Strengths: Solid, simple style.
Weaknesses: Not that great of support for it.
Review:  I bought this modem and never really used it that much as I already had something that works better for my situation. This modem does seem to be a good, sturdy device, but lacks the customer service that other networking companies provide. Mostly this modem has been discontinued and is being cleared out of stores at fairly low prices. So if you want a good, cheap modem, then I would say go for it.

Review:  This is my first cable modem. Has been online for about 2-3 weeks now. Hooked into a Belkin wireless-G rounter so I could shunt to a G-equipped laptop in my kitchen, one floor down. First home networking/internet sharing experience, expected a weekend-long headache of arcane network configuration----but amazingly everything worked well with minimal fuss...and ok, one call to Comcast tech support....

I TESTED THE UPLOAD AND DOWLOAD SPEED AND IT PRODUCED THE SAME RESULT AS THE PREVIOUS MODEM. BRAND NAME AND IT'S CHEAPER THAN ATT SPEEDSTREAM MODEM.

Review: This unit has several advantages over IP provided or rented modems. It stacks with other Linksys products, is self configuring, espcially when used with other Linksys products and with the cable upgrade just done in my area I'm pulling 2.9Mbs down and 247k uploads. WOW. Very fast and reliable.

Review: I haven't owned a lot of cable modems to compare with but this one works great for me so far! I've had no problems with it, it works exactly as it should and it was very easy to set up and understand. I had it up and running 10 minutes after opening the box.
