fan and very stylish.

Weakness: the tooless pci bay was useless I broke all of them. The wire management holder are useless. They put it too close to the motherboard.

good case for the money i definitely buy again. I like the idea of the psu at the bottom of the case. This is a good case overall if you are on a budget or like secc metal.

Couldn't Be a better deal

Strengths: sturdy Tons of fans. love having the psu on the bottom, cable management, usb / headphones on top This list can go on for ever!

Weakness: The hard disk activity plugs are only 2 prong while most motherboards require a 3.When I got the activity light working, it ended being very dim.

I would suggest this Chassis to anyone looking for an inexpensive upgrade. having the ability for additional fans and cable management makes it perfect for over clocking. Cant beat the price and its a cooler master!

Classy, Silent, and Cheap to Boot! Very Little...

Strengths: Good Price, and Good Design.

Weakness: Front Facing can be a little tough to put back on right, and the top drive slot is somewhat diffucult to slide a drive in smoothly because of the connector cables coming from the top of the case.

Better than expected! The metal construction is very good quality (although it does slighty show finger-prints), comes with a front blue led fan and internal chassis fans. The case has a internal plastic cable organizing system, and the case's construction allows for a good amount of room to work in, while not being overly big. Recommended! It seems that Cooler Master is definitely winning in the price/perfomance ratio in cases at this time. Just for reference all the "front connectors" are actually on the top of the computer which includes USB, Firewire, Mic, Headphone, and eSATA (This one is new). (REMEMBER THIS DOES NOT COME WITH ANY SCREWS) If I would have reminded myself of this I wouldn't be dealing with a small issue at this time. (Although keep in mind that the harddrives, optical drivers, and motherboard peripherals are all screwless, it doesn't come with the screws for the motherboard, but I think that is mainly the motherboard makers fault not Cooler Master.)
*UPDATE* After further review it does seem to have a array of I believe 20 screws screwed into the case in it's interior that can be removed. 2 Different types of screws.

Great and Cheap Case

Strengths: 7 Fan Total 120 and 140 mm, Solid construction, dust filterm PSU placement at the bottom, Cable management. CHEAP. USB, eSata, and firewire connection on top.

Weakness: Material quality is not high quality, just like regular case. but this is not aluminum case, only a steel case. Not so quite with all the fan on.

Im not complaining about the case, in fact Im pretty happy with this case, I built many computers, and this is one of the cheapest case with high features case.
Excellent airflow with all fan enabled.

The case that i receive doesnt come with rubber fan thing ( some reviews show what it is)

"Great" case

Strengths: Nice looking, three case fan, enough drive bay

Weakness: It is "great", kind of big size for a midsize tower case

I got it from zzf with a great price. When I received this, I was surprise for the BIG size of the BOX. Yes, it is much bigger than I expected. (compare with all my FAR cased). Without using any tools, I can open the side very easily, and put in my newly purchased Cooler Master 500W power supply smoothly. It has enough space to put every thing in the case. Everything looks fine.
The only thing I do not like is: all the case io ports are on the top (USB port, 1394 port, audio ports and esata port). I like to put stuffs on top of the case, then those ports will get blocked. Besides of this, it is a very good case.

Get this now!

Strengths: Big roomy case, tool-less design, bottom mounted psu slot, mesh front, plenty of places for extra fans if needed.

Weakness: None

This case is worth every penny. You need to get one before they stop making this model. I can't believe how much nicer it is in real life compared to the pictures I have found on the web. Go to Newegg for some good pics to get a better (although still insufficient)idea. This is my latest favorite case and I am a builder who has put together about 15-20 rigs in the last several years. You will not be disappointed. If you can score a rebate it is just frosting on the cake.

Cooler Master CM 690 desktop Case

Strengths: Excellent

Weakness: None

I owned Antec cases and wanted to try cooler master cases. This case looks gorgeous and spacious inside. It's easy to install any component and has a better cooling. I am a advanced user so a beginner can handle this case easily. I would recommend this.

Cooler Master CM 690 Black Midsize Tower

Strengths: Tooless Assembly, interior size, strength, cable management, and it's not bad looking!

Weakness: Weight, buttons on the left side, cable management isn't compatable with all MBs.

I bought this to house a second system. The price and reviews said "Go Ahead". I did exactly that, and was pleasantly surprised. It's not the quality of my Lian Li, but I wasn't expecting that. For a bargain priced case, you can't go wrong!

great case

Strengths: LOTS of air flow. Lots of room to work. No sharp edges. Cable management system built in. Lightweight. High Quality materials. Hard Drives are screwless and turned sideways for maximum airflow from the 120mm front fan.

Weakness: The Optical drives are NOT screwless. Technically you could leave the screws out but the drive would be wobbly. small issue: the front PWR light wire (Green and White) has 2 slots. The Motherboard (ASUS) has 3 pins. WTH. I thought this was standardized 10

Entire case is a reinforced, wire mesh box with fan mounts on EVERY side. This is probably my 2xx th build and I would say this is definately one of the best designed cases I have worked with. If you are not ready to jump to liquid cooling yet, this case can help cool the latest components. I would buy this case for my personal use.

CM 690

Strengths: Includes 3 fans w/option to add 5 more, good cable management, e-sata connection,

Weakness: Certain heatsinks will not allow the use of the upper fan on side panel

Got this case when Newegg had it for $50 AR. The screws for the dvd drive, hard drives, etc are screwed in, on the side inside of the case. Great idea on CM's part as this way you won't have to worry about misplacing screws.

Options to attach 2 120mm or 140mm fans on top for exhaust, one 120 or 140mm fan on bottom for intake. If you use a large aftermarket heat sink like the Ultra Extreme, you won't be able to put a fan in the upper slot on the side panel. The lower slot will be fine. There's a spot to add an 80mm fan behind the cpu, but i didn't use it. They have these clamps-like right outside the motherboard area to help organize cables inside which is quite useful.

The power supply is mounted on the bottom. You can put the power supply with the fan facing down (unlike the Antec 900) as there are holes at the bottom of the case and the case feet raise it up about an inch.

There's an e-sata connection on top of the case along with 2 usb, 1 firewire, micro, audio.
Overall i think it's one of the best cases in its price range.
