Great PSU from a reputable companyStrengths: 750 watts, large 140mm fan, good value Weakness: Not modular, maybe too many cables for some people's use. Corsair may be known for its memory but they also make great power supplies. 750 watts is good enough for the vast majority of users, and having 1 big rail instead of 2 smaller ones increases efficiency. The amount and length of cables was almost too much for the Antec P180 Mini case I used it in, but with a bit of organizing it's manageable. 100% of readers found this review helpful. PSU for the enthusiastsStrengths: Full features, 80+ certified Weakness: Non modular The Corsair 750TX is well built with well thoughtout features such as single rail and auto voltage switching. This PSU has more than enough power to drive any well equipped PCs, especially those with the latest energy efficient Intel processors and graphics cards. This power supply doesn't bleed your pocket either because it is 80+ certified. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The power that I neededStrengths: Volts, amps, and cables. Weakness: none Absolutely love this PSU for my gaming system. Has all the amps that I need on the 12v rail for my 9800gt ultimate. Alot of cables for adding more toys inside my rig. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Buying Corsair Saves You MoneyStrengths: 80+ Efficiency Rating; PF Value of 0.99; Guaranteed Dual GPU Compatibility; Over Current Protection; Under Voltage Protection; Short Protection and 5 Year Warranty Weakness: A little more cost up front. While I will agree that you can buy a power supply with the same output rating for less money up front, it is not hard to figure out how this one will save you enough green to pay for itself. This power supply is designed to give you a 80+ efficiency rating which means it consumes less energy on the AC side to produce the same amount of output. Not only that, but the output on this power supply is actually cleaner than other power supplies I have used. Also, with a little price shopping, you could pick one of these up for about $20 more than a competitor's model without the high efficiency rating or the protection features designed to protect your high-tech components. I've also noticed that this supply is equipped with a variable speed fan that is thermally activated. That cuts way down on the noise factor for those less demanding applications. With a 5 year warranty to boot, this one is hard to beat. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

TX CMPSU-750TX 750WStrengths: 60A on the +12V Rail, 8 sata and 4 pci-e connectors, long cables, very solid construction Weakness: not modular This is a very solid psu with great packaging. I had to rma a 550w psu with corsair and Corsair replace the unit. this unit is very quiet and runs cool. One of the best power supplies out there. If you can afford it you will not go wrong with this psu. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Rock solid power supplyStrengths: -60A rating on a single 12V rail -Sleeved, extra long cables -140mm fan provides low noise cooling -Large amount of available connectors Weakness: -Not modular, large amount of cables may be messy in smaller cases. This power supply comes from one of the most reputable companies in PC hardware. With a monstrous rating of 60A on a single 12V rail, this device will easily power just about any kind of computer you throw at it, including quad-core + SLI setups. Plenty of connectors are provided, including many SATA and even the new 6+2 pin PCI-E connector compatible with both old and new PCI-E video cards. Sleeved cables minimize clutter, and their extra length ensures that this power supply will support full tower cases. This power supply runs very quietly and an 80+ efficiency certification will save you money on your power bill by using it. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great Supply for My Demand
Strengths: 80+ certified, SLI ready, single rail
Weakness: Many extra cables for my setup, non-modular
This power supply does the job. Comes with 4 6+2 connectores for older and modern graphics cards. My biggest problem with it was that I didn't need all the connectors supplied, but I had to make room for them in my case anyway. Others may have use for all the cables, however. The fan, which is pretty quiet, is aimed downward. Luckly, with the NZXT Tempest case I was able to flip it so it faced up for proper ventilation. Just a thought although this may not work for all cases.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this power supply to anyone who needs one. It was very compatible with my case and computer build.
