Strengths: good read speed

Weakness: so so write speeds

3. poor cap design as with many such drives
4. lanyard hole available at other end but may be a tigh fie for keychains
5. orange led on all the time can be annoying

7. reasonable buy at right price
8. paid around $15 after rebate September 2008

Strengths: Good price, Fast Speed, Big storage room

Weakness: none

This 8gb Drive is very reliable and it did not give any problems for 1 month of usage. It is very fast stick, and it has awful amount of storage space. Highly recommended!

Fast Durable

Strengths: Fast. Durable.

Weakness: Must eject drive before removing. Removable cap can easily be lost.

This is what seems to be my 25th flash drive or so. You know what happens... people borrow them, they fall out of your pocket, you break the tip off, or they just magically disappear.

This is my first drive made by OCZ, and I must say it is much faster than any other drive I've used before (Kingston, Sandisk, A-Data, ACP-EP, etc). I had a Patriot Memory drive before this that was quite speedy as well, though I didn't prefer the rubber housing of that drive. I prefer the aluminum housing of this one. I have read somewhere on this vast internet of ours that due to this drive being dual channel; that it is a good idea to eject the drive from Windows (non issue with Mac's as you have to eject all drives) or you could have data corruption. So I always eject this drive when I'm done using it. I've used it for 2 months now (and haven't lost it either!) and it hasn't let me down. If you find a good price on this drive, I highly recommend it.
