Great hard disk drive

Strengths: Fast, cool, quiet.

Weaknesses: None.

Review: I have 3 of these. I have one in an eSATA Hard Drive Dock (Toaster). It runs very cool, and quiet. It's also noticeably faster than my other (not very old) hard drives. Hitachi is really a step ahead of the competition with this one.

Good harddrive

Strengths: space 931GB after format, fast 3gb/sec

Weaknesses: none so far

Review: I bought Hitachi 1TB drive to replace 2x80GB drives in my desktop computer, it generates less heat and uses less energy. I paid $99.00 after rebate, that is approximately $0.10/1GB which a great ratio. It took 2 hours to do NTFS format.
