Good Deal but no keyboard lightGot it with 50% off discount. Good deal. My only complaint is that the keyboard doesn't have background light, making it hard to use in the dark. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

great for a media center pcStrengths: Battery, Weight, Software compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals fast, easy plug & play. No problems with Vista and Windows 7 PC's. The right and left "mouse" clicks are a little stiff, but fine considering this is not meant as a replacement keyboard. There should be a backlight version of this and the "esc" key should be easier to find since it needs to be used often for full screen applications. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great ProductStrengths: Battery, Software compatibility, Build Quality I purchased this product for use with my Lenovo laptop. It provides a full keyboard and a multimedia remote that fully integrates with Media Center. With this one controller, I can watch and control DVD movies, or pop out of Media Center and look up something on a web page without having to access the laptop's keyboard. As a solution for someone looking for a Media Center remote while using their laptop as a home entertainment PC, I can highly recommend this product. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Would not recommend!Strengths: Weight Purchased this item about 6 weeks ago. Item is too small for even an average sized hand. #7 key sticks after 2 days of use. Keys are too small, but the item is very portable. If size were increased only 40%, it might be just the right size. Looks great, though, but I did not buy it for looks. I bought a Microsoft ARC keyboard and it is just perfect. No way would I recommend this item unless you wanted to waste $45. OH, wireless feature was not that great, either! (Too weak) Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Remote keyboardStrengths: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals Easy to use-just plug in the usb and it's ready to go. Trackball is in away sometime and key stroke kind of small if you have large hand. Overall, I like the design and it's portable. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Excellent product, with caveatsStrengths: Weight, Build Quality, range Weakness: usability in dim conditions, trackball accuracy, mouse button placement This is an excellent remote keyboard and trackball, with only a couple of niggling design choices that keep it from getting a perfect score. The good: lightweight, easy to use, works as intended, great fit and finish, great range. The not so good that could be improved in the next generation: 1) Trackball has a little play in it and it is next to impossible to lift your thumb from it without jiggling the cursor a few pixels, giving you poor precision. 2) The position of the mouse buttons, above the trackball, make it almost certain that you will move the trackball whenever you reach over it with your thumb to click the button, especially the left button if you track with your right thumb. To avoid this, you have to either use your left thumb for pressing the left button, making it a two-handed operation, or shift your grip on the unit unnaturally high, which makes it easier to press the left button, but more awkward to use the trackball. 3) it is impossible to see the labels of the keys in anything other than normal lighting conditions. If you are on your couch, with only the end-table lamps lit, you will probably have to lean toward the light to get directly under the lampshade to read the keys, as the labels are small and do not contrast brightly against the background color of the keys. It is also not possible to navigate the keys by touch, since they have an altered layout from a normal keyboard, and they are only barely raised. Backlit keys should be a requirement for multimedia remotes, which will often be used in dim conditions, such as presentations or movie nights at home. Conclusion: glad I bought it, comes in handy, but could be improved. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great presentation toolStrengths: Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Keyboard/peripherals a good interface 1) use during presentation, without being ties to being alongside the laptop interface to the projector 2) to allow a fellow participant to take on the conversation during brainstorming (agile development) 3) helps increase the participation of others during a meeting Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? N5901 as HTPC keyboardStrengths: Durability, Build Quality Weakness: see the review I bought this to use with my HTPC. The idea is good, the product however has a few shortcomings. Such as: 1 - No back lit keys, I need a flashlight to find the keys (big nuisance). I keep a small LED flashlight nearby. 2 - The trackball is somewhat too sensitive. You cannot move the keyboard without waking up the PC. 3- Don't expect to type a paragraph with it. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

highly recommendedStrengths: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Support, Durability, Software compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals, Build Quality, ergonomics i've been looking for a wireless add on to my computer gadgets and this is the perfect product. easy to use mini keyboard and trackball. fits in your hand and can easily control the trackball w/ thumb operation. the keyboard doesn't have a backlight but the raised buttons helps a bit. the media buttons works great for my use. as i mainly use for basic remote and its great for chatting while watching movies on a big screen. compatible w/ ps3! awesome! can't wait to try it w/ xbox360. Excellent remote for Media CenterStrengths: Battery, Weight, Durability, Build Quality Why buy expensive web tv gadgets from Logitech and Sony. Get a atom mini system and this multimedia remote for an inexpensive media center with much more features. Great remote. Easy to operate and very responsive. Try many before settling for this. I love Lenovo quality. Great battery life and stylish design. Very small and easy to setup and operate. Buy it. You won't regret. Highly recommended!!! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

All goodStrengths: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Weight Weakness: Keyboard/peripherals, too sensitive Pros: works well, has on/off switch, combines keyboard & trackball in 1 device. Cons: The keyboard is smaller than I expected and difficult to read in low light. The trackball is too sensitive & doesn't offer enough resistance (difficult to control) Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great Little ProductStrengths: Weight, Keyboard/peripherals, Build Quality If your looking for a way to control your laptop when sitting at your couch while connected to your hdtv, this is the product you need. While it is very light, it's controls are responsive. While it's keyboard can be tricky to get used to, the price makes it worthwhile. Especially if you can pick it up on sale. Definitely worth trying if your looking to control Windows Media center. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The best Multimedia Remote with keyboardStrengths: Support, Keyboard/peripherals, Build Quality Very nice design and work well. I'm using this with my compact media center pc which is connected to my living room 55inch TV. It looks cool by design and perfect for living room system use. Much better by design and price compare to logitec multimedia keyboard. I plan to buy another 1 soon for my bedroom TV system. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great gadget! This is a nice budget gadget. You don't have to pay too much for the similar product you can find in other brands such as logitech. It is a keyboard, a mouse, and a remote. I like the fact that it pretty much does everything you want to do when you are at a distance from your PC. Such as adjusting volume and other media controls, browsing internet, and typing from my bed when my PC is on my desk a few steps away. Has on and off button to save battery. Good connectivity. The only minor thing is with the track ball on the device. I am a lazy person and would like to use this device only with my right hand, but it is a bit difficult when I want to roll the track ball and do left-click the same time without using both hands. Other than that, it is a fantastic little gadget. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great value, Great functionailityStrengths: Battery, Weight, Durability, Software compatibility, Build Quality This product has been on my target list for a many months and when the price dropped back in December, I knew I had to have it. Its great and exceeded my expectations. The form-factor is great for even my huge Fred Flintstone like hands. It has a great range and performs great on my PCs and my MACs. The USB dongle has a storage area inside the remote when you travel with it. Its so simple to use and the integrated track ball with the full QWERTY keyboard has been a value add to my living room. From watching movies to surfing the web on my 40" LCD from the couch, this product simply ROCKS! The holiday decals are cheesy and add no value, but the unit itself is slick and functional. Good product and can be betterStrengths: Weight This is a good product and can do a better job if it has back-lite. It is working fine if just use it to browse different website, but you will find it a little difficult if you want to use it to do email - especially whenyou want to type ',', '(', ')',..... A good value, portable mouse with keyboard. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

mouseStrengths: Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Software compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals, Build Quality Weakness: characters too small Windows 7 64bit automatically recognize it. It is so small that you can hold the keyboard & mouse in one hand and use your right thumb to move your cursor. The only downside is that the characters and symbols are too small because of its size. But it is still an excellent control for a HTPC. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Works with a few flawsOverall, this works fine and have reliable connection with a few problems when used as my HTPC remote. 1. Missing a sleep/wake up button. Wish the my computer button was that instead. 2. No back light or fluorescent letters, noway you can see the letters in the dark, which is normally the case when you use as HTPC remote. 3. Added to the problem 2 is the letter marking is too small, so you cannot see them even at the low light condition. You'll need bright light to operate the keyboard. 4. The track ball is too light or missing some friction. Unless you can precisely vertically take-off your finger, which I found to be awfully difficult, you'll push the cursor away from the intended target when your figure leaves the ball. 5. The position of the left mouse button make the problem 4 worse as it is hard to reach for single hand operation and you most like will touch the ball and move the cursor the moment you click and you clicked at the wrong link. That being said, overall this is a good tool and it will be great if Lenovo can fix above problems. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top
