great flexability for different cpusStrengths: tomshardware recommended to get this and i got it for a decnet price. This system is expandable. Weakness: the difficulty to install has been an issue for me Watercooling definatly worth the noise reduction This is used to cool my pentium 4 system that i have overclocked, but this would also work on an athlon system or any of the non-latest systems. thermal take does make a new very similar model that works on all CPU tyes, even BTX motherboards.

three thumbs up!Strengths: easy to install, great cooling, good price Weakness: large radiator, bad resivoir design after hooking this up to my AMD 64bit dual core... the cpu was running for 4 hours at idle and only got to 89F. this is a lot better than air cooled! the only downside was trying to mount the radiator. the thing is huge and wouldnt fit flush anywhere, inside or out. so i attached the top 2 screws and left the bottom kind of dangling there since it could lay flat. the resivoir inlet and outlet ar...

Big Water SE Rocks!!Strengths: Cools CPU almost to ambient temp, with fan speed at max Easy Install Attractive looking components Weakness: Hoses kink a little too easily Install was breeze, No leaks. 5 1/4" bay tank made startup easy but could be lit up with some LEDS to show coolant level. My current setup includes a AMD Athlon 1.0Ghz CPU(planning an upgrade to x64 3700+) and an Aspire Q-XPack Case. I mannaged to mount the rad on the back of my case with the Fan on the inside. Some sawing and folding was required but in the end I think it looks and operates...

ThermalTake CL-W0005-01 BigWater SE 12cm Liquid...Strengths: small size makes internal or external installation possible on right computer cases. Weakness: does not include gpu waterblock, but can be bought seperately. even though this small liquid cooler cannot match the performance of a large external liquid cooler, the fact is any liquid cooler will be superior to air cooling. since the cpu and gpu is the 2 hottest components in a computer, i recommend buying waterblocks for both of them and with cpu's and gpu's getting faster they're also getting hotter and it won't be long until all computers are liquid...

ThermalTake CL-W0005-01 BigWater SE 12cm Liquid...Strengths: small size allows for radiator/fan to be installed inside or outside the computer case. also comes with waterblock that fits popular amd and intel cpu's Weakness: dosen't have cooling performance of a large external liquid cooler. also kit does not include gpu waterblock, which must be bought seperately. after countless hours of reviewing articles regarding cpu's and gpu's getting more powerful comes more heat which makes air cooling less adequate, it's obvious that liquid cooling is becoming more of a necessity. so with my investments in a computer case and psu both being thermaltake, it was a no brainer to go with bigwater since that's made by thermaltake also, compatibility with my computer...

THERMALTAKE BIGWATER SE 12CM LIQUID COOLING SYSTEMStrengths: Reasonibly cheap for a liquid cooling system that works pretty good. Weakness: Installation insturcttions don't explain it very well so some peeople may have a lot of trouble. refilling will be somewhat a pain. radiator could have been a issue but I have a full tower with 5 51/4 bays so I just cut a hole in the top and placed the radiator inside and the fan outside. I mounted the pump inside the case for the tank and that kept it from taking too much room as I have a lot of internal devices. At night it was running 15 degrees cooler than with my old standard heatsink ( 89F ) and during the day it did...

budget WC kit
Strengths: able to fit everything inside a mid tower case
Weakness: cheap quality
Just took this kit out of my PC. I developed a leak at the base of the barb coming from the pump outlet. I also earlier took apart the CPU water block to clean and cracked the clear plastic too easily. Clear cover is hollow and should be solid, at least at screw points. I would buy a good CPU fan at half the price if on a budget. I would recommend stepping up and buy a good quality setup if going...
