Clear Chat Style HeadsetStrengths: Very clear sound, can hear the music I listen to clearly. It works well with VOIP over the PC. Weakness: Doesn't fit snuggly on the ears. Some static is heard when changing the volume. Overall performance of this headset is great. The main problem with this headset is that it doesn't snuggly fit on the head and the ears, but other than that I've been happy with it. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Better than the other Logitech ClearChat headphones
Strengths: Comfortable
Weakness: Hard to get on
This is a huge step up from Logitech's crummy ClearChat Comfort USB headset, which does not live up in any way to the "Comfort" adjective in its name. The ClearChat Style is a behind the head/neck kind of headset that rests on your ears. This makes them rather challenging to slip on because the band that holds the headphone portion to your ears is pretty stiff and the gap between the band and ear pads through which the tops of your ears have to slip is pretty narrow.
Nonetheless, once in place, the ClearChat Style is quite comfortable, and the tension applied by the band that goes behind your neck/head is not excessive. The only gotcha I noticed is that, unless you happen to have a really big head, the behind-the-head/neck band is not flush with your skin. Consequently, if you lean back in a chair with a tall head rest, you will push the headset forward off your ears. This is a minor annoyance but one that should be easy to avoid after a few hours of use.
Sound quality is loud and clear, and this is an ideal head set for VoIP, like Google Talk.
Another huge advantage of the ClearChat Style over the ClearChat Comfort is the interface. While the ClearChat Comfort USB interface may afford better sound quality because the audio data is digitized or reproduced right near the mic and speakers of the head set, the USB interface is a royal pain in the tail end. Once installed, the ClearChat Comfort becomes the primary audio reproduction device, and it cannot be removed with the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon. To switch to speakers for sound playback entails going into the Control Panel Multimedia settings and actually changing the preferred audio playback device which is a huge waste of time and a complete pain.
ClearChat Style has conventional 1/8" input and output jacks, so there's no need to go into the Multimedia control panel in order to switch audio sources. This is probably Logitech's best headset offering if you're not looking to break the bank.
