Pretty good overall

Strengths: Seems sturdy, lockable front, up front USB and firewire ports, side vent for attaching fan or directing air onto your CPU, big 120mm fan mount on the back.

Weakness: Drive cage not removable, documentation pratically non-existent, could be roomier inside, one USB jack partially obscured by case

I had a good overall experience putting together a computer using this case. Overall, I found it pretty roomy, though I wouldn't have minded an extra inch in depth so that the IDE drive connector on my MB would be a bit further from the HD. Also, inserting an HD into some of the slots required me to temporarily remove my RAM! More room, or a removable drive cage would solve that. Case is roomy enough in width since it was able to accommodate my Artic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro.

Came with almost no documentation, except a single sheet of paper describing the front-mounted USB and firewire ports. The top front mounted USB jack is partially obscured by the case. I haven't been able to use it. No up front audio ports, but not that big a deal for me.

I also got this on a great sale. Otherwise, I might be more critical.

Average Computer Case

Strengths: Steel construction

Weakness: Fan mounting, hard drive cage is not removable, hard to remove front bezel

I purchased this computer case because Circuit City had this as special for $9.99 after instant and mail-in rebates. I thought I would give a try. The case finally arrived today and I am already not crazy about it. The design is kind of cool but other than that this case is not for me – I like removable components and lot of space inside a case.

Removing the side panel is not difficult. But mounting a fan up front could be painful because there is not much space to work with or my hands are too big? Also the hard drive cage is not removable. The front bezel was hard to remove – I was extra careful not to break it and in the process I cut my finger. Ouch. What I did not like is the fact that the 5.25-inch bay needs to be popped out and the front audio and firewire cables attached to the bezel are too short. This case is definitely an RMA.
