Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: Fast. Large paper tray. Ethernet and Duplexing standard. Sharp print quality. Weakness: I couldnt find a way to switch duplexing in the software, before you print--it is only a button on the printer itself. I got the printer for an excellent price--was the price artificially low back in December 2003 for some reason??? It has performed superbly to date, and I would definitely buy it again. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: Good buildy quaility. Wide platform support. Good networking provision Weakness: Paper has to re-enter for duplex This printer amazed me both with the price, and the quality of the actual product. It is very fully featured, with network connection, duplex paper handling and very high speed, yet remains around the $300 mark. The output is comparable to any other laser printer in this field. I can highly recommend the printer. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: VERY inexpensive for what it does - great quality fast. Weakness: Doesn't vacuum house for us... I'm still wondering how I got a printer like this for $300... Everybody had it for this price at the time, so I don't know why everyone suddenly raised prices, but oh well... Its worth more honestly. $1k less than an HP. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: PostScript Level3, PCL6, even IBM Proprinter! standard; Ethernet/USB/IEEE1284/WiFi option; 500-sheet tray + 100 manual; auto duplexing and 4-to-a-page; straight-through paper path; Toner save switch. Weakness: Non-standard DIMM (1 slot) for RAM upgrades, 16MB standard RAM is a bit small for PostScript; included toner cart is rated at only 50% life (4000 pages); printed documentation sparse, but not needed. Bottom line: appears Well-built; feature-laden; a great value at double the price. Would definitely buy again. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: Heavey duty, solid construction, compared with others in the same price range; very good value for its features and quality. Weakness: Printout is very good, but not as sharp or bright (glossy) as I experienced with other leading brands--probably due to the difference in toner's quality. This is a very well built machince in term of construction and material. Some leading brands, for economical reason, start to use cheaper and lighter materials (e.g. thin plastic parts), which become easier to break. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung ML-2151N Laser PrinterStrengths: IEEE 1284 Parallel, USB 2.0, Fast Ethernet 10/100BaseTX RJ45 Weakness: Samsung doesn't seem to update drivers very often, if at all and a 128mb memory upgrade seems impossible to come by this printer rocks! I set it up using the network interface and everything works great. Easy set up if you know networking.......if not I recommend using the USB cable and let XP configure for you. Samsung ML-2151N Laser Printer
Strengths: Lots of printer for your money. Fast print engine, PS 3, sharp text and great halftoning. All for $300.00. HP beware or Samsung will own the laser printer market.
Weakness: Not much Mac info in the manual. Great tech support makes up for it.
I purchased this printer a week ago and I still can’t believe it only cost $300.00. HP needs to take note or Samsung is going to own the laser printer market. The print engine is fast, the image quality is great, software load and set-up was quite easy. I had to get some tech support help with setting the printer up on a network as I have no experience in that arena. Tech support was helpful and polite. They were even prepared to deal with Mac OS X questions. Buyers take note that this printer comes with the Postscript 3 module as a standard feature. Most of the descriptions at on-line stores show PS as an option. However, I saw some text at the Samsung site that suggested it was standard. I called to find out and, sure enough, they include it on the ML-2151N. PS 3 modules retail for $150 alone so that makes a great deal even better.
