Review: I own a 210 and 500LE. Both are fine units and are comparable, performance-wise. It is easier to distinguish fine detail better on the 500, but the backlight is rather bright, especially at night, on the 500LE. At night, the 500's display is too bright; it would have been better to be able to turn the display off when it is not needed. The 210's red display is much easier on the eyes...

Strengths: Display, ease of use, size, ability to pick up satelites even indoors or in a car

Weaknesses: Mapsend software was difficult to install on the GPS.

Review: Overall, this is an excellent GPS. A friend of mine has a Garmin Etrex Legend and the Magellan is much easier to use. Also, the display on the Magellan is very clear, even in bright light. I am new to using a GPS so I've had to play with this a lot to figure it out, but I found it much easier to learn than my friend's Etrex Legend.

Strengths: Multiple routing methods (fastest or shortest distance); Auto detour; Reasonable price; Map datas are accurate

Weaknesses: Cannot reroute while vechicle is moving; Sometimes it freezes for no reason

Review: This model of GPS is the entry level of Magellan product lines. All of their products in Maestro brand are using the latest map data. The one I have is using April 2007 map. Comparing to other products at similar price level, their map is very accurate. Other than the map, all other functions are pretty much the same and standard. If you are looking for a cheap GPS, this one is not a bad choice.

Nice GPS at last.

Strengths: Accurate and shows step by step directions if the signal is lost (in tunnels, etc.)

Weaknesses: Docking station can be better (hard to attach the GPS) and no battery power.

Review: After using Garmin Street Pilot III, Navman iCN510, and Palm GPS product, this is by far the best. After almost a week, I am quite pleased with this product. You can get it for under 500 bucks on eBay or at BJ's Wholesale Club. You can also get a SW upgrade for $99 that will give you all the functionality of the 760 model costing few hundred more.

Strengths: SIRFIII chipset, NAVTEQ maps, great signal reception, and AAA assistant

Weaknesses: none

Review: This 3140 Magellan Maestro is a great bang for the buck. Along with the much more accurate satellite-fixing SIRFIII chipset, it (along with Garmin units) uses NAVTEQ maps which are much more accurate and up-to-date, unlock TomTom and others. It's a feature packed GPS that is great value.

Weaknesses: Sometimes instructs you to make illegal turns. Always picks main roads over shortest route.
