Weaknesses: extremely hot, not too well on over clocking as some models
Review:  I bought this processor to replace my amd athlon x2 5200+ processor. I had my 5200 overclocked from 2.6 to 3.04g so i figured i could clock this one pretty high too. As soon as i put this sucker in (used a stock amd cooler which i had from my 5200, i used a zalman one on my 5200) this thing was too hot to operate. Even in just windows vista not overclocked it as running around 50 something...

Review: I use to build my first htpc. It runs very quite and fast. I really like it. I have no trouble to install the cpu on my motherboard. I remember Intel cpu gives me lots of headache the time I install the cpu fan. Anyway, I give it 4 stars.

Strengths: inexpensive compared to Intel
Weaknesses: i prefer the 4 pin fan connectors versus the clip.
Review: Install was smooth. Thou initially when I first turned on, the motherboard was beeping. But once I turned it off and on , it ran through POST just fine. Intel OEM fan seems better than AMD's included fan. Fan came with thermal grease already on the base. Cant help with OC as I have never done it.

THE BEST Value for an AMD dual Core!
Strengths: EXTREMELY fast, dual core, 64 bit compliant, plenty of room for gaming and future computing, and the "boasting" rights!
Weaknesses: None so far. Has been very stable since I've had it and I use it to play Oblivion. I'm sure it will continue serving me well.
Review: I highly recommend this CPU for anyone looking for a value fast CPU especially for gaming. The included heatsink is pretty nice, though it is too bad that the fine print says that you void your warranty if you use any other heatsink or cooling product. Other than that, AMD has done another great job in this CPU set. I LOVE IT!

Strengths: Fast processor for a reasonable price
Weaknesses: Can't think of any.
Review: This processor is a great one for a reasonable price. It came with a heat sink and fan, as well as having thermal fluid applied already, which was really convenient, so there was no need to purchase a tube of it. Looks cool with the holographic AMD logo on the fan as well. Fully recommended.

Weaknesses: Packaging. It may kill your motherboard but it it won't harm the environment!
Review:  The AMD Athlon64 3500+ is definitely a fast processor for the money. It currently occupies my "Sweet spot" for most processor bang for the buck. I have not yet been able to assess the speed in 64 bit applications as I have none but it sufficiently fast in my new 32 bit server running Windows 2003 server. Upgraded from AMD 3200 - Good Descision.
Strengths: Great price = $226. Dual Core compatibility with older MBs. Fast & runs cool.
Weaknesses: Any fan but stock voids warranty, bigger concern for OC'ers (not me). Most of my programs aren't optimzed for dual core - yet.

Insanely fast!
Strengths: Has an intensely high processing ability! Fits many modern MoBos.
Weaknesses: Almost expensive as equal dual core. Needs good cooling.
Review: This processor has allowed me to custom-build my own god-like computer with only 1500 dollars. I have been able to run games such as half-life 2 and counter strike: source with no processing problems. Runs everything very smoothly.

Review: I'm using this processor with an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard and have had absolutely no problems. The 3700+ San Diego flies through just about anything you can throw at it. Weaknesses: None

AMD x2 4200+ way better than expected
Strengths: relatively low price, energy efficient, super fast
Weaknesses: overclocking not satisfactory, low cache mem compared to upper level toledo model, included fan not so good (but doable)
Review:  I bought this cpu to upgrade from my 1year old celeron D 345 (3.06 GHz), and it's really huge improvement. Since mobo, ram (ddr-> ddr2) are also changed, the huge improvement could be natural, but I think the mostly this cpu plays a really important role. In addition to multi-tasking, it surely does very well for a single job. I think, it's comparable to intel's C2D E6300 or so....
