This Logitech QUickcam Orbit webcam can be a very good choice who wants to have pan and tilt webcam. There is a few freeware which you can control pan and tilt function of this webcam from outside.

Strengths: Great Function

Weakness: Software problem

The orbit mp cam itself is very good. Installing the software is another story. Quickcam software from cd never installed properly, I had to go the website and download for a newer version of the software to fix the problem.

Fun to play with and good video quality

Strengths: Good quality. Fun software that adds mustache and other effects

Weakness: Movements not very smooth

Worked good at first try on my Windows XP and AMD computer. The software loads slower than I expect but once started it works good with Skype and MSN chat. Video looks much better than other webcams that were cheaper.

Great webcam with great video quality, software...

Strengths: High quality video, tracks movements.

Weakness: Jerky movements, requires higher power PCs. Was not recognized on my laptop.

Great video quality but the webcam was not supported on my 4 month old VAIO laptop w/ Vista. Tried two of these units on two identical laptops. None of the webcams worked. It worked flawlessly on my XP desktop but would eat up a bit of CPU utilization. I suggest only using this if your PC is recent.

a high end cam

Strengths: good resolution, motorized movement, sensor to keep track of movement, auto & manual control

Its a high end product and I bought this for my office.
it has 2.1 MP camera and with all the features which i mentioned in the stength.

Its very easy to install and does a good job in keeping track of any movement around it.

Great Quickcam with lots of feature

Strengths: motorized track sense the movement great resolution nice stand

Weakness: very costly

2 mega pixel cam, very good resolution with auto sense and manual movement .. nice desktop stand ..
The cam follows you when you move around ..

excellent webcam

Strengths: fine image quality and small size

Weakness: none

This webcam is excellent in terms of price and its quality. Images are very clear with real color. Webcam set up is a very easy process to follow even though you are not good at computer. The size is small so it does not take up a lot of your space.

Slick Smart Webcam

Strengths: Nice design

Weakness: N/A

This is the new 2.0 Meg pixel optical webcam from logitech. It is easy to install the software and the face tracking from the webcam make this little camera smarter. The photo quality is very nice even under room low light enviroment. I love this webcam.

Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF Webcam

Strengths: Carl Zeiss Optics, motorized tracking

Weakness: None so far

This is Logitech's top of the line webcam. The Carl Zeiss lens captures images that are better in quality than most 2mp point and shoot digital cameras. The tracking works great too as it follows you when you are moving around. Make sure you download the latest software from Logitech (currently v1150).

Logitech Quickcam Orbit AF

Strengths: Picture & video quality; eye-catching design; build quality; desktop stand

Weakness: Price

This is Logitech's top of the line webcam, and probably is the best on the market right now. It features 2 mega-pixel sensor, Carl-Zeiss lens, auto-focus system, and motorized tracking. It can even capture HD video. This webcam really enhances the pleasure and quality of making video calls. I've used many other webcams and I think this one is by far the best. Once you try it, you'll see the difference.

The only thing that might hold you back is probably the $129.99 price tag. However, if you keep track of the price, you should be able to get one at 1/3 of the price just like me. I'm very satisfied with this webcam.

Vista Capable. Motorized auto face tracking. Built-in Mic. A bit expensive for a webcam but it the auto face tracking makes it a unique product. Good optics. Comes with Carl Zeiss Lens. Get latest software version from Logitech site.

A Perfect High End Webcam

I bought this webcam to replace my old Orbit MP model. I knew there's no much difference between AF and MP. However, AF comes with Carl Zeiss Lens. And I do feel it does a little bit better job than MP (not much though). Also, this one has 2 megapixel while MP's 1.3 megapixel. Like all other high end Logitech products, it works superb without any issues. I'm super happy with it.

Logitech Orbit AF

Strengths: The clarity of this webcam is amazing due to the carl zeis optics. Pan and tilt option with zoom also add to the greatness of this webcam.

Weakness: Auto tracking is somewhat buggy, so I use manual focusing instead.

This webcam is so easy to use. The software that comes with this camera is so simple even a caveman can use it. What makes this webcam stand out from the crowd is it's amazing clarity. The carl zeis optics really make the price of this camera worth every penny. I really like the pan and tilt option as well with the ability to zoom in on objects. I would recommend this camera to all my friends. It's no wonder that skype recommends this camera because it's better than most of the other webcams on the market.
