AGP Video Card, does the job.
Strengths: Compete's with the best video card's today. Could play any game without graphic trouble.
Weaknesses: Gets hot way too fast. If your computer overheats and you stick this baby in, the temperature only rises.
Review: Since I do play games like counterstrike and warcraft 3, there isnt much to be happy about. But the problem with all video cards today is that it gets too hot. Besides the temperature, there are no problem's with this AGP card.

Go with Sapphire
Strengths:  Very good graphics, going from a 128MB 9600 Pro, which didn't perform too bad, but this is definitely better. Runs the new Flight Simulator X...
Weaknesses: Way more expensive the the Sapphire equivalent. Fan is NOISY!!! Really bothering me a ton. CD Driver doesn't work. Had to download from site.
Review: If I were to have to buy over again, I would buy the Sapphire, seeing as the fan looks as if it would work better, and is much cheaper $$$.

sims 2
Strengths: it's fast and a good picture
Weaknesses: it has a problem with sims 2 glamour life stuff
Review:  when i first got it the salesman said it would blow the game away it was so good and now that i use it something is wrong. Ever since i got it when i go to play the game it minimizes every 5 seconds or so and has a graphics error that says it keeps changing my graphics settings. and we tried to fix it by installing direct x 9.0c and that gave us a new error that says we don't have direct x...

Powerhouse graphics
Strengths: Fastest AGP card for Mac Relatively fair priced
Weaknesses: Spendy Gotta have air flow Not much for Mac gaming is it worth $370 for a graphics card upgrade for a computer that's likely 1-2 years old?
Review:  Really Mac users are pretty locked in graphic purchases. As of writing this the Mac ATI Radeon 9800 Pro sells for $220 at the lowest end and the PC ATI Radeon 9800 Pro is $130 where as the X800 XT is $370 vs $350 for its PC counterpart. Due to the small market (Mac is niche then factor in the only people with the ability to change graphics cards are a PowerMac users, G5 users at that minus the...

Built by ATI vs Powered by ATI
Strengths: Great Card, Great Graphics, Many Resolution Options, Great for Games.
Weaknesses: Confusing between "Built by ATI" and "Powered by ATI"
Review:  Theres are basically 2 types of ATI Radeon Video Cards. On the box the item will either say: 1. There's a "Built by ATI". Which means that the Video Card has all ATI parts and was put together by ATI. This card is covered under the ATI warranty. So for any problems you would contact ATI. The "Built by ATI" Video card is the ATI Radeon 9600 XT, 128 MB, etc, etc... 2....

ATI X1300 256MB
Strengths: Vista supported with dual output
Weaknesses: Price, fan noise and low performance in latest games.
Review:  Needed to replace a PCI video controller in a workstation computer. Seemed the reasonable price/performance ratio. 256MB should be enough to drive two large screen dual outputs in vista with all trimmings. There is a slight fan noise from the card, but not too bad. The VGA output is not as good as the DVI output. Would of liked to see two DVI outputs with a VGA converter. Older games play well,...

Huge Improvement
Strengths: Good performance, not too expensive, comes with Composite and S-Video cables.
Weaknesses: Fan is a little noisy.
Review: I just upgraded the standard video card that came with my Dell desktop and see a huge improvement with watching movies, playing games and working with video editing. This card is much faster than the old one. I wouldn't call myself a tech person but it was easy to swap out the video card. Overall, it was money well spent.

not bad
Strengths: easy to install, it supports dual monitors, works fine
Weaknesses: price, doesn't have a GPU fan
Review: It's a low cost down-cut version of the 9600. You can overclock it. There are modded drivers out there but some people prefer to use ATI's original drivers. This video card can handle most of the new games without overclocking but the settings have to be on low. Drivers needed to be updated to run new games.

Nice Video Card
Strengths: Great quality for the average gamer. Quick and easy to install.
Weaknesses: too many CD's, but good software
Review: I tested out this card and it's okay, but I'd rather get something more powerful for gaming and video editing purposes. Overall, it's excellent for an average computer/gamer user.
