Don't buy if planning on getting rebate

Strengths: Average power supply

Weakness: Rebates don't trust them, very sloppy. Customer service absolutely rude and not helpful one even hanged up on me. But i guess after a few months they did shape up.

Ultra Products is horrible with rebates DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU WANT A REBATE. They said i had the correct rebate UPC code and everything but there was no rebate promotion going on during that time. Ultra V-Series 500-Watt

Strengths: good for the price; ugly version of more expensive psu

Weakness: can get noisy at higher watt draw

Good assortment of connectors-- Excellent value in a power supply. In addition you can upgrade the warranty to lifetime status if you register online. I see a lot of power supplies in this price range that do not get good reviews, are D.O.A., loud fans etc-- not this one! This will be my first choice the next time I need a power supply.

Great PSU at great price

Strengths: Nice looking, powerful, very quiet PSU

Hat it running on my new built Athlon 64 X2 computer for 30 days without any problems. Very please with this PSU. Apparentlt this PSU is backed with limited life time warranty from the manufacturer as some have pointed out. Awesome.

Strengths: Good price, easy to install, 120mm fan

I bought this power supply at a very good price a few months ago, it is working great. It is compatible with both AMD and Intel CPUs, very easy to install. It also comes with all the accessories that I need.

Ultra V-Series Black 500w PSU

Strengths: Nice big 120mm fan! Simple, basic and performs nicely.

Weakness: May be a bit too basic for hard core modders. Only 1 PCI Express and 2 SATA connectors.

Good basic power supply unit with a 120mm fan. Pretty quiet and adequate for a basic simple system. Been using it for 2 weeks now and haven't had any problems with it. Only drawback is only 1 PCI Express connector so no dual video card support and only 2 SATA connectors. Overall, a surprisingly worthy power supply unit for the price.

V-Series means VALUE!

Great Power Supply for the Price

Strengths: Price, Looks, Noise Level

Weakness: None for the price

This is a very good power supply. I bought it for $10 after rebate, and, assuming that the rebate comes, I could not be more happier. It is very quiet, looks great, and my system runs very smooth. Great product.

Great Power Supply

Strengths: Quiet, many connections, 120mm Fan, SATA, Lifetime warranty if you register

Weakness: Died after 6 months but recieved new one free of charge under the warranty

It has a good price and good features. It's nothing special but is stable and easy to install. Has many connections that I will probably never use up. Since it has a lifetime warranty, if it dies they send you a new one within a week. Great customer service.

Ultra/ V-Series 500W Power Supply

Strengths: 20/24 connection, SATA and PCI express connection.

Weakness: none

Durable, high performance power supply with a 120mm fan. Cables are very flexible and can be routed out of sight for a cleaner look and better cooling. Unlike the power supply that came with my case this one has very stable voltage and is very quiet. It has 20/24 pin motherboard connection along 2 SATA connectors.

This PSU has performed admirably so far. I've owned several other Ultra power supplies and must say their quality has improved over the years. I especially like this power supply because it was so cheap, comes with a fairly quiet 120mm fan, and offers a ton of connections and power. Definitely be sure to register your product with Ultra in order to have the lifetime warranty though!
