Quick Cam Deluxe

Strengths: Good lighting enhancement, frame rate, and portability.

Weakness: No stand for desktop

I would recommend this web camera. It is high quality, portable, and has a decent frame rate. The face tracking software from Logitech works great too. It is also bundled with all the instant messaging software. Logitech still is the leader in web cam technology.

Great Product

Strengths: Small and compact.

Weakness: Video quality.

The first thing that I noticed about this webcam was it's size. It's pretty small and works great. Decent images, color, and pictures. Comes in handy when using my laptop.

Nice, sleek, stylish camera

Strengths: 1.3 Megapixel still and video camera Face tracking great design notebook clamp Recording light

Weakness: poor frame rate: 15 fps

I purchased this camera online some time back, and ever since I received it, I haven't stopped marveling at its sleek design and great photo quality.

Taking still photos from its 1.3 megapixel camera is a pleasure. So is recording videos, which becomes easy for anybody to do, thanks to the powerful yet simple interface of the software that Logitech ships with it.

This webcam is easily recognized by AOL, MSN and Yahoo messengers. Its picture quality is great, although frame rate at 15 fps falls short of other great webcams in its league. Face tracking feature is nice, but sometimes it can be annoying, so I love the option to turn it off. I also like the small green LED on the webcam that tells you when it is recording, so that you are not caught unawares broadcasting your private videos all over the world ;-)

Overall a great product. I love it!

Awesome Webcam

Strengths: Very small and cute.

Weakness: None.

I love this webcam. It is definately better than any other webcam that I have used. The pictures are great, and the quality is nice too. It was very easy to setup and install the software.

I like it a lot

Strengths: size, fitting with notebook computer, carrier

Weakness: color balance

I have had Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro ($75? at amazon.com), and got this QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe recently ($47 at buy.com). The Deluxe is smaller, build more rigid, and is stabilized stiller when it's hung on top of the notebook display. And it's much cheaper than the Pro. The white balance is a little off, which is not siginificantly worse than the Pro. For example, my face appears more white than itself. I like it a lot as a notebook user.

Nice little webcam

Strengths: Sleek, cute, small, nice n clear picture, inbuilt microphone

Weakness: wire kinda thicker but its with any other

I got this from amazon during few hours of special sale price ($20 AR). Fot this price its excellent. Its very small, fits pretty well on my 700m. I liked the clipping mechanism. The picture quality is great. you may or may not like the face tracking but u always have the option to disable it. Inbuilt microphone is gr8 inclusion. recommended.

Strengths: compact, small size, USB,

Weakness: low frame rate, media level resolution

It is very good webcam for MSN messenger. The video quality is OK. The default setting is fine. Lower the brightness and increase contrast will have pixelized images. The face tracking is OK but not perfect. Sometimes, it will zoom too close to the face. It is designed for clip on the LCD of laptop and hard to put on desk or any surface. However, it fit my purpose. I use it from my very mobile laptop and want the webcam to be small, light and easy to be carried. The size is very small. The bag come with the package is somewhat too big for the webcam.

Great value

Strengths: Small compact, great value for price

Weakness: Not securely mounned on computer

I got this $40 after rebate. This was a great value. Color is a little off, but most USB webcams are. It works for my video chatting on MSN messenger.

Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Deluxe

Strengths: small size. Well outlook. Good Cam bag. 1.3M pixel

Weakness: the wire is too hard, not flexible.

I purchased this webcam for my new Dell 700m laptop. So far, it has good looking and good bag for carry. Compared with my original 3.7 year old QuickCam, the quality is not good enough as my expection. I checked the image quality at night, not good. I will learn more to see if any software from Logitech can optimize the image quality. The other thing is the wire is tied to its head (suppose to be there), but the wire is too hard to get less flexible. Any small force will change the head angle. Hope in the future, I can see the more flexible wire (or soft wire) is used for this type webcam. Anyway, it is still worth for the $$ I spent.

Good camera for laptop

Strengths: Very small and has face tracking capability

Weakness: Not great resolution. The attachment should have been a clip.

This is a good and compact camera to use with a laptop. It comes with a nice case to carry it which helps a lot.
One of the better features of this camera is the capability of face tracking. Also it has image enchancing options and a bad light option too.
It does not have a great resolution but is good enough for a small camera.
The other problem I feel is the lack of clip attachment on the bottom. It does not attach to one of the two laptops I have.
I would definitely recommend this one for mobile user.

Strengths: Compact, Small, Cute, Bulid-in microphone, Easy mounting for Laptop

Weakness: Video resolution not so great.

Impressed by the size and outlook. For the other Logitech webcam for desktop, you have to mount them somewhere and adjust the position. With this deluxe version, you can easily mount on your laptop or even on your LCD monitor. Besides, build-in microphone saves the trouble for additional connection of the micorphone. Pretty compact design!!

Good price

Strengths: cheap, small, cool looking

Weakness: quality is not too great, but it is acceptable

got this for 4 days, and i would say it is a great webcam for its price. the material is not too bad. the quality of the camera is what u expected for a $40 webcam.
I would recommend this camera just for chatting.

NOTE BOOK CAM REVIEW

Strengths: GREAT PICTURE AND CLARITY

Weakness: CORD WAY TOO SHORT

THIS CAM HAS BANG FOR THE BUCK AND THE PICTURE CONTROL DUE TO PROGRAM IS GREAT FOR THE MONEY. VERY VERSATILE. HOWEVER THE CORD IS SO SHORT THAT YOU CANNOT POSITION CAMERA FOR BEST SHOT OR ALTERNATE USES. 24 INCHS OR MORE OF VERY INEXPENSIVE USB CORD WOULD COMPLETE THIS PRODUCT TO EXCELLENT STATUS.

Nice little webcam

I bought this little webcam from amazon.com for $50. I used it for about 2 months. I am very satisfied with it: clear picture, nice color, works well in both bright and dark places.
