Beautifully made, intelligently designedStrengths: Well designed, great quality, fair price! Weakness: none The bag is so well designed that there's no worry about having the bag opening up and having all your expense gear fall out. The opening where you remove the camera has straps that prevent it from opening all the way by accident. All in all I am very satisfied with the bag. I would recommend it to anyone but if you have more than a couple of lenses to your photography arsenal I would upgrade to...

Lowepro SlingShot 100 Camera BagStrengths: Design, ease of use, size and construction Weakness: Inside divider system This bag is great! It is easier to use than a conventional backpack camera bag. The bag swings easily and quickly to position for easy access to my camera. There is ample room for an extra lens and if you need more space, the maker does have a larger version. The only short coming is the partition system on the inside of the bag. It does not have a whole lot of flexibility. I highly recommend...

Lowepro Slingshot 100 AW Camera BagStrengths: adjustable dividers, microfiber screen protector, can be carried by sling or handle, zipper stops prevent accidental opening, security of having this bag attached to your body Weakness: main compartment could be larger, top accessory compartment needs additonal padding Just purchased with new digital SLR. Was going to purchase a standard "bag" until I saw another salesman demonstrating the Slingshot for another customer. Really liked the idea of being able to throw it over the shoulder and have it out of the way but also has easy access to the compartments by spinning it around. No more setting a bag down in the mud and dirt just to open. Time will tell on the...

Great bag.Strengths: Well designed for digital photographer in mind, comfortable to wear, well padded, built in all-weather cover, doesn't look like a "man purse", lots of pockets, easy to switch from back to front. Weakness: Can only be worn over the right shoulder...not really a big deal. I was using a Tamrac toploader bag for easy access to my camera. When my equipment outgrew that bag, I bought the SlingShot. My bag holds a D70 with attached Sigma 18-50 lens, a 50mm lens, a P2000, SB-800, batteries, and various accessories. If you have more equipment, I would recommend the bigger SlingShot 200. I recently used this bag while shooting a social event. I had no problem with...

Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW Camera BagStrengths: great protection for all your gear able to access camera without removing the bag Weakness: none I have a Nikon D70S camera and I am able to carry the camera with the following equipment: SB800 Flash, 3 pack of lens filters, extra batteries for the flash, extra memory cards, there is a spot for an additional lens when i decide to get it, and I also carry my Nikon 7900 in this case also. This bag is a great design for someone that doesn't want something to big but yet again able to hold alot...

Lowepro SlingShot 100 AW Camera Bag - Good...Strengths: Smart design does what's advertised - quick camera access Durable fabric, comfortable padded strap Compact design Weakness: Compact design results in minimal "extra" storage Longer telephoto lenses may not fit Velcro pads not fully adjustable The SlingShot is a solid, durable camera bag that does exactly what it's meant to do -- provides compact, comfortable storage when not in use, yet provides easy and quick access to the camera by slinging the bag from back to chest. Design is smart. Main padded area holds a DSLR with attached lens (long telephotos may not fit). Top storage section is handy - about the size of a softball, but not...

Fantastic bag for amateur dSLR users!Strengths: Well-padded compartment; built-in micro fiber to protect LCD screen; built-in all weather cover; sling strap; easy to rotate bag from back to front; large accessory storage; etc Weakness: Velcro area a bit narrow 2 weeks after I purchased Lowepro Photo Runner Bag, I bought SlingShot 100 AW. Photo Runner is great, but when I need to carry all my lenses, flash, macro tube, filters, blower, and other extra stuff, I need SlingShot. This is the best comera bag I have ever had. But be aware that this is designed for dSLR with 1-2 extra lenses and personal accessories. If you are a pro and have very long...

Good ProductStrengths: lots of pockets, good padding / sturdy shape, well organized, quality materials Weakness: Some will see size as a weakness, but that's not really fair. This is a great bag for quick access to a digital SLR with a small to medium lengh lens. It has well thought out storage for minimal gear. The bag is not intended to hold massive ammounts of gear or really long lenses.

Great Bag, Excellent ValueStrengths: Lots of storage, not overly bulky, lots of protection for the camera. Huge plus that it can be worn, out of the way while still shooting pictures, and is at the same time easily accessible Weakness: None Overall a great product, the raincover is also a nice little bonus as well. For the money I think it is one of the best bags out there. It provides good protection for your pricey investment and gives you the storage that is needed.

SlingShot 100 AW - GOOD
Strengths: Excellent construction, build quality. Smart design, convenient to grab camera. Compact for hiking, comfortable strap.
Weakness: Only big enough for 2-3 lenses and a SMALLER dslr camera. Shoulder strap would have been more natural to drape over the left shoulder (I'm right handed).
The size is actually very convenient to me since I don't want to carry much, just the essentials. If you need more than 2-3 lenses + flashes, accessories, or have a bigger dslr choose the 200. This one is pretty compact. It feels like it was built very well and was intuitively designed. It's a snug fit for my *ist DL, so a bigger camera may be too tight. Again, my only nitpick is the way the...
