it works, but not the best

Strengths: capacity

Weakness: rubber cap doesn't feel secure, speed is average, price

This flash drive offered the level of storage I needed. Corsair uses state of the art memory technology, but they do charge a premium price (I paid $180). It's LED does show the memory accesses, for what that's worth. Its weaknesses render the product unworthy of its premium price:
1. the rubber cap too easily slips off, when it hangs around your neck with the included lanyard, you don't feel the cap's secure. when mounted, the cap does not create a waterproof seal, despite their claim.
2. it's rubber casing is a bit bulky and attracts lint. you couldn't put two of these into two stacked adjacent USB slots. thus they included a USB extension cable
3. its speed is average: HD Tach 3.0.4.0 posted a burst speed of 24.4 MB/s, random access time of 2.4 ms, and avg read speed of 22.8 MB/s.
4. This stick did not pass the Vista readyboost test.
Overall, this stick is functional, but not worth its price.

Well worth the wait!

Strengths: 32GB capacity, durable rubber casing, blue LED activity light

Weakness: definitely not water proof! must use extension cable

As stated in other reviews, this flash drive definitely cannot be considered completely water proof. It could get rained on a bit, but definitely not submerged under water...which is fine in most cases.

You have to use the extension cable if plugging in multiple devices...but this is pretty much expected since the rubber case has to be thick enough to protect the drive! So I definitely can't complain, but you might have to get used to using the additional cable...

I unfortunately still am behind with USB1.1, so I cannot make any claims on the speed of the drive, but it works and that's what counts for me!

Do not pay more than $100 for this drive, that's why I waited for the price to go down....its the only way its worth it.

UPDATE: Corsair's website offers users a free cap replacement if you are concerned about losing your cap. I lost mine very early on, but never bothered to check if I could get it replaced. So this is just another simple plus.

Good Flash Drive

Strengths: Capacity, speed, good feel

Weakness: Pricey, cap, no color code

Had 8 GB version but wanted more capacity. This does the job. I haven't lost the cap on either, yet, but this could happen easily. Would also help if they were color-coded to tell them apart.

Although Corsair is a bit pricey, the drives perform well. They are speedy and relatively compact. The software is a plus.

Corsair 32GB

Strengths: Large capacity that I needed to replace a much older 512MB drive and 2GB drive. TrueCrypt is a plus. The one I received came with version 43a dated 19 Feb 2008. But I'll be using version 5.0a.

Weakness: I think that it could have used a better cap. Or at least have an extra hook so that the lanyard could also hold it and the USB drive. I am fearful that I will lose it someday.

I cannot say that I have had the problem with it being a bit larger on the sides. So far I am able to work with this device side-by-side with my other USB connections and despite its slightly larger size it has not interfered with the other plug-in devices. Great device for saving many large files.

32Gb Flash Voyager USB Flash Drive

Strengths: Portability, High capacity.

Weakness: None at this time that I can think of.

I was sent this drive instead of the OCZ Technology model. I originally wanted the Corsair, but wanted to save some money, and ordered the OCZ product. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I received the product I originally wanted! I have not yet had any problems with the cap, either! I highly recommend!
