Weakness: Finish quality is exaggerated...it's not a mirror finish, but it's still quite good.

It's really easy to put together, with only 6 screws needed for assembly. The enclosure comes with a very nice carrying case that also holds the cable. The included usb cable is above average since it has 2 heads. Power on USB port

Strengths: For $29.35 delivered from ZipZoomFly.com I think this is a very good value. The Enclosure stays very cool. I got the midnight blue (NST-260U2-BL) and I think it looks very nice.

Weakness: Provider should document that external power supply is not provided but that the two USB heads should provide enough power for even low power USB ports.

I was under the mistaken impression that this system came with a separate power supply since my Dell 600m doesn't have enough power to drive it on a single USB port. The system has an external DC +5V power jack, but you have to buy the DC power supply separately. However, because the cable has 2 USB heads my laptop has enough power for the external drive. This is a great enclosure for the money. I had no problems with it. It is very compact and very sturdy. It is also very nice looking compared to others I have looked at.

I had my first one for about 6 months before I ordered another one. The first one, which is blue, took a long time for the computer to recognize it, normally up to 20 minutes. This is a great little unit. It is very fast and compact. The fit & finish are excellent. Easy to install 2.5 laptop drive. Chief-Value even delivered it a day early. Very happy with this unit.

good hard disk enclosure
