Not reliableStrengths: Portability Weakness: Durability I've had two of Seagate's "expansion portable" drives. One had 1TB storage capacity, the other 500GB. The 1TB started ejecting itself more and more often after two months of use (despite energy saving being set to "off"). I was very careful with this hard drive, and the drive was not being moved when this happened. The other--my own fault, of course--was dropped from about 1m (3.3 feet) and its usb port broke (I removed the case and it looks like it's a cracked solder joint where the cable is connected.) The drive itself is probably Ok, but I can't access it as it is. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Seagate Expansion External Drive | 1TB
The Seagate Expansion External Drive is a basic portable hard drive for people who want to be able to easily transport data without a lot of setup or extra features to contend with. Good Item
Strengths: Design, Storage capacity
Weakness: Noise
This external is pretty good, it does its job & 1TB is definitely a great amount of storage for all my files. I like the design of this, but I find it be a bit nosy when I transfer items from my external to my mac & vice versa.
