Good Product(once up and running)

Strengths: Easy setup if working with new drives. Rated by Toms Hardware as best performance in class.

Weakness: Will not recognize and format drives which have been formatted by another OS or RAID controller. Low level format of existing drives required prior to installation of drives.

I spent hours upon hours and was unable to get the SS4200 to boot. The hard drives I installed were sourced from another server and formatted by a LSI-MegaRAID controller. I expected the SS4200 would format the drives or at least return an error. Instead it just hangs and never obtains an IP address from the DHCP server.
