Mogo Bluetooth AdaptorStrengths: Small size; Good driver Weakness: None Well, this device is tiny. So it is very good to use in your laptop while on the go. The driver is solid. I have 4 other bluetooth dongles from other company (some old some actually quite new). Only Mogo let me connect to my new GPS receiver/logger reliably. This is a keeper. MoGo Bluetooth AdapterStrengths: Size Weakness: no online driver (that I could find) Was looking for a small bluetooth adapter for my laptop. This one fits the bill. Easy to setup (with included disk) since the products website does not seem to list the driver for this device. Control menu also seems user friendly. For less then $10 I would recommend this product. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

MoGo Dapter Bluetooth Adapter (Bluetooth v2.0, 3...Strengths: Tiny size. Weakness: Enclosed software does not work under MS Vista 32-bit. I am an advanced MS Windows user. I've tried several methods to get this item to run under Vista and a Gateway ML6230. Each time, I failed to get this "plug and play" usb adapter to work with a Motorola H350 headset. I contacted the manufacturer for customer support via email. I received no response. I will return this item to Buy.com for full credit. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

This Item Satisfies My BluetoothStrengths: Small size, good software compatibility, somewhat good reception range. Weakness: Had to do a little research before completing the installation. Well, I am now well into bluetooth technology, but surprisingly it doesn't involve a cell phone. A little background, I am now using a Jabra BT3030 BT stereo headphone paired up with a MAC MINI (Leopard OS)and an Insignia Pilot 8gb MP3 player. Not to leave out my XP PRO Destop PC, I purchased the subject MoGo BT Dapter. Installed the CD Rom driver software which came with the MoGo, afterward went to HELP menu and looked for updates, none to be found. I went to IVT Corps website and made a mistake of installing Version 5, which later caused registration problems, and interruptd BT service. Re-installed Version 2 and searched for any BT device. Since my Jabra was turned on, it found it, but mistakenly reported that it was a Motorola S9 BT device. A little shaken, I refreshed the search cycle, and this time it found the Jabra BT3030 Headphone. The MoGo BT Dapter has been running good ever since. Range is about 10-15 feet, but I using the front USB port on my desktop which sits on the floor, and probably limits reception range. I'm fortunate to get to outdoor patio next to bedroom site where the computer is, also can make runs to the bathroom all without dropouts occurring. All in all, the MoGo BT Dapter fits the bill! Decent bluetooth receiver. Good for the price.Strengths: Tiny. This works perfect for laptops, and on desktops you can use it in usb ports at the front. Very cheap. Weakness: Range is limited. I can only go around 10 feet before it loses connection. It is a bit wider than the usb port, so on laptops where multiple usb ports are next to each other, it may interfere. I picked this up for $10 for my desktop. I wanted to use it with bluetooth headset for skype. It works perfectly, but I can't wonder too far from the computer. I plugged it in the front, and it's very unobtrusive. Now I've plugged it into a usb extension so I can get it to the top of my monitor. I would prefer a more powerful receiver, but for the price its tough to beat. Also works great on my old laptop. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Better than I expected
Strengths: Compact, reasonably fast
Weakness: unexplained but rare signal dropout during file transfer
This MoGo bluetooth adapter comes with the software BlueSoleil 2.7. But it apparently also works fine with BlueSoleil 5.
So far I've only tried connecting two devices with it - my cellphone SGH-D900 and headset Jabra BT8010. Both appears to work individually, but don't expect to simultaneously transferring file to phone while listening to music with the headset.
With the phone alone, I was able to get up to about 120KB/sec of transfer rate while copying files off the phone two feet away. Transfer rate drops a little if there's something blocking the direct line of sight. It usually works pretty well for small file transfers. However, I had a few non-reproducible occasions where the signal just dies in the middle of big file or multiple-file transfers. I am not sure if that's a problem on my phone's side, or a software bug on BlueSoleil's side.
With my headset, I can get audio streamed at least 20 feet away. There's often lag in the audio, so you probably don't want to watch a movie while listening via stereo bluetooth. But then again, I don't know if the lag is really caused by the adapter, or it's because software, headset, or my computer.
The green LED light remains on as long as the adapter is connected to the USB port, even if Bluetooth is turned off. I don't like it powered all the time, so I often physically disconnect the device. But its small size can easily lead to misplacement.
I would rate this somewhere between very good and satisfactory. I had a low expectation before using it, but so far I am fairly happy with the purchase in general.
