8800'S ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO

Strengths: amazingly overclockable, price, rivals or beats many 8800 GTX cards in benchmark, lifetime warranty, supports two 30" monitors, copper pipe heat cooling.

Weakness: This thing is big, i mean 10-11" long and 2" thick, but it looks and feels like your getting your moneys worth.

My old ASUS 7600GS from a two year old build was no match for this card. In fact my old card died two weeks after i got my new 3007 WFP DELL monitor. So after a few days of no computer i sat down with my laptop and looked at the possibilities; GTS, GT, GTX, ULTRA, QUAD, GTX 2XX, 8800, 9800? I still don't feel geforce's new gtx 2xx series cards are worth the price or up to the standard of what they could be, so that's out. -And i cant afford a $1500 quad card, or a $800 gtx or the fastest card as of six months ago [an overclocked ultra $900], so im left with GTS and GT. I came across this FATAL1TY 8800 GTS and the benchmarks were unreal, yes its only 320 mb but this thing takes it vitamins because nothing in its class, GT's class and some GTX's can keep up with. If you don't believe me, just look up some of the benchmarks and how they meet or beat some GTX cards. For $270 with shipping you need this card!!, but if you need to save space, i would go for a 8800GT OR 9800 if you want to spend a little more. If you have the space on your ATX board i would go for the this GTS or GTX overclocked, there's just something about putting a graphics card your case the size of a power supply that makes you feel like a man. lol. Other than that this card comes standard with two DVI, S-VIDEO, DUAL SLI, DDR3 RAM, COPPER COOLING and FAN, NO CHEEZY SCI-FI GRAPHIC STICKER, HIGH QUALITY BUILD, LIFETIME WARRANTY, GREAT CS SUPPORT, OH.. AND LOST PLANET IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH SOME DIRECT X10.

Did you find it helpful or unhelpful?
