Rockin Card for a Rockin Price!Strengths: amazing graphics, on high resolution monitors with full settings! Weakness: runs hot, shaky drivers somewhat well, I upgraded from a 7600GT that I bought a couple years ago...WOW!...the difference is huge...using Vista 32bit with DirectX 10 and this card, graphics are amazing...so far have run Assassin's Creed, and GRID...look amazing!...got it for $143 after rebate from Newegg....great price!...totally happy with the card performance..ATI's drivers seem to be a little shaky....there's a fanfix they will have to issue, which can actually be adjusted by the user in an .xml file...but, this should really be taken care of by the manufacturer! Best performance for the price!
Strengths: fast card, high fps on most games, single slot, amazing graphics, hdmi output with integrated 7.1 sound
Weakness: drivers...
This is the best card you can get for the price in my opinion. The only downside is probably the driver. In xp everything seems to be working fine, but on vista I get graphic lag from time to time even on low settings. Also alot of people are worried about heat, but the driver sets the fan to low speed percentage-wise, so all you have to do is change the fan speed to around 40%-45% to have almost no noise with excellent temps (google or youtube for more info) I also like the hdmi output which will help me hook this up to an HDTV without worrying about and extra cable or two for the sound. If you find a good deal on this card, just go for it.
