VIA EPIA-M10000 Motherboard

Strengths: Extremely small, very quiet, low power consumption.

Weakness: No AGP graphics port and only one PCI slot. Processor is not as powerful as a Pentium or Athlon 1.0 GHz.

This is a great all-in-one motherboard. It has an integrated CPU, sound, video, and Ethernet. It includes the parallel and serial legacy ports as well as multiple USB 2.0 ports and capatability for firewire. Its small size, infrared remote connector, TV-out, digital TV encoder, and 5.1 surround sound makes this the perfect motherboard to build a home entertainment unit or personal video recorder. However, the CPU may not be powerful enough for heavy processing applications such as video editing or gaming.

VIA EPIA-M10000 Motherboard

Strengths: Compact design everything integrated on board.

Weakness: Processor a little slow but more than enough power for multimedia application this is not a gaming box

If your looking to build a small format multimedia pc then this is a great board to use if your looking to make it a gaming machine you had better look else where.

I tried loading a popular multiplayer game on it and it ran very poorly. Now if your looking to make a small HTPC or mobile PC this is a good way to go as everything is on board ie USB 2.O, Graphics, Sound, S video output ect.

It does run a little slower than some large format 1.0gig machines I've used in the past but that is minor compared to the amount of integration you get on the board over all I'm really happy with my purchase
