An expensive lens with really good quality
Strengths: Can take very good portraits. Color is very rich and bright.
Weaknesses: Price is too high. Get fuzzy pictures easily in a slightly dark place.(no feature of stabilizer)
Review: It is definitely an excellent lens. Sometimes I encounter back focus problem and I guess it is because the focus spot is too dark. Other than that, the color is incredibly bright and rich. No post-processing required.

Strengths: Cheap, light, small, good range
Weaknesses: Cheap construction, slightly soft
Review: Only 2 weeks usage, but I am generally pleased with the lens. It's not great, but it is a budget level lens, so expectations should not be high. Considered the 70-300IS also, but at 2x cost, did not think it was worth it, and prefer to have 55 on the short end rather than 70. Recommended, for what it is.
