Weakness: Not required for Vista; could be cheaper
I got Network Magic bundled with a Netgear switch, so decided to install it. I found it to be very useful, giving me an easy view of my home network. I have a slew of networked applicances at home, and it identified most of them, and if not, at least gave the IP address. You can name and identify those that it does not recognize. It will raise a flag if some new device enters the network. It also has a very easy to setup wireless access to my WiFi router, unlike XP's klutzy one. It will reconnect my wife's laptop everytime.
After the 30-day trial was up, you revert to a crippled version. I like it enough, that I went out and bought a retail copy. Note that with Vista, they provide a network map, so this might not be as necessary. However, I still like it! Just wish it was cheaper!!
